Rap or rock. Rap/rock? So yeah rap, rock, or one of those rap/rock combos (if it can come out sounding good, I've heard some BAD ones..)
Something I'm wondering before we even decide what genre to make it, between the people on the board do we even have the means to make a song? I'm sure most people can upload vocals, but do we have people that play all the instruments for a band if we do rock? Do we have someone that can make a beat if we do rap? (those are just examples) What I'm trying to say is do we have people, or between some of us, can me actually make a song?

The point is to really just fuck around and have a good time with this, if possible. I mentioned this is like a... 3-4 part thing. Lyric writers will be rewarded for trying, and those who have the capabilities for a mic and voice recording... and actually sing? I think 'bravery' or that type of 'on-show performance should be REALLY heavily rewarded.. unless they really don't try. If they do a parody like Weird Al or something, or something really bad that sounds REALLY good... >_> Credit must be shown. ..Likewise, if someone can actually do what you mentioned, Dylan.. well, it isn't necessary, but, the pay-offs are ultimately 2.5x higher potentially, or so. But that's like... REALLY unnecessary. And if someone posts up some sort of.. thing with the proper genre, AFTER they've heard the person sing, its really good, all that shit, they do the extra work... yeah.  I gotta say this though, to anyone who's gutsy enough to do ANY of the above type of shit, even 'sing': ROCK ON!  *headbangs really terribly* *loses hundreds of braincells* |
