Emily strode along the shores. It was a pretty nice evening: she got more aquainted with a new friend and ate crabs they caught together. It was ... actually more fun that she thought.
Speaking of fun, where was that fun-loving brother of hers? It's been a while since he came home. Was he able to find a job and a place to stay already? Well, it should be all good - but he could've bothered to call even just once on those nights.
...
Maybe he was sleeping with his hooker or something. Who cares?

Rem had been training, his body slowly but surely regaining its flexibility and strength. The beach had been his refuge, since everyone felt it necessary to be left alone within their own little cliques. No one bothered him, save for the odd, few times a stray beach or volley ball would make its way to his location. He'd always throw it back with a smile, but swore beneath his breath for the interruption to his training.

This place sure was quiet at this time of night. All Emily wanted to do right now was go home and try to see if Rem was there. Maybe ask a few questions about where he was. Well, not until she saw a familiar shadow on the horizon and figured - yup, that was him.
"... Rem?" She asked, her head tilted to the left.

He'd been laying on the sand, sweating profusely from his long hours of training, when he heard a familiar voice. Rem's body screamed with soreness, as was to be expected with continuous physical exercise, so he didn't even bother turning to see who it was. "Yo, sis..."

Emily rushed to stand at her brothers side, her hands at her hips - obviously a little curious about his disappearance. "...So you've been here all along for the past two weeks and you've not even given me a single call?"
Shame on him.
Well, Emily said so much... and sounded so worried - if Rem knew better, it sounded as if she was more out of character! Well, Emily had tons of changes while he was away. Tons of them...

Rem couldn't believe his ears. If he didn't know better, he'd have thought that she sounded...worried? He couldn't help but grin at her. "Well, it'd be hard for me to do so considering I was hospitalized and recovering from a near death experience during that time."

Emily frowned. What? Near death?! Nani?! "Oy! What... happened, exactly?"
Emily KNEW her brother was strong, well.. more than she was. She was definitely not so sure why he got owned. How did this happened, "Who did it to you?" Was the question that came out of her mouth as well.

"Mmm... I guess I'm not gonna- ... Girlfriend?" She blinked, "... Girlfriend?"
She began tapping her foot, her eyes trying to squint into a smaller one despite her hispanic eyes. "Rem... you got... a girlfriend that quickly...? You've not really changed much."

"I bet you're staying at her place now eh?" Emily asked, sitting on the sand beside her brother. Well, a day of crazy, hyper converstation made her yearn for a decent, untiring one, so yeah. This was the time for one.
