Kyrie would notice Shiloh's hesitation, and would turn to face Shiloh.
"Never resist what you feel. If you want to comfort her, do so, regardless of my presence. You've earned that with her. I need to re-earn that right. Especially since..."
She dropped off unwilling to say what happened.

Shiloh reached out to place her hand gently beside Kyrie's, and she whispered softly, "Thank you..."
Then, she moved over to Adel, reaching both hands out to her.
"Adel," she murmured, and offered her a kind, gentle smile. If Adel would let her, she'd wrap both arms around her friend, holding her tight against her chest, where she would gently stroke her hair and hum to her.

Adelaide would accept the embrace and sob into Shiloh's shoulder. Kyrie would rub Adelaide's arm.
"I promise I'll stick around for as long as I can this time kiddo. I promise."

Shiloh continued to hum softly, her fingers tangling in Adelaide's hair. She rocked her gently back and forth. Now was obviously not the time to tell her, but that time would come. Now was the time to comfort her.
