Ok. So for all you Legend of Zelda fans out there.
I did this for my Dark Link outfit. I figured, if Dark Link had a fairy, it would probably be red. So, this is what you'll need.
But first, you'll need some music ot listen to while your working. www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlTKvqQelYc
Now to the fairy.
Acrylic Craft paint. (any color you like) Styrofoam ball. Paint brush. Glue gun. Glue. Wings.
Now, I bought my wings. But they can be easily made with some sturdy wire and nylons.
Also, that second bottle of paint you see is just glittery paint. Glitter is optional.
Now, before we started painting. I used a pencil to put a little square like whole in the fairy so I coudl later on glue the wings in the hole.
Now. You begin painting.
Wait for it to dry. And I'd say wait 24 hours. It takes a WHILE for the Styrofoam to dry.
And you glue on your wings.
And BAM!
You now have your own little Fairy!!!
You could easily attach your fairy to your costume with wire, or what have you so he can travel along with you!!!
Or you can place him in a jar, like I planned on doing.
