Retiring

RPing isn't as fun as it used to be, and most threads don't gimme the jolt of excitement I used to feel. Far as staffing goes, my input is usually just a bump on the road. I'll probably stick around for the spam though so, yeah.

I'll finish up the threads I'm in, and definitely my fight with Mikeh, and if you want some kinda quick thread to tie off a loose end in your story line, just shoot me a PM about it or post here.

Today's been pretty up and down, though at the end it's finally made me realize how things are. To be honest I feel a little bit like Cliff. A clip of what I said to Mikey:

"It just seems that as time goes on it's becoming more and more obvious that the majority of people just have no idea what I'm saying, and take the wrong things away from it. So regardless of plot holes and shit, I'm done with 259 aside from select RP threads, the spam thread, and other random OOC topics."

That makes two of us.

Basically, you are contradicting yourself by saying you are still going to do it.

But its annoying, since basically, you are 'giving up', not retiring.

Retiring usually entails that your character has a glorious finish, that should be written in the sites annals, not some 'loose thread tie up' that goes almost unnoticed.

Like, i 'retired' my character, by getting STABBED IN THE CHEST, for mostly the same reasons; I wasn't into it.

Thats all i'm suggesting, is that either Aureus goes crazy and kills a shitton of people (Asiv would love you to blow a chunk out of part of the city), or with a heartfelt goodbye thread that shows all of your character's friends in IC saying goodbye, with much melodrama, and real sadness from the character's players.

Just my opinion.

Just because I can't keep my big mouth shut...

I say take a break, from everything if necessary, and see what some real gone down time does for you. Hell, that is part of why I disappear for such large chunks of time. Sometimes you just need a big from even things you find fun just so they don't get stale. If after a break like that you still feel the same THEN you retire and become and hang around in ooc.

Anyway I hope you get that excitement back somehow. ^_^

Second post was the final say, so kinda discount the stuff in the first. Though I guess it's still not set in stone since I haven't killed any of my chars off yet.
