Last week, I sent a PM to Mr. Asiv, asking if it was possible to create a Qi attack for yourself, even if you weren't of Junior or Senior profession, a question I asked, mainly because the rules on Qi attacks are, even now, somewhat unclear to me.
So, I sent a pm, essentially seeking to see if he would approve it anyways. And, even if he did, I wouldn't be able to use it, right off the bat.. (and for, those of you how slow a poster I may be, you know that it may take me until next summer before I reach anything close to Sophmore year..).
I created this, because, it seemed balanced, and, while perhaps a bit powerful, self-defeating at the same time (maybe even suicide, if you look to it in such an extremity).
So.. uh.. none of the authorities have responded, and, I'm left with the fact that I'm in the same position that I'm in.
Thanks for your help, whether given or no!

Within every man, woman, child, within every body, heart, and soul, there is power to be found. The source of our strength, the will to let us continue to push onward, and become stronger, an almost primal instinct to live, avoid hurt, reproduce, socialize, seek shelter.. the basic needs of mankind. The need to survive. 'Aura' is a focusing of that source of power, that mentality, an accumulation of emotion, desperation, and survival, but most of all... a knowing of one's 'self'. As suggested, 'Aura' is a focusing of all of this in your body, arousing every fiber, folicle, particle of your being, and dumping it all out at once, in a continued stream, outside of your person, for others to feel. Depending on your mood, people may be attracted to you, or may seek to actively avoid you.
Everyone has an aura, some smaller then others, some large, and showing off large Charisma and that either demands following for its leadership, or tells everyone like a coiled snake ready to spring, 'back off'. But in combat... a person's aura completely changes.
There is a desire.. to avoid discomfort, to dodge pain and suffering. This 'self' 'Aura' is a taxing and streneous ability that requires the person to know themself fairly well, often faltering for those who are superficial.
This ability is used by focusing all of your energy into one moment, that even your opponent can 'feel' in the 'air'.. if not their very soul. As a novice, however, it can only be used to deflect specific attacks, make opponents flinch. But, as a person's mastery over their 'Aura' continues, it can grow into a full-frontal stop on an attack, and it's rumored to even 'hurt' those surrounding you, at a level of Mastery..
But there is always a price.
A person's constituition... is drained, continously, by use of this ability. Not only this, but, their ability to think, their ability to move, to do anything at all... is all drained, through continued use, until a person is given a chance to recover. And the stronger the aura, the greater the need to feed it.
Usually, it's recommended that a person only uses this only in times of great need in battle. ..'Usually'... depending on the person's own wisdom of knowing when to use it or not.
At this point, the user is only just beginning to know him or herself, and more often then not, is unable to stabilize their aura for more then a few shots, in a battle. The willpower needed, however, is only enough to deflect shots, and proper blocking is needed as well, to make it 'bounce' off you. Most beginners should expect to get slightly hurt, still, and even need to look at their opponent's eyes, to maintain the 'Aura'.
Beginner Notes: Can only be used once per post to deflect one attack.
Beginner Requirements:
-Must keep eye contact.
-25 Intelligence
-25 Wisdom
-15 Charisma
Beginner Drain Per Use:
-5 Constituition
-1 Intelligence
-1 Wisdom
-1 Charisma
Now, at novice level, interesting things can be seen, and even felt... at this point, the user's 'fighting spirit' is becoming stronger, and can be felt to become much more prominent. They don't even need to block at this point, already, simply standing and waiting. Opponents may feel that their attacks are being pressured into slowing down by an outside force.. thus making their attack miss outright, and slide to the side. This means that attacks can still possibly land, but at drastically reduced speeds, and therefore drastically reduced damage. Opponents will definetly be aware of the 'air' surrounding their affected attacks, and how much pressure seems to be there.
Novice Notes: Can only be used once per post to deflect one attack.
Novice Requirements:
-35 Intelligence
-35 Wisdom
-25 Charisma
Novice Drain Per Use:
-10 Constituition
-2 Intelligence
-2 Wisdom
-2 Charisma
The point where your opponent's attack will actually be stopped by a wall of sheer pressure, from all the energy your exhausting into the area around you. At this point... their attack will cease, exactly four inches from where they try to hit you. Unfortunetly, due to your concentration, you will be unable to counter-attack this oppurtune moment, so, the moment you attack is the time that the effect on your attack breaks. Additionally, turning your back or running away also breaks the effect, with only a moment of pause for your suprised opponent. Thankfully, for pros, the drain isn't 'as' bad as novice level, just slightly more taxing
Pro Notes: Can only be used once per post to deflect one attack.
Pro Requirements:
-37 Intelligence
-37 Wisdom
-35 Charisma
Pro Drain Per Use:
-10 Constituition
-3 Intelligence
-3 Wisdom
-3 Charisma
A wall of pressure, air impenetrable. Such an intense aura emenates from the user, at this point, that it even enshrouds the opponent, stopping them in their tracks, making them unable to move a muscle, save the heart and eyes. Even their eyelids will be stuck, as fury, desperation, whatever extremity of emotion that is emitting from your very being. And for those few moments, you can attack them with impunity, with such mastery over yourself, though unable to perform any special moves, as you're focus is elsewhere, namely the area around you. It's so strong, even your nearby enemies and allies will freeze, and those further away will flinch uncomfortably at the moment you unleash the advanced level.
Advanced Notes: Can be used for the duration of an entire post, but cannot be used for three post after that, due to mental taxation. Can attack, but only very basic attacks. Special attacks are disabled.
Advanced Requirements:
-Must be a Junior, minimum.
-42 Intelligence
-42 Wisdom
-42 Charisma
Advanced Drain Per Use:
-15 Constituition
-5 Intelligence
-5 Wisdom
-5 Charisma
A master of themself.. at their highest point. Such a wave of emotion will blast out of your being that physical items may roll away from you, a spherical imprint around you will depress the ground, walls, and ceiling around you, when it first blasts out, and it will actually blast your opponent against a wall, for very minor damage, if any at all. Cold fury works as the best emotion here. A scary, intense stare is expected to be seen, here. Even if they come charging at you, at your back, your aura will allow you to detect them, if your charging up. Though, it may be best used as a finisher, as it will leave even the master, quite drained, and very disoriented at the lack of feeling, giving the user a numbing 'nothing' feeling, at the end of it.
Master Notes: Can be used, with impunity, in one post per battle, though special abilities are disabled the moment this is used, for the post, and for the rest of the battle. Causes deep emotional withdrawal, immediatly after it ends. Passively allows you to avoid back attacks, and have a sense of how they're going to attack you, whether or not your using this.
Master Requirements:
-Must be a Senior, minimum.
-60 Intelligence
-60 Wisdom
-60 Charisma
Master Drain Per Use:
-30 Constituition
-15 Intelligence
-15 Wisdom
-15 Charisma
Affect On Opponents
-15 Constituition (Will to fight dramatically decreased.)
