Fighter 1: Chihiro Amuri Fighter 2: Mika Shimokawa Location: The Shopping Mall Description: The center of the shopping mall was the biggest open space in the entire building. Large, and almost circular in appearance as the four isles of stores converged in one place. In the middle stood a large marble fountain with large tiered ledges, the bottommost one often used as a bench by weary shoppers in need of a break. There are also a few benches, large potted plants in matching marble containers, and a mall directory.
---
Why am I doing this? I can't fight yet.. Chi thought to herself as she entered the arena, aware of the many eyes now set upon her. The center of the mall had been cordoned off for this event, and seemed to be drawing the attention of many a passerby as they came to wonder about this inconvenience. You're doing this to prove yourself.. She argued stubbornly, clenching her right hand as she stared down at it. The cast was still in place, kinda dingy, the marker from Atticus' drawing fading a bit in places. She only had a week or so left, her arm was strong enough with her cast, but she was still at a disadvantage. She couldn't strike with her right hand, which was alright because she was left handed. It simply meant she had to think around her shortcoming. It wasn't a hinderance, it was a challenge, and she was going to meet it.
The Syndicate member's chocolate eyes blinked in alterness as she scanned the arena for a sign of her opponent. WIth any luck it will be a fast fight, and she won't be the one going home a loser.

As a flash of light, her presence was noticed, she saw her standing there in the middle of it all, her opponent. Mika glanced her over, carrying her right fist clenced around an object, carefully held, she slowly opened her hand revealing a small white-coated silvery ring with a perfect green emerald held in it. She looked over at her opponent, sending her the recent look Mika have always been sending, one of a sad person. She allowed the ring to be embracing her fourth finger on her left hand, symbolling of her past achievement. She knew she was strong, but was she built for fighting anymore? She didn't know herself, but she was certainly about to find out.
She stepped closer to her opponent to get within talking range. "Hi, i'm Mika." she claimed sending a small unsure smile in her direction in addition to extending her flat right palm. Her white band held her hair up, even in spite of the hairband holding it in a ponytail. The black t-shirt clinched her shoulders tightly, embracing her upper body. Her leggings being covered by a pair of white shorts, reaching her knees. One could easily tell that Mika would be much of a boyish girl, but then again, she weren't.
((My apologies))

((ooc: S'alright.))
Chi looked to find the source of the voice. And there it was, Mika. A small grin formed across the junior's features as she nodded at the girl who would be her opponent. She seemed dressed to battle, but so was Chi. Black shorts with two pink stripes down each side, a black sporty tank with pink jersey looking material seemingly cinching the tank closer at each of her sides, the top of a black sports bra could be seen across her shoulders and upper back where her tank didn't cover. She too had pulled her long hair back into a long ponytail, long raven strands falling to the small of her back.
"I'm Chi. Care to begin?"
She offered a nod in the girl's direction, her grin turning into a smirk as she clenched and unclenched her fists gently.
