Ok I have an issue with whats going on thats been bugging me for quite some time now. I havn't done one of these in a while, but.
The way the post count ranking system is right now, basically gets rid of the need for stat caps. Now I want stat caps, for my own reasons, but I know its probably hated, you guys just wanty infinity stat points and all that. But Its basically gonna be that way because of the ranking system that was made while I was away.
I need to know that no one will care if I change it back, or if you liek it the way it is.

I thought I read somewhere that the stat caps were like this:
Freshman: 30 Sophomore: 40 Junior: 50 Senior: 60
Either way, I do remember freshman being 30 and senior being 60... and if that isn't so, that's what I suggest it being, that way seniors can have master level Qi... either that or lower the Qi requirements.

Yes those are the stat caps, but how the hell is anyone supposed to reach them in 150 posts? The only time you would ever, thats EVER stat cap is if you are a Senior and thats because as a Senior you have to make 2,100 posts before you graduate.

Change it! I'm the one that altered it in the first place for reasons that aren't really applicable anymore.

I'd say change the amount of posts needed to advance.
Make it an equal amount as the next level.
0-299 - freshman 300-599 - sophomore 600 - 899 - Junior 900 - 1199 - senior 1200+ graduate.
Then, people aren't post whoring as easily to get to the next level, and stat caps now would make sense.

0-499 - freshman 500-999 - sophomore 1000 - 1499 - Junior 1500 - 1999 - senior 2000+ graduate. ^ That would be the more proper way to do it if you wanted to make it "equal". Why that many posts? Because you have to remember that the main purpose of this board is what goes on in HIGH SCHOOL. Now that you got my idea which I'm not even really for that much, but posted up there just in case you had the strong urge to change it... Back to stat caps. Here's a few questions that I have in my mind if you do it. -How big a difference will it be? -What about people who's stats exceed the caps? (Obvious, but should still be addressed) -Will this change stats rewarded by advancing in rank? -Will Qi be toned down by the level of stats needed, so the same grades can still obtain Qi levels at a fair rate? ^ That's all I got right now. Don't be so hasty to changing things either, we need to discuss this out, it's a bigger change than you think.

0-499 - freshman 500-999 - sophomore 1000 - 1499 - Junior 1500 - 1999 - senior 2000+ graduate. ^ I like that, more equal. Anyway Ghiste, why should anything else be changed? The only thing that is being changed is the number of posts needed to reach a certain level.
