She scoffed as her arms crossed again. "Who trained you anyway? How are you so powerful at, what, 19? 20?"

"Orphan," she replied, her feet shifting uncomfortably. The phrase had a certain comical value to it, considering she was an orphan before. However, it was true in the sense that she lost a caretaker. "Though I was in the Ark when everything happened. Last thing I remember was on the roof."
It was pretty easy to see her eyes were lost in space as all the memories came back to her, viciously vivid. Flashes of the chains, of the man nearly being ripped apart, the dark skies. Her stomach became sick just thinking about it.
