"Thirty-four...thirty-five...." Kaia counted out boredly as she leaned back against a building wall in an alleyway. A few feet from her were three young kids looking like they were struggling with push-ups.
"D-does this look right, Miss Kaia?" one of them would ask, his form completely garbage.
"Thirty-huh? Oh, yeah, sure. Looks great." she'd wave it off, then tsk.
"Ah fuck off, you made me lose my count. Now we gotta start back from thirty."
The kids would all groan in defeat, one by one plopping out of their push-ups and dropping on the ground exhausted.
"Hey! Who told you to quit?!" she'd snap...but all of them were too tired to really be scared of the consequences.
Kids here really weren't built like back home. Bunch of quitters. They asked her to show them cool moves, but you don't just learn cool moves while you're a twig! You earn that shit by getting beefed up. It's like they weren't....like they weren't even warriors. Just...street kids...
With a sigh through her nose, she'd cross her arms and look away.
"Fine, take a damn break."

"Who's asking?"
Can she get arrested for this? She doesn't know. She rarely left her apartment before.

Then she smiles like she wasn't just irritated as hell a second ago.

"Oh please. Hera was not my calling." she'd roll her eyes right back. The fact Adelaide had any knowledge about Olympus seemed to keep Kaia fairly calm, as a comment like that would have otherwise created a more aggressive response.
"What exactly would be noteworthy of doing around here, then? What exactly is an impressive feat?"
Was it nothing? She's pretty sure it's nothing.
