Monthly Event Informational Thread!

Woooo! Okay.

The monthly events, as you all know are meant for you the players to have fun with my ideas, or each other's ideas.

-There will always be a monthly event for people to participate in IC.

-There will sometimes be a monthly event for people to participate in OOC.

The rewards for participation in a monthly event are minimal to moderate. Because I won't step onto the quest's GIGANTIC CLOWN SHOES!!!!11!!11!!!ONE!

This means that there may be prizes for contests! Rewards for your own personal growth as a player and member of the community. And sometimes a cash prize that can go towards one's customized items!

Prizes may include:
-Random useless junk.
-Random useful junk.
-Items with minimal stat gain.
-CASH $$$$$$$$MONEY SIGN$$$$$$

Rewards for personal growth may include:
-Minimal XP gain. (+1, +2.)
-MONIES
-Random trophy's of personal gain.

All members are allowed to submit whatever ideas they have for a monthly event to myself.

Halloween Horror Show

Location: School

Event type: Mini-mission.

Description: Unfortunately for the student body, the night of mayhem and mischief landed on a school day. This means that most of the student body would be inside the school while the horror show begins. A young pyromaniac enters the school through a window after trapping all the exits with fire bombs. If the doors happen to open, a fire bomb would go off, setting that exit on fire. If a window is opened, or broken a fire bomb would go off, setting off the other fire bombs on the windows near it. (If it's a classroom, all the window bombs would go off, and that half of the room will be impassable.)

Objectives

Primary: Escape!
Secondary: Defeat the Pyromaniac.
Secondary: Disable the remote detonator. (Smash it)

Rewards

Completing Primary Objective: +2 Dex
Completing Secondary Objective 1: Pyros' Items & +2 Con
Completing Secondary Objective 2: +3 Wis.

Some new rules, Effective Immediately.

Because the events take so long, some new rules are being placed.

1: There can be more then one monthly event, if a moderator so chooses to make one.

2: If 2 events are happening at the same time, you can only be in ONE.

3: You can join a maximum of 2 events per month. I will be keeping track.

4: Events will close randomly so, jump on board while you can! You never know- the higher the reward, the shorter amount of time you may have to post! (Should help speed things along)

5: If an event is shut down and your in the middle of a post for it, send your post via PM to a moderator within 24 hours and you'll get credit.
