She had mentioned Cabal in passing, but hadn't actually spoken of it in years. Not in depth. She was always paranoid, feeling like people would somehow know that she was a fugitive. She had, however, traveled through many places, never staying anywhere more than three days. Three days was just enough to get a basic understanding of the location, to learn about it, but never enough to really grasp what the places were like... or to get caught.

"I was born in Lightning Country. But my father was the King of Crimson Kingdom, so I ended moving there. But then I also apparently accidentally joined a Yakuza family while I was in Lightning and they requested me back and my father obliged. Soooo, if any of that answers your question. Then you know where I'm from better than me."
He shrugged.

"My home in Lightning Country was burned down, and I didn't really have a home when I was in Crimson Kingdom. So, I didn't have a home long before we lost our world."

"I kind of... reneged from Cabal, and spent a couple of years traveling. Went AWOL. But honestly, I'm not totally sure if Cabal was ever my 'home' either."

Leif couldn't disagree. She fetched a pack of smokes from the pocket of her jacket, pulling one free. Hesitating for a moment, she turned and offered him one.

Drake accepted it and nodded his thanks. He would look at the tip of the cigarette and his eyes would flash causing a spark to light it. He would take a hit and let out the smoke. "I don't doubt that. Can't really approve of training child soldiers." He shrugged.
Enhanced: These Ancient Seikatsugan originally capable of creating sigils of formulas in the air where they could see that each magic circle had different meanings and abilities. This was further increased with being able to see at great distances being able to zoom in on things at x20 zoom making things seem 20x closer than they actually are.

Leif lit her own the old fashioned way... She pulled out a Zippo lighter and struck it, before flipping it closed and putting it back into her pocket.
"Yeah, it was pretty fucked up... Didn't help that they allowed the kind of chauvinistic, abusive behavior that drove so many of those children soldiers to suicide. I'm pretty sure the military even encouraged it."
She chuckled darkly, giving a shake of her head, those blue eyes dull with memories.
