Lend me your ears. You all know me, I hate over item owning, lending, among other things I hate item whores. So I was thinking about implimenting an Item slot system, type, thing, yeah. Anyways, once all your item slots are filled and you still participate in a quest, but you can't get anymore items, we can work out an extra EXP deal. But thats about it. So without further adue I bring you. Head: 1: 2: 3: Torso: 1: 2: 3: Arms: 1: 2: 3: 4: Legs: 1: 2: 3: 4: Misc: 1: 2: Arms and Legs would also represent hands fingers, feet, stuff like that, thats why they have 4 slots. This is the one most popular with the staff so far, I think this was used on Xin Revolution. If you dont know what that is look here. Anyways, I would like to know what you the people of this fine site would want to do with your items. Stop item whoring, or not? EDIT: I almost forgot about the Misc section, items that can be held in the hand like a bat or something. Whatever I know something will come up it always does so two slots should cover it. |

Me thinky this is a good move. Wouldn't want this board to be filled with Rick Foxx-es look alike. Plus, it would give this site a more realistic touch.

Well nothing like it has been created yet, but like butterfly knives, or a bat somethign you hold in your hand, that is just kinda random.
EDIT: Also like on 552 there where pills handed out, drugs, to the students, so I would guess that would go there too.

Maybe I'm insane, but 16 items still seems like alot to me. Maybe cut it down a little?

I like the idea... Although each item would have to be along lines of reason. Like it was said before, no wearing three/four shirts/pants.
Other than that, I would also suggest having a cap to not allow people to have all of their items being uber-ly powerful. It just wouldn't be cool or fair to have some freshman obtain three or four quest items, which make him have power comparable to that of the seniors/teachers.
But this is a very good idea, all in all.

Why make this system, it just makes things confusing, and people will just find a way around it. The only logical thing I can think of is just make items all around more rare, or hell, just have them have special effects, and have more exp be awarded. It saves confusion, and keeps stuff more basic, but that's just me. ~R.Kelly101@1337.Ghiste |
