Yogurt Yoghurt Yogurte (Cecelia)

[Cillian McWolfe]

It wasn't long after their meeting that Cillian would be at the yogurt shop waiting outside for Cecelia to arrive, unsure if she ran home to change after work or not before getting this treat with him.  He was still wearing the same outfit as before, not actually owning anything that was really monochromatic anyway.  He liked color, and life, it was just part of who he was.

There was enough time for Cecelia to go home and change into something a little more familiar and comfortable, the oversized sweater a cozy touch for the walk back to the frozen yogurt shop. She'd run the conversation she'd had a few times in her head and resigned to the fact that nothing more could be done on the matter. And besides, it had been some time since she'd had a chance to catch up with a friend. Most of the people around town either didn't know her or wanted to talk about the issues that had come up in the city, like the riot. Things she'd rather not dwell on if she could help it. After all, she lived in the apartments.

"Hello again." She smiled and made her way over to Cillian as she caught sight of him. "I hope you weren't waiting too long."

He flashed a brilliant smile at her as he caught site of the familiar form heading his way. "Not at all, maybe a minute or two." He'd say with a quick wink, opening the door for her, following her in. "So how was work? Busy day?"

[Cecelia Riddel]

Just a tad late, perhaps fashionably so. Cecelia smiled and nodded, entering the shop and reacquainting herself with the cheerful colors before turning her face towards him.

"It's been going well. Today was a bit slow since we're in a quiet period." She chuckled. "I was warned to enjoy it while I could before February comes around.

"What about you? It sounds like you're probably quite busy."

"Yeah, mid Feburary is your busy season right? All of the happy couples."

It was cute, he kind of liked that they had holidays for love. It was charming.

"Things are going pretty well actually. I finally nailed the bird trick with Clarence. I'm super proud of how calm and brave he is now. It took a lot of time to train him. And things are going well at the gym too. A couple of the regulars are showing some marked improvement. Especially with footwork and the fundamentals."

Super important stuff.

"Are you still gardening? That's gotten be rough in winter, I've never had much of a green thumb myself." He'd chuckle as he took his place in line, already knowing what he wanted.

[Cecelia Riddel]

"Indeed." She nodded, looking over the menu as she debated between her usual sweet tooth flavor or something new. "Some of them have already put in orders so they can be ready that day." It was draining, but refreshing, too. And she couldn't help but smile at the memory of some of the customers stressing, wanting something different or what they think the other person would like.

"That's wonderful." She joined him shortly after, settling on her choice. "I'm glad they're improving; they're quite fortunate to have you helping them." She imagined it was a bonus to learn from someone that friendly and patient, though Cecelia would never know for herself. She never set foot inside a gym, certainly not for sparring.

"It's true, the ground's rather frozen this time of year, but that doesn't mean we can't plan ahead of time. I've considered opening a group of sorts, for anyone interested once it starts to warm up. That way others can join in if they like." Meta or otherwise, it seemed like a good chance to help them work together beyond an academy setting if they desired. And a chance to contribute to the city they called home.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"That would be nice. I wonder if you'd be able to get the Apartments to let you put a small greenhouse or something up on the roof. Like a community thing."

[Cecelia Riddel]

"It's what I'm hoping for." She nodded, her smile warming as he caught on to the idea. "I still need to work out some of the details and approvals, but that's paperwork." As in, more than easy enough for her to handle.

"The biggest issue right now is funding." She remembered times when that would be the least of her problems, where she could have started the project already and have her family's name attached to it. Now it was something that would take months, if not years.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Yeah? I imagine so. Do you have any idea how much you might need? I'd be willing to talk to the others and see if we can get a donation box up in the gym. Something for people to help give back to the community and try and do this grassroots style."

It was a thought, it wasn't like he had access to his resources back home, and with having to care for Fenrir he had to work a couple of jobs already. Still, he'd like to help out if he could. Even if it was just a little bit.

[Cecelia Riddel]

"Really? Thank you, Cillian." Again her expression warmed; it was good to hear someone other than herself agreeing with the project, let alone offer to help. She'd mentioned it in passing a few times to gauge people's interest, and while they had seemed interested, that had been the end of it. She rattled off how much she still needed to get the project off the ground, a couple thousand when all was said and done.

"I've been saving some on my own, so there's a small start. It's my hope that some of the others living in the apartments might be interested in helping, as well."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Of course. I can't promise the gym will be able to raise it on it's own. But many hands make light lifting."

He'd grin as he stepped forward as their turn in line came up, glancing back down to Ceceilia he'd grab his wallet.

"Have you decided what you'd like?"

[Cecelia Riddel]

"Of course not. Still, any help is appreciated." She wouldn't let it all fall on any one person, but she hoped that, if nothing else, word could spread to those who were interested she wouldn't otherwise run in to.

"Mmm, I believe so. I want to try something new today. What about you?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"I'm going to go for the Banana Bread Batter. It sounds super good today. But you get whatever sounds good to you. I'm excited for the chance to catch up with you."

[Cecelia Riddel]

"Oh, that sounds nice. I'm going to try the white chocolate strawberry." She nodded.

"I'm glad we ran into each other. How have you been?" Aside from busy. He seemed just as full of life and energy as usual.

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian would place both of their orders, handing over the money and putting his wallet away.

"I've been doing well, just busy. Still working both jobs, and picked up some side gigs doing birthday parties for kids to make a little extra money. Thankfully the big boss gave me the go ahead on it. I can even keep using my stage name, not that I'm expecting birthday parties to drive up sales for the theater."

He'd say with a sheepish grin.

"But it's not a bad thing, I like keeping busy. But hey, you don't have to do this thing where you are the perfect lady and hostess. Tell me about you? What's going on? Any cute boys catch your eye yet? Things with the family doing alright?"
