Mentality: Doesn't really like fighting anymore, which is surprising, considering where he goes to school. He will however, switch and be completely serious once he gets involved in a fight if forced into one.

Description of style:
It appears outwardly as a mix of Aikido, Ninjitsu, and Tae Kwon Do. As such it practices and teaches the usage of both powerful kicks and punches in its usage as well as the other standard moves and level of force (for the desired effects) for the moves of those styles. The Ninjitsu element of agility was added in later on as an afterthought by the family to enhance the style. The style initially places an emphasis on 'balance'. The secrets of the style have yet to be learned by him.

He grew up in the neighborhood where the #499 was rebuilt, and had no problem adjusting to the constant fighting, though he himself avoided it by eventually moving to a village out in the country before moving back. His former aloofness stems from something else.
Only once before did he get attacked, during grade school, and the boy who attacked him mysteriously ended up in the hospital in critical condition. The reputation gave him a certain dark aura. This act also landed him here.
He likes to eat plenty and a lot, and as such, is always seen at various food shops around town. There isn't a place that serves decent food, that doesn't know him.
When he's not eating or reading books on science, he's subtly flirting with the girls, which he seems to be very good at doing.
Much of that has changed since #499.
Zephran grew out of the dark and mysterious phase into a more open and sociable person after leaving #499.
No one ever found out about his involvement with the gang's building and he preferred it that way, liking the leave the past behind him and start afresh, to become a different person.
He burned all the information he gathered from #499, as part of his leaving the school, despite the fact it was committed to memory. It was part of his farewell to that place.
His family, understanding the situation, set him up in a small house a small distance away from #259 and arranged for his transfer.
