Well... I wish I didn't have to post my ass off before I could get my own Qi ability, but it's working.
I do think Bastion's is a little unbalanced though... He has the force...

The force is strong with that one.
and I know where your coming from Atticus, thats why I've come up with another idea, but I go by this polocy is it aint broke why fix it? So I needed input from people, so the more input I get the more willing I'll be to share my idea. It will help everyone get a Qi ability if need be.

Wild guess at the idea brewing in your head... Qi as a quest reward...

Let it be known that I am completely ignorant about the Qi system and everything that pertains to it.
(Is it beginning to not surprise you yet, John? ...I never understand anything. xD)

Well not only does my idea simplify Qi, but it makes it WAY easier to understand.

Well, I can bet someone who fights my character is going to complain about his Qi ability... so, uhh...Hmm. Well, it's pretty good how it's set up - but what about those that make their own ability? I guess we can't really see that until someone gets to junior level...

Your QI is a little cheap.. >_>
But you have the ability to RP it fairly.. I guess.

yes. . . right.
<.< >.>
I think that counts for me to put this out there.
Ok.
I'm willing to do multiple things for the single fact of making this fun for EVERYONE. I'm willing to throw out the idea of ranking is what allows you to get your own Qi, so you can just make your own Qi right now. I'm willing to throw out the idea of teachers teaching the students their Qi, but instead teach the students how to use their own Qi better. Which will be for Exp.
Now when you create your own Qi, you have to describe what it is and what it does, kinda the set up already going, review my bio, or someone elses for a look see. You write up what the different levels can do, and once your Qi has been aproved, and discussed, then a staff mmeber, most likely me, will go through and set up requirments for each level that you would need to reach to gain that level of your Qi. I'll write an example.
Bone Shredding: Bone shredding is the technique of using your Qi to keep your bones in place. Extream pain comes from such a technique so the person has to be well fit to take pain. This technique also requirs great concentration and knowledge of the human body. So one must be intellagent.
Beginner: The beginner level allows the user to only fix one fracture, and requirs quit a bit of concentration, so may take a few seconds. Stat Requirments: 15 Cha. 20 Con, 20 Int
Novice: At the Novice level you are able to not only put a bone back in place, but can snap it at will, can also handle replacing two fractures. The user still takes a few seconds to replace or break said bones, and must remain relatively motionless to accomplish said feet. Stat Requirments: 20 Cha, 25 Con, 25 Int
Pro: At Pro level one can use the bone shredding technique to replace three fractures, and there be less pain when doing so. It may take a second to do it, but the pain is relatively gone. One must still remain alittle motionless, but they can move some. Stat Requirments: 25 Cha, 30 Con, 35 Int
Advanced: At Advanced level four fractures can be replaced, pain is pretty much abolished when using this technique, and there can be lots of motion when doing the technique. It still takes time, but your not just a target now. Stat Requirments: 30 Cha, 35 Con, 37 Int
Master: At the Master level of Bone Shredding, it takes relatively no time at all, one can replace the bones as much as they want, and it doesn't matter how much you move. Pain returns at master level. Stat Requirments: 50 Cha, 60 Con, 50 Int
each time you reach each of the requirments you move up to that next level automatically.

OK my little piece. It's a good idea I think. I also feel that everyone should have their own Qi. If that doesn't happen we will just have a bunch of people running around with the same moves which would just kinda make this place bland. If you don't get this let me know and I'll go into more detail... yes I'm lazy get over it.
