Been doing a few hands and whatnot lately, nothing in really high realism, mostly just quick sketches. This ones a drawing of my hand in red chalk Another Hand And heres some anatomy I did a while ago

Really good, in my opinion anyways. Nice shading.

The fingers of the red hand are a bit long, remember that when an object goes back in space it foreshortens slightly. But it still looks really good, I can't draw hands/people to save my life. Nice job (:

Thanks, foreshortening applies more to the angle at which the point of diminuation occurs rather than trying to create depth with it. Its just that the thumb is in a really wierd position, I made it so you have to flexate the forearm in order to hold the thumb in that position. So if you compare the relaxed thumb to the fingers then yes, the fingers would be too long, but the thumb is moving inwards rather than being relaxed, which changes its position. I think I over emphasized my muscles on the finger though, the lines go to deep. If I had more time I could of done much better, the red one was just a quick ten minute sketch. Ah hopefullly I can set aside several hours to make something impressive. Seeing the red one with such that shading was driving me nuts so I cleaned it up a bit, heres an updated picture.
