History Information

History: 
Born as the youngest child and only daughter of a well respected, religious family, Leif grew up in oppression. Her parents and older brothers had high expectations of her, and she learned early on the consequences of not quite meeting them. Her father, the head of the household, was to be respected, no matter his decisions or their outcomes. Her brothers were unkind to her, to say the least. But on the outside... they were the picture perfect family. Nobody suspected what happened behind closed doors.

Cabal Academy was the perfect escape for the girl. She learned how to party, how to live it up. During the day, she excelled, and at night... she was the ideal party girl. She got lost in her dreamland and haze, and threw herself more and more into the seedy underbelly of her territory. She became known for something else entirely by the time she was sixteen: drugs, sex, and rock and roll. A single run-in with the law was all it took for her family to disown her entirely, to call her a failure.

When war came, Leif was one of the first to be thrown onto the front lines. What she saw and went through changed her, dramatically. She fought for her people for years upon years, never quite earning back the respect of her family. Her unit was sent on a dangerous mission at one point, and at the last moment, it seemed everybody in the group realized the purpose: they were supposed to die. Most fled... Leif did not. She carried on the fight, alone... and almost died for it.

They assumed her to be dead, in fact. They made no efforts to retrieve her body, and so she fled. The darkest disgrace she holds, to this day. She fled, and went into hiding. She left Cabal and began to travel, to see the different territories, to change her identity as much and as often as she could, in an effort to keep them from finding her. 

It wasn't until she was twenty-three that she realized... they weren't even looking for her.

Qi Abilities

Bioelectric Manipulation

Weaknesses: She cannot utilize her abilities when wet out of fear of electrocuting herself. Strong opposing magnetic forces make her own weapons turn against herself, and if she is not able to escape the situation quick enough, she will begin to take damage as her own bioelectrical field begins to turn inward. She will drain battery life of any technology or electrical devices around her, including her own.

Zero Ability: She can create electrical-magnetic bladed weapons. The entire length of the weapon is sharp enough to cut. Each blade does 75% of her energy stat in damage.

Bioelectric Shielding: Leif can utilize her own bioelectricity to create a shield around her body. It completely covers her entire body and absorbs damage equal to 100% of her energy stat. (20 Uses)

Leech Seed: Leif is able to create a specific, dart shaped bioelectrical weapon. Upon hitting an opponent, it "marks" them, and she is able to drain and absorb 15% of their energy stat. (20 Uses)

An Eye for an Eye: If Leif is in direct contact with another person (or anything attached to their Qi), she is able to spend a single Qi use to absorb one from her opponent. Their remaining Qi is reduced by one, and Leif gains one additional Qi use. (25 Uses)

Pulse: As long as Leif is in direct contact with a person, she is able to utilize her own bioelectricity to scramble an individual's static bioelectrical field, giving them a shock that bypasses any outer shield or buff. This, however, scrambles her own as well and makes it impossible for her to utilize any of her bioelectrical Qi based abilities for 2 posts. It deals 100% of her energy stat in Piercing Damage. (25 Uses)

Cauterizing Blade: Leif is able to summon a specific blade that stops any damage over time effects on herself or an ally, including but not limited to burns, bleeds, etc. (15 Uses)

Bolts: Instead of focusing her bioelectricity into a specific weapon, Leif is able to send her electricity out into the air, charging it enough to summon down a single lightning bolt against a singular target that does 100% of her energy stat in damage. If the target has been "marked" by any of her other abilities, the attack is unable to be dodged and does an additional 25% damage. (30 Uses)

Black gloves made of an unknown material. Twice per thread, Leif is able to summon a toxic cloud filled with a fast-acting, chemically altered version of Anthrax that effects any enemy within a 20 foot radius. It does 50% of Leif's energy stat in damage for four posts, causing shortness of breath, body aches, confusion, and cuts their defense stat by 20% as long as the cloud is active.

Black ring made of what almost looks like rusted metal. Twice per thread, Leif is able to add a toxic effect to any of her weapons, whether they be bioelectric or solid. This boosts the damage of her attack by 25% for four posts and adds a poison affect, doing an additional 25% of her energy stat as damage for three posts.
