Visiting Prota? (Daniel, Nova)

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would drink some more before responding.

"Been thinking about that honestly. You have no reason to. I don't know you and you don't know me. I don't know if you care for Meta's and how our lives are hard enough here, you have no reason to help make it better before it becomes an extermination thing. I won't say there is no risk involved, because there is. I can however say we won't be blamed by TSI. The only thing I can say is I need your help, and so do all the Meta's in this city."

A little dramatic, but he has seen it before. It was a matter of time, and if they said no, he'd simply have to move to the next group he could find.

[Gunslinger]

Daniel leans back in his chair, crossing his arms. It's pretty clear he's considering it seriously.

"...I can't make this decision by myself. It's as much up to Nova as me. But I will say that we've carefully stayed out of trouble, so far."

He sighs through his nose.

"Would you have helped us, if we'd come to you first?"

[Novocaine]

Nova would nod in agreement to the 'staying out of trouble' part.

"Also would you foresee this impacting our business? Or are identities going to be protected for the most part?"

They'd just really started getting this place going...with future plans in the works. It would make for a harder decision if they had to leave everything behind. Though by the sounds of it, that might have to happen anyway.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would shake his head.

"In our world, I would of helped you to find a weakness I could exploit the next time we may have to go to war with Prota. But, here, in this world. I would drop everything to help anyone from our world if their needs were righteous."

He'd look at Nova then and stare.

"That's part of the risk. We'd be able to hide our identities to the best of our ability, but I can not predict with a hundred percent accuracy that you won't be found out by these organizations. This is basically a black op, if we fail TSI will deny everything about us being involved with them."

[Gunslinger]

“Righteous...”

Daniel snorts again.

“As it stands, I respect your honesty. And with that in mind, what do you consider your chances are of victory, with and without us?”

[Novocaine]

Nova would cross her arms, giving a wry frown. Disguises and such shouldn't be that hard. Her ears are just a big giveaway so something to cover those would be necessary.

The idea of losing what they'd worked so hard for was troubling.

[Sage Sudeki]

"The Droogs are a near complete unknown to me, but with how much difficulty I had with the Nald Group I don't place my chances very high without help. By the time I'm strong enough to take them on or can train others to be on par, I'm not sure I will be on time to stop the worst of it."

He'd then gesture at the two of them.

"But, at the same time you both are only slightly familiar to me since I know you have battle forms and are competent in battle. Otherwise you are both unknowns to me. I don't want to rely on the crew my cousin has gathered either. They are as likely to get me killed as to complete the mission."

[Gunslinger]

"You're not exactly filing me with confidence."

Daniel chuckles softly, shaking his head. He slowly turns his head to look at Nova, then shrugs.

"...well. If you want to, then I don't see why we shouldn't."

[Novocaine]

"It sounds like one way or another our simple life was going to be interrupted." Nova sighs.

"I'm fine with helping. I don't think it sits well with me that they're trafficking kids, either."

Even if they weren't the first priority.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would take another drink and he would bow his head deeply.

"Thank you for agreeing to help."

Lifting upright he would smile wide.

"My name is Sage Sudeki. I am a dual swordsman and have the power to control my aura and it's output, as well as a user of my bloodline."

[Gunslinger]

Daniel nods along. The kids part did bother him, but it seemed like that wasn't what they were going to deal with right away anyway.

"Daniel Makaila. I specialize in guns."

No elaboration.

[Novocaine]

"Sudeki, a name that refuses to die." Nova chuckles. There sure wasn't a lack of them in the new world.

"Nova Vivienne, I can control threads and I of course have the Vivienne bloodline."

[Sage Sudeki]

"We are a hardy family." Spike would share in the joke. Though it wasn't without the sadder history of those they'd lost.

"Now I would propose a kind of... Test mission to see how well we work together. I have the location of a few warehouses where the Nald Group had been holding children. I don't suspect they will still be using it after the last encounter, but if we can check them and get clues we can strike as a team. Otherwise, we could just fight and use everything we have to see and plan our teamwork."

[Gunslinger]

"Typically, I do my best in the field. Haven't really... gotten along with other territories, in social settings."

Daniel admits, shrugging.

"However, if we do fight and use everything we have... it could possibly end up injuring one of us before any actual missions."

[Novocaine]

"I prefer a little recon first." Nova admits. Her style has always been a bit stealthier so going in guns blazing was usually left to Daniel.
