The sun was shining and the Marketplace was bustling. People were laughing as they moved back and forth between the different kiosks and shops. It was just another day in Palisade City. Despite the tensions between Metas and Normies, they were milling about with each other in relative peace, for once.

The mist started slowly, and could easily be explained away by the ocean that bordered the city. It wasn’t until it began to cling to the buildings and people’s clothes that anyone really started to notice. It rolled through the streets like a living creature, in waves, until it covered the ground, so thick it made it difficult to see. The sky began to darken, slowly at first as well, like clouds moving in to cover the sun. All at once, it became dark, like night. Between the shadows and the mist, people were beginning to move slower, and panic was suddenly heavy on the minds of the crowd. Customers exited the shops, making their ways onto the streets, and a general murmur swept through everyone: what was this? What was happening?

The sounds of chains rattling began to fill the streets, but no one seemed to be able to tell where it was coming from.

[Drake]

Drake would be walking around intending to go see his Uncle when things took a turn for the weird... Something dangerous was happening. Not one to be caught off guard Drake unsheathed his sword and began to look around...

[Avice Locke]

Avice checked her own weapons to see if they were active. She had yet to use the one specifically she thought about but she looked about the area and examined everything before making another step. Her guard was up as if it was the hair on a beasts neck

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike didn't really feel like going out to the market, but he wanted to make some fresh blt's. The overcast was something he was trying to beat home, but when the rattling chains accompanied the odd fog in the market, he couldn't help but feel like something was up. Gripping the handle to his crystal sword he got ready, the people in the streets saw this as heavily unusual as well, so it was time to be on alert.

[Cain Rhamos]

"I swear to God, if it's those fucking twins...!"

Cain stops where he is, in the middle of the market. The mist and shadows made it difficult to tell where the chains were coming from, but obviously this wasn't going to be pleasant.

He looks around, trying to determine where the threat may be coming from, while stepping to the side so that he's not completely exposed.

[Kaia Galanos]

Kaia was already out on the streets as the light slowly faded. She looks up at that sky with narrowed eyes before glancing around at the sound of chains. Since they weren't immediately visible, Kaia would look for any other unusual things.

[Fell]

The sounds of chains rattling and dragging against the ground grew louder and louder, until suddenly, three chains seemed to randomly appeared in the sky, all from the same spot. As they wiggled through the air in tandem with each other, a loud RIPPING sound filled the Marketplace! The chains ripped what appeared to be a portal in the sky. Only darkness was visible inside, until a large Hellhound fell from the sky, landing with a thud on the ground. It stood at almost five feet tall, baring its fangs, a thick, toxic green mucous falling from its jowls.

It snarled at the nearby people, slowly beginning to stalk through the streets, and more of the same creature began to fall in through the portal after it. They all snarled, one turning on a nearby human and snatching it up in its jaws! In one bite, it snapped the man's spine, shaking it from side to side like a chew toy.

The others began to quiver before turning and attacking nearby people!

[Drake]

Drake would leap forward to the closest one attempting to slice it clean in half!

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would draw his blade and hop onto a car.

"Everyone get together! Get inside a building!"

The plan would be to defend the building.

[Cain Rhamos]

Cain backs up between two merchant stalls, or to an alley, whichever would place him out of sight briefly.

Then, the moment one of the Hellhounds came close, he would sprint out, aiming to dropkick it in the side, right in the exposed ribs!

“Chains?” Avice deduced and felt an odd sense of wonder if it was a similar ability as what brought them here. She feared she was facing another danger to their world as if who ever brought them here was back already and she knew have wasn’t ready. Still she would head to the portal instead of stop the wolves. She had a mind to either cut the danger off at its source or at least see what it entailed.

The gem in her neck flickered to life and the cry of a fox could be heard through her body as tritails spirit was stirred and encapsulated Avice in a protective armor and if anything got in her way Avice brought tritails claws to bare at them firm.

These boots can ignite into a hellish blue flame representative of her negative emotion. They can propel her like jets at the speed of her energy plus her speed stat for four posts, adding half that momentum to her Atk while being propelled. These boots are not removable, Avice is extra susceptible to hot weather effects doubling them. For now.Add-On: "Good Job!" Button: +1 Atk +2 Def, This button is a gift from Raikotsu Sudeki in recognition of her hard work during the attack. To a max of +5, every time Avice receives praise in a thread she gets +1 Def.

The crystal holds the battle armor of Tritails a three-tailed Alpha Qi Beast Avice defeated. Gives access to Tritail's powers and battle armor. Avice can maintain the Battle Armor of Tritails for 3 posts at Lvl 1.
-Energy Claws: While in Tritails battle form Avice is able to use Tritails Energy Nails like slashing blades shooting slashing beams of energy doing her energy in damage +25%.

[Kaia Galanos]

Upon hearing someone gathering people in a building, Kaia would whistle loudly.

The thumping of one big boi would be heard, and Kaia would hop on the back of the basilisk once it made it to the scene.

"I'll hold 'em back!"

She'd remain near the building, watching for people to head on in while attempting to keep the beasts at bay. Nem fires a spine at the closest one and if the spine lands, Kaia would follow-up with a punch to its head!

Lightning Rod: The Basilisk can fire a spine at a target (Spot or person/thing) and stick the spine into it. The next Qi attack aimed at the target is drawn to the spine like a lightning rod, even if it's a physical attack making it that much harder to dodge. (Target must have x2 the speed of the incoming attack to dodge) If the target has a Levin Mark the target can not dodge the incoming attack as the attraction is too strong. The spine then explodes doing 75 dmg.

[Fell]

Drake managed to attack one of the Hellhounds, but at the last moment, it turned and grabbed ahold of his blade in its mouth. It snarled at him and ripped its head to one side, attempting to disarm him.

Sage managed to get on top of a car, and it seemed almost as if the Hellhounds were ignoring him completely. They continued to chase down the pedestrians in the streets, their focus seeming to be on things at or right around eye level.

Cain managed to successfully attack the Hellhound, sending it flying. It let out a terrible noise, something between a whine and a yelp, before it collapsed, obviously broken and defeated. However, as soon as it went down, there was another Hound just behind Cain. It roared, leaping forward in an attempt to grab his leg between its teeth.

A group of three Hellhounds moved intentionally between Avice and the portal, standing shoulder to shoulder and opening their jaws wide to show her long, razor sharp fangs. They roared together before the middle one jumped at Avice, aiming obviously for her shoulder.

Kaia’s attack combo managed to land on one of the Hellhounds. It was pinned to the ground just in time for her to punch it, and it fell with a yelp.

More Hellhounds were pouring from the rip, and the chains continued to wiggle through the air.

"Oh! We're playing that game, eh?!"

Drake would yell as he gripped his sword tight using his free hand to punch the hound in the head!

[Avice Locke]

She roared back showing her own fangs and as one came for her she would slip a bit to it’s side and slide her claws through it from jaw to rear. But if her attack landed she’d keep going to test her strength on a chain to see if she may be able to destroy it as well.
