Leif sighed softly. Five years was quite a bit of time, and if she were being honest, she didn't understand why the girl would hide it for so long... but she also couldn't judge her.
"Do you love her?" She asked suddenly.

Adelaide tighten into a tighter ball upon hearing Leif's suggestions, she know that the woman was right... but...

And she couldn't answer as the tears started to well up in her eyes again.

Leif simply held the girl, letting her cry. She kept her face pressed against her shoulder and sighed softly.
A broken heart hurt the worst.
