Shiloh looked up at her friend as she stood and sighed softly. She knew this was coming... the anger, the hatred... she knew, deep in her soul, that this was exactly how she would respond. It didn't make it any easier. So she just kept talking.
"I... I lived with my parents in this country, and we were building a life for ourselves, there. And one day, I just... woke up here. I didn't know where here was, or what was even going on. The nuns kept telling me my parents were dead, or that they had... dropped me off there. Left me. Saying that my memories were just... stories... and they never really found out about my Qi..."

So many thoughts were running through her head the hurt was so much it infected every part of her being... she couldn't speak so she just continued to pace in a pained silence...

She said barely audible...
"Like, How could you keep this from me? ME! Of all people... Didn't you... I thought you trusted me? You should know that- Don't you realize how much you mean to me?! I L-"
She cut herself off as the tears started to fall. She turned her back to Shiloh again.
"If you had just told me from the start... If you had just... trusted me then..."
She shook her head.
"I-I can't. I can't do this. I'm sorry."
Adelaide would start to leave, leaving everything right where it was she just started to walk away.

Shiloh jumped up, then, and moved to chase after her, reaching out to try to grab her hand.
"Adel, please! It isn't like that! It's not that I don't trust you. That's why I'm telling you now. Please... please don't leave me."

Adelaide would let Shiloh grab her hand and then yank it back as she started crying.
"I-I can't right now I need to think. I just..."
With that she couldn't speak anymore and she would just start running.

Shiloh watched her friend, her very best friend, run away from her, and her own tears started. She crouched where she was, letting her go, and curled up around herself, her heart broken.
