What... (Atlas)

[Adelaide]

Adelaide would be sitting on the beach staring at her hands... how... how did she... did that mean SHE was a Meta now? She had no idea what she was going to do.

[Atlas Steele]

"AHAHAHA!" A man wearing a t-shirt printed with the text 'Fishing with your fists!' and swimming trunks would shout, walking up to the person that was clearly sitting in shock before placing his palms on his sides before then continuing his laughter.

"Do not worry! For the masked Steele, Wrestling expert and... well... " As he slumped his head downwards, sobbing audibly for a moment onto his bare arm not covered by the t-shirt his short sleeves. "Why is everybody here so bloody strong... After being greeted by a criminal that leaves pugs with laser eyes everywhere, I am out of my element."

Before finishing his entire little rant, he would turn to the person. "Do you have something you wish to vent about? It is rather easy to share what is on your mind! Atlas Steele is here to carry your burdens, young upcoming star!"

[Adelaide]

Adelaide blinked.

"Who the *beep* are you?"

Her eyes went wide.

"What the *beep*?! Oh *beep* no!"

She fumed as she stared at her new shirt.

Slowly taking out a small bell from his pocket, a small one with a decent enough tune, Atlas would start to shake it a few times before groaning at the person.
The ringing of the bell just loud enough to draw attention before talking over it himself.

"Okay, First, No swearing young lady, there are other things you can put your energy into other things besides swearing, now what is actually wrong with you." He would proclaim, pointing his large finger towards her.

"Usually when there is a person moping to themselves on the beach as if they came from a bad break up, there is a story hidden behind it.
And with you being such a strong person." He noted, pointing towards their knuckles. "Surely you got something to say, so why not to the old man who can't fight back anymore?"

[Adelaide]

Adelaide raised a fuming eyebrow.

"Well, first of all I got this shirt the other day and now I can't *beep* curse without being *beep* censored. So, ya know, thats some bull*beep* ugh. *beep*."

She took a long deep breath.

"As for the other thing, apparently I'm... a Meta?"

[Atlas Steele]

Noticing that Atlas was making progress in this, as she started to talk, he would give a look of surprise when she mentioned the fact that she couldn't swear. "Oh, that's never nice, ain't it?" He spoke, as he nodded understandingly with his own fair share of swears heard in the ring one day.

"But, you are apparently a meta, what's wrong with that?" He genuinely asked, before bringing his own hand up to the back of his own head, scratching it. "I've heard a few stories of people with powers, Surely being able to be given a chance to change the world should be something you should be excited about? To have the power to fight for your own dreams?"

Yet as Atlas spoke this, for a moment he looked at his own clutched fist before taking a deep breath, mumbling quietly to himself about how he was quite jealous that at his own age he couldn't mean much himself anymore.

[Adelaide]

"But... I'm from this world. My dad is the leader of the TSI, I... I can't be a Meta, that's not possible."

She stared at her hand.

"And yet..."

She made a fist and then opened her hand and a black orb of darkness would appear inside her hand!

mbral Creations: Adelaide is able to user her Qi to manifest Dark energy, which she can use to create weapons and items.

[Atlas Steele]

"An orb of darkness?" Atlas would proclaim, confused at first before giving a delighted tone towards all this as he would nod contently.

"So, you gained an ability that is beyond a normal person, and now you think that because your dad is part of this TMI faction you are going to cause problems?" As he would laugh with a loud and rather jolly tone, as if nothing could keep his spirit down.

"Listen, if you get an ability and somebody wants to hurt you, then you simply come to me and I will protect anybody that needs it, okay? There is a reason why you got those powers, surely there is." He then continued, before pointing at his own heart.

"You just gotta find the reason you got these abilities and fullfill your destiny instead of being dragged down by it!"

[Adelaide]

Adelaide just blinked slowly. Really slowly.

"What the *beep*?"

She had no idea what he was trying to say, but that was some weird ass, Video Game, talk to the Main character to give them a boost, kinda bs...

[Atlas Steele]

"You may be confused and look weirded out, But am I wrong?" He would proclaim with a smile. Whacking his own torso as he would then point towards the mass of water near the beach, the sea itself as he would nod a few times.

"One of my friends lost her family on that wide sea, She was crying and complaining for months... She grew up spiteful and yet after confronting her own issues... She grew up to be a stronger person."

Before then reaching his hand outwards to the woman still sitting at the beach. "If you need a punching bag, Beat me up until I am almost dead, If you need somebody to listen to your complaints, swear to me as much as you want."

Making sure to nod a few times tenderly with a kind smile, "It is why I've gotten myself in more trouble than I wish to admit!"

(OOC: You're good I think I forgot to tag you so I'm also to blame, but with my work schedule its tough to be overly attentive atm)

Adelaide would just tilt her head and raise an eyebrow.

"Why would I want to beat you up? Like legit, that ain't how I roll."

[Atlas Steele]

"Well, I've been going into the city, and while selling fruits, meat and other supplies to the slums... Some other men came up and punch me in the face!" He would comment, before lifting his mask up slightly, showing some bandages that were stuck underneath before sliding it back down to prevent her from seeing too much.

"Honestly, I think that they have some issues that they need a punching bag to resolve, but it is at least something I can do to help the kids with to keep them smiling..." As his posture seemed... Smaller somehow, which meant a lot for the giant of a man that he was in general before sighing loudly.

Turning back towards Adelaide, he would have a split second moment of deep sorrow in his eyes, before cheering back up, as if he was once again trying to be the cheery giant of a man that supported everybody. "How do you roll then? You a skater, or a heroine?" He would comment, doing a few jabs with each word before then holding out a fist awkwardly, as if he was trying to get a fist bump.

Did the giant of a man think that people still did fist bumps publically?

"I do skate. But drugs ain't my thing. Guy, especially not heroine. The *Beep* is wrong with you?"

She REALLY was hating this censor bar. If it weren't for this creepy old dude she'd probably just take it off.

[Atlas Steele]

"Drugs?" The giant of a man would ask, looking confused before then thinking to himself. looking for a moment at her like she said the weirdest and most out of place thing.

"What do you mean drugs? Who in the seven hells would use any kind of drugs?!" He spoke, before taking a step backward, before taking out his flip phone, gritting his teeth as he tried to look it all up before giving up with his shoddy internet plan on his phone.

"Please, Explain, What word is a drug, which word out of my explanation did you misunderstand?" As he would start frowning... Maybe this person was a drug addict in hiding...?

His kind attitude starting to take a turn as he would remember the eyes of the wrestlers that he had once fought that collapsed into drug use when their fans had started believing in somebody that would collapse in on themselves just from a lack of their daily dosage, it was a horrid nature as he remembers carrying one of his fellow wrestlers with a cloak over his body into the backroom after barely scoring a win, covering his face as his skin was starting to flake...

Atlas his frown behind his mask becoming one of sorrow as a single tear ran down the side of his cheek.

[Adelaide]

"Heroine, my dude. That's a drug, a real nasty one at that. You see it most in TV shows and movies, but the *beep* that's actually on the streets... that's some *beep* up *beep*."

She said with a shrug.
