She seems to respond better to that, sitting there quietly for a bit as she considered her thoughts.
"I don't know what to do." she admits, speaking a bit more softly.
"Every time I try to remember who I am I feel like it's a weak fire that blows out immediately. I can't find that place in me that cared."

He nods, still frowning.
"Maybe you just need time. A breather, kinda. But you're still the same woman I know. Even if you forget it for a bit, I know she's still in there."

She exhales a humourless laugh through her nose.
"Maybe..."
It's hard to tell which part she was saying that to.
"But I'm back home. That's a good enough start."
Despite it being the ruined leftovers, it was still her own world. Everything she thought she lost could likely return.

"So far, what I've got is going to the Fates to figure out how to rebuild. You'd be surprised how little guidance I've been getting from the elder Gods, so far."
