Mathew watched the guy with a smirk as he sprinted at him. His hand reaching for his mace, deftly swinging it upward as the mace morphed into a sword. Though he'd not strike back, Cain still hadn't gotten in his blow.

Cain's attack is deflected, and he pauses for a moment. "...you didn't use yours." It's not a question he was asked, but it's the answer he's giving. Cain suddenly drives his sword downwards! ----------------------

This time Mathew would just reach up to grab the blade as it came down with his hand, a thin layer of stone coating his skin as he let out a yawn. "This is how you took out something that killed the Major Gods?"
It was hard to tell if Mathew sounded more disappointed, or doubtful. But it was a healthy mix of both so far.

Level 7 - Alchemize - Mathew can combine two of his abilities with Alchemize to create a single new ability. (Can not surpass 125% Energy, Using Alchemize with two other abilities only uses 1 use through Alchemize its self)

"Well... no... I admittedly had help." He's not going to lie about it. But, obviously, he wasn't in danger of accidentally killing this man. Cain goes to jump up, putting his weight behind his now-glowing blade to try and stab it downwards, through the man's grip towards his shoulder! -----------------------------------

Once per thread Cain may activate the ability of the blade locking off one Qi, item, or other special ability that the character has for the thread as he rends the very soul of his enemy as the blade strikes them. - Sealing Mathew's belt item! |

Mathew's grip would tighten on the sword, he had to put a bit more effort into it this time, but he was still going to count it as Cain hadn't gotten in a blow yet. Even though he had felt something change within his own energy. A clever trick, but if this was the best the guy had then he still had a long ways to go.

Cain grits his teeth, pushing the blade down as much as he can. "I don't... care... if you aren't then I won't!" He kicks his foot as Mathew's chest, less of an attack and more of trying to push himself away from him and retrieve his sword! ----------------------

And with that he'd release his hand to let Cain kick off of him with his blade, cracking his neck on both sides before a familiar energy surrounded him. The God Right of Ares, God of War.

Mathew is capable of activating his "God Right" as Ares. Those near by who recognize him as such gain +5 Atk for 3 posts
