This is so funny, an dironic it diserves its own thread.
As some of you may know I joined the Army Reserves. Now I knwo what yer thinking. "OMG Leon is going to war!" Well for those of you who first thought that picturing me dieing in some battle, Fuck You. for those who pictured that with me dieing in some heroic charge of doomi-ness. Thank you. Now then to make sure you understand. I AM NOT GOING TO WAR. K? Good. Now then.
The Irony. I'm goign to work one weekend out of the month. Get 11.50 an hour X2. I'll get a $100 Monthly kicker (no matter what every month I get $100). And a $19,000 bonus.
"Leon. . . . how is this Ironic?"
Well, I'm gonna be an admin.
"..."
What?
"Nothing... Like what you do here?"
Basically, except its the bare basics. As an admin here I run things and make sure everything is in line, and people follow the rules, ja?
"Mmhmm."
Well same thing, I make sure all the units in Texas have their shit, uniforms, guns, toys, cars, whatever. and everyone who comes to Texas comes to me to get stuff. I ussue soldiers houses, or give them a room in the berracks. Kinda liek Aproving a character sheet, but instead I fill out some of the stuff.
"How the hell did you land this job?"
Well. . . I told them I run 259, and that I can type around 40 WPM.
"Thats it?"
No I had to take a typing test.
"Typing Test?"
Um, I typed this thing that was on the screen and it graded my WPM. All I needed was a 22, and I got a 40.
"Thats it?"
.... Yeah, what else did you expect?
"..."
