"What alot of people dont get about animals, is they are far more sensitive then people give credit for and even despite that, with love and care they dont ask for much, just a pet here or there and attention. They dont bug you to do this and that unless its absolutely needed.. and they are always there to listen, or cheer you up when you come in from work or a hard day."
A smile came and he looked down at each of them in turn. Bob the Squirrel had climbed upwards onto his head and now was sitting upright, head up, sniffing the air and looking around in a cautious manner as always.. Bob was the one that stirred shit up.. the others liked to relax.. and Bob would bounce around.. though.. the funniest thing he had to say was when he turned on a few select songs. Bob would start Bobbing his head up and down and start bouncing around like he was a head banger or trying to dance.

"Yeah, it's almost as if they can sense how you're feeling better than people can..or want to. I've always wanted a pet of my own, puts your mind at ease.."
She watch Bob the squirrell crawl around the man's shoulders, and she grinned. Assuming he was a least likely to bite her hand off, she held out her left hand, though still covered a bit in chalk, out to him, and made a small clicking sound.
"I'm Chihiro by the way, I don't believe we've met. Chihiro Amuri."
She addressed the man, though still holding her hand out to Bob. He would probably recognize her last name through her father, who was quite a legend in these parts for his mastery in the martials arts. Pity she didn't share the interest with the same passion as her father did, though everyone still knew her as 'Sensei Amuri's daughter.'

Sadly, he was unknown to Hiroko. As he didnt truly follow the martial arts form, he had his own methods of fighting.. it was just his way. Bob the Squirrel however, shifted, sniffing at her hand and giving her finger a light nibble before shifting and curling back up around Hiroko's neck, this got a light chuckle which aroused Zaros attention, she saw the outstretched hand and tail began to wag once more, moving forwards and licking at it, showing affection as any house pet would have.. odd really, but it was just the way she was.
"Yea, part of the reason I love having them around.. I am Hiroko, nice to mee you Chihiro."
He said in a friendly manner, smile there once again as he looked over, a hand softly stroking the back of that panther ,and the other scratching Bob lightly under his chin.

Chi giggled as Bob nibbled her hand before curling up around Hiroko's neck, it tickled. She was a bit disappointed that he wouldnt come see her, though it was to be expected, as she was a stranger. Her face lit up, though, as the wolf licked her hand though, she acted almost liek a puppy.
The brunette girl giggled again at the tickling sensation, moving her hand to scratch behind Zaros ears.
"Aww, so cute."
She said, beaming like ther was no tomorrow. She would be tickled pink to have a wolflike Zaro, she was beautiful, calm, and affectionate...too bad her mom was allergic. Instead of worrying and sulking about not having a pet, she poured her ungiven affection onto Zaro, cooing and smiling and petting her. Awww!

"I think she likes you.. isnt often she likes people."
He chuckled slightly watching the way Zaro was licking at her hand and soon moved on to lick on her cheek, neck and the general face area. A bit of a smirk came at that point, it wasnt the sinister type, but more of the humored shaking your head type.
"Well. You can come see her anytime you want."
A shrug of his shoulders, and he smiled at her once more, his eyes shut for a moment as head tilted up and he let the sun leak right down over his flesh in a soothing fashion

The giggles increased as Zaro continued to cover her in kisses. She pulled away slightly and continued to pet her, beaming. She wasn't this affectionate with everyone? There must be something in Chi that Zaro liked, and Chi liked that. Now more than ever, she wished she could have a pet. Chocoalte eyes looked at Hiroko disbelieving.
"Really??? Anytime?"
She asked, joy bubbling up into her voice. She had really taken a liking to Zaro, as she continued to pet her, her fingers practically disappearing in her white fur. Her chalk masterpiece lay abandoned on the sidewalk.

"Yea. Any time you want."
He nodded and let a hand come out. It was massive in size, easily having rested around the top of her head, though with that all he was doing was ruffling the hair on her head in a gentle manner before his hand retracted and layed back on his lap in the same manner it had before. showing his relaxation with this at a current point. There wasnt much else to be done. Zaro seemed to be fully enjoying the attention she was getting from Chihiro. And he was more then happy to let her take that attention so long as she could.

"Oh, wow, thanks Mister Hiroko. If you're ever out of town and need a sitter, I'd be happy to help."
She said with a smile. Just then, the front door of her house opened a bit and a woman's voice called out ot the girl, she sounded a bit tired, or spacy.
"Chihiro? ...Chihiro, where have you been? I've been calling for you for...minutes now...come help me find my shoes, I have a meeting..."
Chi sighed, her face falling to a troubled frown for the slightest of moments.
"Coming!"
She called to the door, which closed with a slight click before she'd even responded. She looked up at Hiroko, her blithe smile back in place, her eyes a little less sparkly.
"I've gotta go...it was nice to meet you, sir. And you too Zaro."
She said, giving the wolf one last loving scratch behind the ears. She was so sweet! She stood up, waving to Hiroko and his animals, her smile regaining its brightness.
"Bye!"
She waved again, skipping up the walkway to the door and inside, already calling to her mother as she walked through the door. She had left the chalks out on the grass by the sidewalk, the masterpiece unfinished. Maybe she'd get a chance to come out and finish it before it rained. Or maybe not, it was hard to tell.
