Completely freestyle focusing on kicking attacks. He mostly fights with counter-attacks due to his outlook on fighting. But he is highly offensive and looks for a weak spot in stances then works with them using kicks most of the time when on offense.

Born to a decently whealthy family due to his father's computer company and his mother working for the goverment. Jyo grew up comfertably for the beggining of his life. He did well in school getting very good marks, and while not highly social he had a few friends here and there. The two best friends he had were girls in his class. One was named Katie and the other named Kyra.
Kyra was heavily into martial arts for fun and Jyo soon became interested, and started training with her at the age of seven. He proved highly adept at learning how people moved in combat and he was able to counter others easily most of the time. From a young age he had long legs and learned his reach with his kicking attacks were his greatest advantage so when on offense he would use kicks.
During this time training Katie would more or less watch over Jyo and Kyra as they would often get hurt. She would then step in and stop them making sure they recovered before training again. For a few years things went happily for them. That was until they turned thirteen and Kyra was caught inbetween a shootout and killed. This affected Jyo and Kyra deeply in many ways. For Jyo he had come to despise such sensless violence and vowed never to fight unless he needed to as a person who did nothing but fight would likely do something like the shootout which claimed one of his closest friends. Katie became very protective over Jyo not wanting to lose another friend. Between themselves and family they recovered from their loss though Kyra's grave is visted each year still.
Jyo was soon sent to public highschool #499. The school was newly reconditioned and under new leadership. however this was not a good thing and jyo was thrust into a setting where students were horribly beaten and raped and worse throughout the course of their time there. He soon had to use his abilities as a fighter to survive and this soon caught the attention of the headmster who kept a close eye on the young man and even informed Jyo that he had plans for him in the future which kept him wary of the faculty.
A few months after his arrival, Jyo became the school's captain by winning a fight against the previous captain. he soon became the ideal "Hero" of the school. He would always put other's needs before his own and often was gravely injured for his efforts to improve the quality of life at the school. He made many eneimes here but none so fierce as a student Named Rastal Carlithian whome seemed to be Jyo's polar opposite but just as skilled in every way. The two clashed many time and while horribly dmaaged, Jyo was the victor each and every time. Eventually Rastal left and went into hiding
He soon met the benifactor of the school. Kazuma Kazahana, a madman who experimented on the students with a drug called Brimstone. Jyo was introduced to the super steriod but he broke it's hold over him and openly defied Kazahana after his time working under the man and learning about what he truely had planned.
For this defiance Kazuma was able to get his hands on his friend Katie and had her tortured, raped, then killed while being recorded and sent the video to Jyo. This sparked a rage in the young man who went to confront Kazuma but he fell at the hands of the man's son Ichiro. Jyo was left beaten and broken. Having nothing left at the school Jyo transfered to #259 for his last year to get stronger and defeat his hated enemy. Before his arrival though he ran across a young orphaned girl whom was known as Lene. Jyo took the girl in and adopted here letting her have his last name.
Over his time Jyo's past has been slightly revealed at the school and he has met many high placed people there including the headmaster Zack Asiv whom has modified the Brimstone formula. Jyo has constantly tried to warn Asiv of the repercussions but his warnings have not been taken seriously so far.
During his time here he has also met his friend Kasumi from #499. They informed each other of what had happened and Jyo discovering that Kasumi had no place to live invited her to live with him. On their first night together they slept with each other and for Jyo whom Considered Kasumi one of his closest friends it was slightly confusing but after speaking with her it wasn't really brought up agian and actually made their relationship more comfortable in a way.
But shortly after Kasumi's sister arrived Jyo was attacked by his old foe Rastal Carlithian whome beat him nearly to death and informed him of his plans for Kasumi and his adopted daughter Lene. Jyo's last actions were to have Lene sent to his parent's house in Washington and then he was taken into hiding by someone whom found him after the beating and witnessed the brutal attack as well.
Now Jyo returns to the school. He is ready to resurface completely recovered and stronger than before in many ways.

This Qi allows Jyo to see things in a way few others con. When active his eyes glow of their natural color which is a bright emerald green. What physically occures in his body is his nerves from his eyes to his brain being charged with his life-force, improving his abilities to percive motions around him. he can only apply it in one way but it is devestating and he can control the amount used in his Qi.
At begginer level he needs 10 to his constitution and his Wisdom and it allows him to operate at %25 above his normal ability in terms of reacting to movements.
Novice requires 15 to his Wisdom and Constitution to operate and his eyes start to shimmer slightly with his Qi. He is able to operate at %40 above his normal abilities in reading another person's movements.
Pro level is a high jump. he needs 30 in his constitution and wisdom and his eyes have a noticable glow. He operates at %50 above his normal level and barely any movement is able to escape his notice.
Advanced level is what Jyo is currently at. He requires 35 constitution and 40 wisdom to attain this meaning it is fairly recent. he operates at %65 above his normal levels in his ability to read and react to movements though when his Qi is active he literally loses control of his actions due to the fact he is letting the Qi dictate how he reacts. it drains him quickly right now and he only pushes himself this far in dire situations.
Jyo has not attained master level
