So long as we have our own 'level' playing field, things should be fine, and acceptable, especially after being particularly generous to 552ers in terms of the statistics that they receive on this site, and the allowance of many certain and various items, though, obviously not all.

Mm... aye. Well, I've heard a fair share about it. I've heard the shittiest things about it. I'm fully prepared for the worst, yet, I want to be willing to accept them as people. After all, Valekin, Keith... even Hiroko here came from there. They can't all be bad people, though, from the rep that 552 has come off to many of us here... it's a thing that has piqued my curiosity.

Quite a few ppl told me over IM that 552 was way different than it is now. And they currently feel that the current staff is weak and prefer the former over the latter anyday of the week.

XD With Leon and John Ong on there... felt I might as well point off, right off the bat, that I am not Leon on 552 as another RPer.

And not Leon, this time.

No, I'm not officially transferring in. Yet, at any rate. However, I'd like to come to civil terms, in regards to the 'war' that Leon has been trying so desperately to achieve.

From reading the thread, I feel as though that from those who have not personally gone there, and been there, there is a misjudgment about the people.

Or maybe just me.

I do not mind transferring into a school, being completely stripped of Qi, adjusting my statistics to your school, for the short 'field trip' over here. I do not mind fighting an uphill battle. Nor, do I mind losing too much (has lost far too many times to complain). And, in particular, I do not mind adjusting from a 'Xin' style of fighting with crazy things and whatnot, or fighting in a realistic manner.

As a 259er, I have seen our school welcome fellows from your 552, and been accordingly kind to them, as necessary. Undoubtedly, some weapons/items were stripped. But many other things, such as 'Reaper Pills' (An item of Saito's), 'Ring of Terror' (Xaier's item, I believe), and whatnot. That is not to say that I demand that our items be ported over here, if we came to a peaceful settlement. (XD Actually, in fact, I have made items that, while ultimately in the 'long run' are supposed to make people stronger, greatly weakens them in the beginning, until they acquire proper statistics. But that's not the point.)

I don't know of Leon's intentions of ideas for settlement (in which case, this entire PM can be voided), but this is a settlement that I think both sides could come to agreement with:

-As people of 259, our 'starting statistics allows us to spend 90 pts on the 6 standard statistic types, including Strength, Dexterity, Constitution/Endurance, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. Here, on 552, you are given 60, and the max cap is 20, for outright beginners. By allowing us to keep the statistics we have 'earned', yet subtracting 30 from the starting statistics, keeping our statistics proportional, so that we don't turn from 'only intelligent' to 'outright uber, placed statistics-etcetera-etcetera, that would undoubtedly lead to rantings and complaints from members on here.

-Any and all individual items are subject to either being personally approved by you, and/or all your mods, and/or rejected, as seen fit. Discussion over why can take place over MSN/AIM or PMs, but if you truthfully believe in rejecting it, we will in turn, peacefully accept that as your decision as admins and moderators.

-On 259, we have compensated (to the point of possibly even raising complaints, earlier on), your transfers by providing them with starting funds, starting posts from other previous sites, given them their according High School rank (freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate, and so on), and so forth, as well as the expected statistic caps, appropriate to their post count. Simply put, if transferral of post counts were taken into account from there to here, and here to there... well, obviously that means that as 259ers, we will start out on your forum with an advantage, but please do not mistake that for solely trying to gain an edge over you (because, undoubtedly, to a heavy degree there is a desire to fight and human nature to win), but for our respectful treatment of your transfers to our site.. that to a degree, we are treated with something similar (though, definetely not expecting full, since I am more then well than aware of the faults in things such as that. Am personally more then open to discussion. To put it shortly, our posts from 259 are transferred over to 552, and we start out as thus.

-Respect to rules. It is only obvious that we should follow your forum rules, lest we make asses of ourselves. Beliefs may conflict in terms of 'why can't I make a really cool fight, like Xin, jumping twenty feet in the air, and then smashing into someone's skull', in comparison to the argument that 'while fiction in itself is exciting, in truth, the struggles of real life are all the more invigorating and inspiring'. But to say that 259 is 'better' or that 552 is 'better' or anything on a more derogative scale of discussion is completely out of the topic. Your home, your rules. In the same manner that you wouldn't like a disgusting, greasy hobo, welcoming himself into your home, eating your food, taking advantage of your hospitality, in the same manner belief we hope to enter here as respectful guests, and to get those stories up and running.

-I believe I'm forgetting a few things, but, I'll address them as they come to mind, or as you bring them up, if you decide to proceed with opening yourself to discussion with me, and respond to this pm.

Leon is a good man, a good leader. Passionate, speaks his mind, speaks as he feels. Obviously, those are traits that can be both good or bad. But it is for that among many other reasons that people have followed him to 259, that people think so highly of him, and respect him for his integrity. His desire for a school fight here. His desire to create a story. To stir up things. To give characters new experiences. Not to just limit them to the RPers that are housed safely on one board, but from one board to another. To step onto those grounds of 'uncomfortable', that cause all humans to resist and struggle, due to our utmost desire to be safe within our shelter of 'familiarity'. I can not speak for him, I can only see him, as he is to me, and what he may be to others. Leader. Rper. Writer. Asshole. But most importantly, friend.

A friend he has made out of me, he has made out of our entire community, for the most part. And his goals? His goals to wage an attack a 'field trip' on another school? Yes, it is uncomfortable, but is it not in times of stress, in times of discomfort, when we break free of those shackles, and commit ourselves to something new, regardless of how much we may dislike the taste, do we not grow? Does that struggle not fertilize our characters, with new stories to tell, new experiences, and allow us to watch them first hand, grow? These ideals... these things.

Do you know what I'm talking about?

Do you understand why I'm writing to you?

It's because of Leon that I want to see 552 for myself. Why I want to see what the hub-bub is about. To step out of my comfort zone of 259.

...But also, because, in my acknowledgment of my desire to 'see' 552 for myself, that I am aware that my 'character' on 259 is perhaps one of the most difficult to port anywhere.

So now, I'll turn this discussion to myself.

On 259, I developed a 'MPD'. Popularly known as 'Multiple Personality Disorder', though, I did not know what it stood for at the time, nor did I know what I was getting myself into. Jonathan Winters was reborn on 259 (his prior history as usage of his character of something of no concern to Xin proboards), and with him... his counterpart, 'Thrush'.

259 has many walls of realism that were broken down, for the sake of creativity. But I am saying, as a person, that I am willing to rebuild those walls, if I were to begin RPing on here, for the 'field trip'.

For one, Jonathan and Thrush have two different accounts. Immediate issues with that. Meaning that they both have the same body, but both are treated in different manners, to the point where it almost seems as though they are two different characters. Like brothers, but closer, and in a situation that they are forced into (which has not been revealed, history wise).

To get onto 552, I will go as far as to only allow Jonathan on here, and perhaps, if you'll permit, allow Thrush to 'speak' to Jonathan, but play not replace Jonathan as the main personality, nor force Jonathan to do things that he normally wouldn't, since he himself is essentially his own person.. (it's a long and complicated story that I haven't typed down, which I haven't gotten to fully develop as of yet.)

If you'll permit and agree to all the above settlements I have mentioned above (which, I must again say that is not replacement for Leon's words, those 'settlements' being only my own, though, something I hope to possibly be a 'rough draft' for a 'settlement' between 552 and 259), then, I would like it if my post count from both Jonathan AND Thrush were added onto my profile, and that the combined experiance earned would be allowed to me. (Undoubtly, some EXP is shared, and I'll be sure to cut those out of the equation). And yes, I'm aware that no 'unrealistic' eye colors are permitted, so therefore, Jonathan cannot realistically have 'white hair', but possibly, the closest thing I could find, 'snow blonde' hair, and cannot have blue-greenish eyes, but only 'blue' eyes. And obviously, adjusted height, weight, arm length, and leg length to that which would appropriately fit a Freshmen (though, if I could push for one that had a similar height, you know I would.. I blame human nature.. XD).
