"Is there anything I need to know about this place? What's expected of me?" She assumed she'd have to live in some form of dormitory rather than the Apartments, for once.

He would say simply.
"Other than that all I ask is you respect your teachers and fellow students, and of course, be mindful that there are young and impressionable minds here."

"Of course." She'd been around younger clansmen before, whatever he thought of her ability to remain composed and in check. The mage wasn't sure how she felt about moving or not, deciding to leave that decision for later.

"Of course, after this short interrogation of mine, I think you will be a wonderful addition to this school and we would be lucky to have you. If you give me till tomorrow I will have the necessary paperwork for you to do assessments to see what classes you will be put in."
He would say as he stood up. He would hold out his hand for a handshake.
"Welcome to the Xapham Institute of Revelations, Miss Salabim."

"Of course. I can be here first thing in the morning." She set the tea cup down on a coast if there was one nearby and stood, hesitating a moment on the handshake as she almost gave him a small bow, instead, to mark his status. Catching herself before she could finish the gesture, she reached out her hand with a steady grip but delicate shake.
"Thank you, Professor Xapham."

"See you then." With that, Avalon would leave Xapham to his grading, leaving his office and shutting the door behind her as silently as she could. Tomorrow looked to be like a new start, hopefully for the better.
