Personality:

Troy is usually something of a loner, even among those who call him friend or family. Yet, despite the serious look almost everpresent on his face, Troy has a humorous side, one that is often both at his own expense as well as those around him. Some of his observations seem to come from nowhere, and often have nothing to do with what’s going on around him, others are tangentially related.

In either case, he enjoys seeing people’s reactions, good or bad.

History:

Troy’s younger years, as one might expect, were somewhat typical. In fact, up until high school, he was a bit of a jock to be stereotypical, playing football, boxing, wrestling…

Then, the moment he hit his early teens, everything changed. Troy fell in with the wrong crowd, skipping class, underage drinking, and excessive amounts of illegal drugs. Unfortunately, this meant that Troy was quickly racking up horrendous debt in order to pay for his habit, causing him to have to do “favors” in order to continue on. These favors became more and more extreme, and soon it was obvious he was going to be jailbound for the rest of his life.

But then, something happened.

While he was in the process of stealing a car, a young woman approached him. She seemed to be able to see past his actions, telling him that he deserved better. Unable to help himself, Troy told her of his addictions, and with a simple touch, he found that he was cured. He was overjoyed, but feared that he was still in too deep with those he was indebted to, but the woman, who explained her name was Claire, waved it off. He could join her family, and they would take care of him.

Troy eagerly accepted, and from then on, he has protected and worked with Claire as often as humanly possible.

Troy’s full potential mainly comes from time. Given enough time, he can fully empower himself, as well as charge his most devastating abilities. As such, he is most effective when having someone else “tank” for him at the beginning of battle. Troy is forced to wear clothes that stretch, as his Qi causes rapid growth of his body.

It's technique of creation lost to history, but in this time of Qi and hand-to-hand combat it's usefulness has become far more prevalent.
