Mike walked slowly along the beach, Staring out at the waves.
It had been a really draining day, first day at a new school, never an easy thing. To make things worse , EVERYTHING was different here , new home, new city. The little bubble of security he had called home was gone, or to be more accurate , he had been pushed out of it. He understood why his parents had done it, he'd had bad grades , no friends, no future back home.
Still , it didnt make it any easier.
He looked out over the ocean again, sun was gonna go down in a few minutes. With a sigh he walked up the beach to the sidewalk and sat down , starting out at the water. He looked around, no one nearby, good. He hated meeting people , it always made him really uncomfortable. Years of getting picked on and made fun of at school had made him extreamly introverted.
Yet, he was always incredibly lonely, he needed someone to talk to, someone he could trust. But he'd never met anyone who fit that role.
As he watched the sun set, he sighed again. Thinking like this would only make him depressed. But what could he do? Rather ironic, he thought, here i am, and my two biggest problems are Loneliness , and Not being able to talk to anyone. If he didnt have one of them , the other would have resolved itself by now.
He tried to think about somthing else, if he kept on this line of though, he just might turn emo. That thought brought a mental image of himself in black with his hair dyed black and hanging over his eyes. That almost made him laugh out loud.
He leaned back , listening to the waves and watching the reflection of the setting sun on the water. It was relaxing out here at least. He should probably come out here more often.
