Urban Decay (Drake)

[Drake]

"Don't just casually stand there and say your death won't have any impact."

Drake would say turning to look at DJ with a fire in his eyes DJ had not seen before.

"You insult everyone you care about, and everyone that cares about you. Not just the ones that care about you now but those that will care for you in your future, and those that cared about you in your past."

Dj would look him dead in the eyes as he spoke.

"I won't mention it again. Though I would be remissed if I didn't clarify."

He would close another step, now only a step away.

"I mentioned I would fight to my death. Not lay down and shame myself. I am not going to ever let myself go because I worked my ass off and earned my way where I am. If I die it was because I worked myself to death."

He would pull out his totem. "I got this, a totem that will let me have a god trial back in the old world. Not because I'm suicidal, but because I wanted to one day be strong enough to make this world better for you."

As he spoke there was not a fire in his eyes, just a will tougher than diamond. The normally soft, beautiful glow of his spirit intense and dense as lead. His voice finally breaking his signature calm, to show emotional honesty. Not angry, just raw.

His normally perfect, regal posture now loose and closed, "I am not my mother..."

Drake would step away from the edge and face DJ.

"Then allow me to clarify as well."

He would say locking eyes with DJ.

"Being content with death, whether it is because you want to die, or simply are ready to die when you are defeated, are both equally detestable in my opinion."

He would state.

"Death should NEVER be acceptable. One should fight to live even when they have nothing, and no one left. Death is not something that should be given. Ever. Death means to TAKE AWAY life, and that is exactly how death should come. If death comes for you, you fight and fight and FIGHT to prevent it from taking you. One day, you will lose that fight, but so long as you have the will to fight, and none of this bullshit acceptance, THAT is what will keep you alive."

Dj would keep his stare up. Looking in Drake's eyes intensely. Drake alone could tell he was hurt by looking at his soul, but this was also not an emotion he ever expressed.

"I don't plan on dying when I'm defeated. You don't remember how I got to this world if you think so little of me." His tone of voice soft, guarded. The last bit of defiance Dj was willing to give.

"Every time death was the next obstacle in me living the life I wanted, I kept walking. What keeps me alive is my own drive."

"The only reason I said it is because of the 2 people I allowed truly into my life, I met with you the most, and we only have seen each other 3 times. I don't know what either of you think of me. I do care... I'm selfish like that. Though no matter if you do or don't care I'm going to be there."

He would pause and stare at the totem. He voiced more about himself then he ever had. He would just stare quietly at it for a moment. His spirit calming down again as he went quiet.

He just voiced all of his deepest uncertainties and insecurities. Dj, knew this could end ugly for him, but was ready for whatever came next.

[Drake]

Drake placed a hand on DJ's shoulder.

"Then I apologizes for misunderstanding your words. But too often I hear words of fools thinking they are proclaiming some great sacrifice as if it is something that should be praised and appreciated, when in the end death is death. The end."

He sighed.

"I do care about you, to what degree, I do not know. But that doesn't mean that I will be fine with your death, understand?"

[Djoser Aneksi]

"Understood."

He would then go to his blanket and sit on one side of it. Grabbing a drink and staring the opposite direction, where the moon was rising. He would quietly stare on as it rose into the sky.

[Drake]

Drake would see the moon and watch.

"Damn good spot you've found here."

He would say with a nod.

[Djoser Aneksi]

Dj would giggle and offer Drake a drink.

"For you alone, please feel free to come back whenever you want."

[Drake]

Drake would accept the drink.

"Thank you."

[Djoser Aneksi]

"Thank you. I just embarrassed myself pretty bad and you are still hanging around."

[Drake]

"It'll take more than that to drive me away."

He would say turning to look at DJ.

"Besides, I respect you more for fighting for your convictions."

[Djoser Aneksi]

"It was hard, you are too pretty to get into it with."

He'd give a wink and an impish grin.

[Drake]

Drake would chuckle.

"Some would say I'm so pretty they want to get into it with me."

He would say wit ha wink.

[Djoser Aneksi]

"Then I guess hanging out with me is a fine change of pace." He'd say with a wry smile

Drake would chuckle.
