Darkness, it filled the space of sight, a dark that could not be pierced by light. That was until two powerful lights blared over the horizon with the sound of a powerful engine behind it. It was no special car, just a stock Firebird Transam. It was as black as the night, except for the night had more light. The moon it was like a bullet, silver, piercing. It was deadly thing, yet it did not matter, for there where enough stars to drown the moon. Now who was behind the wheel of this car traveling rather fast on an empty road headed toward a place called Texas? He has short, spiky, golden, blond hair, resembling the sun. His eyes where a dark and deep blue. They where the most dangerous weapon in his arsenal to date.He had a white t-shirt on, and tan cargo shorts. His face had four scars going horizontal across his right check. His forehead he had two scars, one over each eye. In the middle of his forehead is a tattoo of a diamond, and to the top two sides there are triangles that have been tilted to fit an 8th of a centimeter away from the sides. Where the sleeve ends on his right arm begins a scattered showing of scars upon his right arm, yet they are lines trailing down to the wrist which is covered by a leather glove. This glove was cut off at the fingers and had a metal plate just under the knuckles that had an inscription that read:"Strike".
He looked down to his gas gouge and found it on low, he sighed and a head popped up from the back seat. Not many people knew this girl, but for those who did, this was Lin's twin sister, the girl Leon had loved and watched die. Her name was Hellan. She looked just like Lin in every way, except for the fact she used to be part of the Lightning Gang as well and was an exceptional fighter. She had long blond hair, which was pulled back and braided into one pony tail. She had jade green eyes, that could kill someone from beauty. She had on a white shirt, and blue jean shorts. She wore the same gloves Leon did. She looked to Leon through the rear view mirror and he returned the look. He spoke before she could to answer the question she was going to ask.
"20 minutes until we reach our destination."
she nodded and sat up to wake up from her nap. She cracked her knuckles from habit and looked at Leon with an eye brow raised through the mirror. Then looked out the window. There seemed to be nothing, but a few hills, and trees, and some grass, that stretched out for an infinite amount of miles. It was probably the most peaceful part of Texas. But then a thought came to her. She had wondered what happened to the music that was playing earlier. And as if Leon had read her mind he hit play on Crossfade and started it out on the song Starless. A smile appeared on her face now as the song came to life inside the small car.
Yet in the town they where headed too there was two people waiting in a truck. The town was small, maybe 10 buildings in all, two of which where gas stations. It was roughly in the shape of a cross. The only thing that could be seen of the two guys hands of which one set where on the wheel to the car where the moonlight in the night showed the gloves Leon and Hellan where wearing. The other dude had a hand hanging out the window with a cigarette in it, he also had the gloves, All of them where inscribed with the word: "Strike". They where not talking, nor making a sound, hell you could hear the paper burn and the tobacco fizz in the cherry of the cigarette. Some movement though, a person across the street in a building had moved to the point the hand holding the cigarette twitched. The building looked like a garage, one of those places where they work on your car for you, also known to most people as "The Shop". A small rumbling could be heard in the distance, but not from the way the truck was pointing, which was out the town they where sitting in front of, but from within the town itself. Where as before the somewhat empty town had appeared silent and peaceful. Then the first motor bike came into view in the rear view mirror. Then the second, third, fourth, and a few others, making it a total of 12 bikes and 15 bike riders, some people had people sitting on the back. The guy with the cig. pulled it up to his face and there was just enough light from he cherry to show a huge scar over his left eye, yet it was a brownish color, which meant it wasn't blind. He took a last drag from the cig before flicking it out the window and stepping out.
He was wearing a black shirt, short sleeved, v-neck. Blue jeans, and some boots. His eyes where dark brown, and his hair was black. He was about 6 feet tall and didn't look happy. He was built, pure muscle it looked like. He was a power house type fellow. The driver stepped out of the truck as well. He had no scars or anything. He was shorter around 5'9". He was completely toned and perfectly in shape. He was wearing black jeans and had on a blue shirt. But his was long sleeve and not v-neck. He was quick and stylish in his movements, which could be tolled by the way he stepped around to the taller more built guy. The bigger guy spoke first, his voice a little raspy, but deep to boot.
"Do you want the ugly one on the bike, or is that one mine?"
the other guy just slapped his forehead and shrugged. He spoke soon after in a cool ready voice, almost laughing though.
"You never learn do you, Kamui?"
"Only as much as you, Tetsuo." Was his answer.
The bikes had parked at the building across the way, where that movement had made the guy twitch, namely Kamui. The thing that made them step out of the vehicle and get ready for something bad wasn't the fact they where bikers, but they where hollering and hooping, swinging bats and chains around, and the one thing that probably got to them most was that they all had black jackets, with Lightning bolts on the back.
"Didn't think they would find us so soon." Tetsuo remarked at how fast they arrived, and judging by what they knew Leon wasn't going to be there for another ten minutes.
"Well they do own this state, think about it." Was Kamui's response.
Once they had finished there short monologue all the bikers had taken off there helmets and left there bikes running as they stood across the way looking at them. Now if this wasn't over kill then there is no such thing.
"Do you think they will really be there?"
Hellan had asked as the town they where headed too came into view, there where more lights than what Leon had remembered there being, but he looked at his rear view mirror and started to speed up, they where almost running on fumes. Leon knew they would be there, he knew they would be waiting, and he knew they knew why he was coming back. Through the rear view mirror he could see she was getting just a little impatient, it had been a while since even half the team had been back together. of course Void, and Jean where still missing somewhere, but at least most of the team would be together.
"They will be there. There is no way they wouldn't help us. Nothing would stop those two, you know that."
Leon was so sure of himself there was no way not to believe him. The tone of his voice the look of his face, the eerie glow of his eyes that seemed to catch everyone off guard. She nodded and smiled. But now they had jumped into the town right into the middle of what seemed to be the soon to be battle field. He slammed the brakes the car basically died, so he turned the key and got out. The light hit him and there was a slight pause as Leon turned to the group of bikers and smiled. They seemed very hesitant to do anything more. Kamui put most his weight on his right leg and put his left hand on his hip, his right went out in a gesture, while his head shook back and forth.
"Well now our fun is gone."
Where the words that escaped his mouth. Hellan had ran over and hugged Tetsuo and made her way over to Kamui before Leon gave her a look to stop what she was doing. It would seem these 15 or so bikers wanted to deal with something, so Leon walked directly toward them, no hesitation, no other emotion on his face except one of anger. Though it was calm and controlled anger it was a look most men feared back in New York, and people had learned even before them to fear here in Texas. Words came out his mouth as he reached about 6 feet from the only one wearing a rank badge on his shoulder. Of course it was a silver clip that indicated he was a Captain, a pretty high rank in the Lightning Gang, but it made no difference to Leon.
"If you know who I am, then you know two things. One none of you here will live to see the sun rise. Two there is no use running."
The dude seemed to whimper, they had tried to get here and gone before Leon showed up, they where unsure of what to do, and none of them had guns. No they where all too cocky to carry guns. What use would it be for them to use guns on a person who has an 8th of a centimeter miss at 300 yards with a pistol? Not much, these guys where doomed just by showing up, of course with every group of people they believed numbers made the difference, but while Leon was intimidating them, Tetsuo had gotten in the truck and was going about 34 miles per hour aimed down the line of bikes that was neatly made on the side of the street. And by the time anyone could turn there head to see, he had already crushed the first two people.
Leon kept eye contact with the captain, using his Lightning Strike's Glare. The Captain couldn't move if he wanted too. Leon had learned it in New York, as a gift almost. This guy was lost in his own dreams and nightmares looking into the eyes of a man who was a myth in the gang. Most everyone had been able to jump out of the way, but this poor captain couldn't' so he was hit and crushed under the wheels of the truck, staring into Leon's eyes, his last site, was the blue glow of the eyes of hell. Then all hell broke loose. Kamui had gone for the far side of people that had jumped out of the way, Hellan was aiding Tetsuo who had been attacked after he got out of the truck, and Leon was surrounded by five people. They where unsure of what to make of Leon, for none of them had fought him before.
All of these people where new members to the gang and had only heard the stories of Leon and the Strike team from the older gang members. The rumors that flouted in the underworld of Texas. They where very scared of this single man, but only if they knew of his heart condition. They would not fear him. One man approached him from behind, his only problem being the fact his fear made him clumsy and which made him make enough noise for those ears to pick up. Leon had shifted dropped low, spun around sweeping the fools legs from under him. He had begun to drop down, falling to his right, but Leon had been ready for such a thing and sent his fist into the fools gut making him fly into the surrounding four others. They had dodged his body. The thing about Leon's punch was that his fist was vertical, with the pinky knuckle being the closest to the ground, and his index knuckle being the closest to the sky.
But just with that simple action another had jumped toward Leon both arms wide, his hands shaped like claws. Yet he met the sole of Leon's shoe in the air, but he had made contact with such force Leon had to bend his knee because of the force being applied forward, this also knocked him from his feet, and he went to the ground sliding a bit on his back. His white shirt becoming dirty, with dirt from the ground. His tan pants you couldn't really tell much. This made the last remaining three realize something, just from Leon falling down, he was just another man, he was no more a myth than dirt was candy.
One of them that was near where he fell tried to stomp on his face. Leon threw up his hands and caught the foot, and with a very good display of strength held it away from his face. He turned it one way allowed the guy to try and force it the other, and then he forced it the way the guy was pulling so fast he couldn't stop it and was pushed the other way, Leon pushed up on the leg and made the guy kinda stumble away. He would raise his legs up just before the other two had grabbed it, and kick himself up to his feet. These guys had been caught off guard enough already so they almost fell on there asses. But it would appear they where able to stand up, Leon sent his left foot into the right knee of the person on his right, making him drop to one knee and sorta scream.
The second guy sent a back fist toward Leon's head, but he had blocked it, pulled it down and sent his own back fist into his face with his left hand. The guy withdrew his hands, the other guy was attempting to stand, so Leon sent the same left hand he had just back fisted into the other guy down in a punch to his face. He stopped getting up and held his face as well. Leon would then send his right foot and raise it until the tip connected with the underneath of the guy who was still standings jaw. He flew back and hit the ground as Leon had no doubt the guys jaw was broken along with some internal mouth injuries. He left his foot int he air and like a breeze drifted it over and dropped it full force onto the man on one knee's shoulder, he went to the ground completely from pain.
What the spiky blond haired man was not expecting was the next thing that happened. A sharp intense pain rattled through his body, it was all sparked from his back as he was sent flying forward. He rolled and lay on top of his back. Now for those of you who don't know Leon's back was fragile and had been broken enough times, and it was one of his last remaining weaknesses. And also one of the last remaining buttons that could piss him off, to make him lose it. The guy laughed and made his way over, he kicked Leon in the sternum with a stomp. Leon spit blood, but this guy made the wrong move, he gave Leon leverage from the ground. He would quickly grab a hold of the guys foot that was on his leg, pull on it spinning himself to where his feet pointed at him, and stomp kicked the guy in the knee he was using to support himself on. He fell forward onto the other half of his leg that had now been broken.
Leon rolled out of the way and stood up. He wiped the blood from his face and bent over a bit. He was not really in the best conditions right now to try and pick anymore fights, but from the looks of it, the remaining two from the others fighting them had run off already. Leon sat back down and waited for everyone to gather. Now, now was the time for talking, hugging, and catching up on old times, but that would halve to be quick, because there was more to fall on these people, much more.
He looked down to his gas gouge and found it on low, he sighed and a head popped up from the back seat. Not many people knew this girl, but for those who did, this was Lin's twin sister, the girl Leon had loved and watched die. Her name was Hellan.
