Standing on the catwalk Cliff walks up to the rails and stare down at the crowd of people that had gathered in front of him. Inside this massive crowd of people stood eight fighters who qualify for the main matches. Taking note of the four rings that where set up in a square formation, Cliff looked down at the list of fighters who sign up and made sure his preparations where complete.
In a clear loud voice with a microphone attach to his shirt Cliff then greeted everyone, “Good Afternoon to all of you, fighters and spectator alike. I am the leader of The Exiles and I will be the host of this fabulous tournament.“
“Before I get on explaining the rules of this Tournament of Fighters I want to offer each and everyone of you a free membership into the youth group. Remember joining is free and you owe this organization nothing. This group’s purpose is mainly to train its members in self-defense, and as members you will be able to access all of its resources however you want. Nothing else will be asked of you until you show readiness to do more. Talk to the referee and he will be glad to give you an emblem.”
Now clearing his throat Cliff then continue on with the rest of the program, “Like I said before welcome all to the Second Tournament of Fighters. Here you will fight others in this exciting tournament to determine which one out of all of you can truly call yourself a Fighter.”
“This tournament is set up differently from previous tournaments that set up a ladder like structure where only the winner gets to the top. To keep with the ideas of The Exiles everyone will be able to fight in each round should they choose. Win or lose everyone will be able to move the next round should they decide it. If at any point a fighter wants to forfeit the match they may do so, and still participate in the next round. Should a fighter not show up to his or her match at all they are disqualify, and not allow to fight in the next rounds.”
“Also to assured everyone’s safety each round will have a referee watching over it. Their word is law, and when they say it is over then the fight is over. They will also decide the winner and loser of each match.”
“Finally! The most important rule of this Tournament is to have fun and show everyone watching the meaning of being a true fighter. As long as you try your best then there is no way in hell you can ever lose!”
As soon as he said that each of the four referee enter their own rings and held up a cardboard sign indicating each fight that would be held in the ring.

A few days previous Aureus had signed up for a certain tournament that a certain Senior had been advertising at 259. It had been Cliff, the student he had fought a few months ago. Not to mention the one that had been gaining a rather large following. Even now, the Pillar wasn't exactly sure what Cliff intended to do, but if joining this tournament would give him a little more insight and a chance to have a few good fights, he was in.
As it turned out, Chi had wished to enter as well. So, they had come to the arena together. Stepping through the side door, Aureus darted his eyes around the room, looking for anything of interest. The first things to catch his lens covered eyes were the four, large rings set up at one side of the room. Four rings...eight fighters...standard set up. He thought, wondering who exactly his first opponent would be.
He was dressed in the usual: Red T shirt, dark blue jeans, gloves, glasses, and white and black sneakers. It was pretty much all he needed to put up a good fight. His movements weren't restricted and he was comfortable. He was definitely ready to go. Lets go, lets go, lets go! Levi shouted mentally.
A loud voice boomed through the speakers arranged around the room, and the Junior traced it to a boy standing ontop of the catwalk. Cliff... What followed was a simple welcome, plug for the "youth group", and an explanation of the rules. Most of them were pretty basic, except in this tournament, there would be no losers, or that's what the ideal was anyway. Unfortunately Aureus could already see that people would probably end up too injured to fight more than one or two rounds. You always had to consider people's egos, referees or no.
"Well, good luck beautiful," The dark haired boy said with a smile before leaning in to kiss his girlfriend. Things had been fine up until then, but when the refs held up the signs...things went sort of down hill from there.

Wow..A lot of people had shown up for the event. Nothing like supporting violence, woo. Well hopefully this tournament would turn out better than the first. Chi had basically won by default, and with a bum arm at that. She was dressed in her normal kick ass gear: black shorts with a pink stripe on each side, pink and white tank with black sports bra and her black and white pumas. Her long dark hair was pulled back in a ponytail with a white stretchy headband. On he hands were her leather studded gloves and around her neck was a necklace with a small bell on it. Though seemingly harmless and possibly decorative, these items boosted her strength and constitution, and upon reading the signs, realized she was going to need it.
Oh...err.. Chi stared at the cards, taking note of her own fighter, Jyo, but primarily focusing on the first arena. She placed a hand on her boyfriends arm in a reassuring manner. "You can do it, just be careful and don't do anything stupid. You'll have to think at least three moves in advance with him otherwise he'll read you like a book.." She bit her bottom lip nervously, she didn't realize Karel was going to be in the tournament. This bit of information just made everything more difficult and far more dangerous. Well, everyone likes a challenge, right? Oh boy..

Jyo stood off to the side away form everyone else. he wasn't interested in talking at the moment. His black martial arts gi was on and he was already barefoot. Jyo felt that in a tournament he might as well look the part for the big event. After all he wouldn't like his suit ruined now would he? He nocticed he first opponent. A girl named Chi. Her name floated around the school, From what he heard she'd be an interesting opponent. Someone to be able to keep him on his toes. He then headed off to the ring no interest in anything but getting things going.

A second was all it took for everything to click into place, like the hammer of a gun being pulled back. The smile slid off Aureus' face only to be replaced with a look of intense rage. His gloves lit up, his hands balled into fists. He would be fighting the man who dared touch his girlfriend. His body shook and felt like it was on fire. Every part of him wanted to tear the entire room up until he found the bastard. Thankfully Chi's touch was able to bring him back down, if only a little. She warned him about not doing anything stupid, but he didn't need to be told. He knew from rumors around the school that Karel was probably stronger than he was, but that wasn't about to stop him.
"I'm gonna fucking kill him. I don't care what the rules are, I'm gonna kill him. He'll pay for everything he's ever done to you, I swear," The Pillar growled, his eyes screaming murder. Turning to look at the ring, he slammed his fist into the wall, a small crater marring it's surface. "I promise...I promise you. I love you," He said to the dark haired girl, staring deep into her eyes before heading off towards the ring.
On his way there he practically pushed everyone out of the way, even burning a few, but the look in his eyes told them all that retaliating wouldn't be in their best interest. Climbing into the ring, Aureus stopped in the dead center and looked around anxiously. He was still shaking, not from fear, but rage, anticipation, and his love for Chi. The fight couldn't start fast enough.

A nervous look crossed the girl's face as she watch Aureus push his way through the crowd. He was pissed, and she hoped that it wouldn't cloud his judgement. He would need everything he had if he wanted to defeat Karel.
After about a moment, once Aureus disappeared into the crowd and she couldn't see him anymore, Chi glanced about to get her bearings. She needed to find her own arena where she would fight Jyo, and her nervousness melted as she gathered her resolve. Rather, she was excited to see how she would match up against him, as she had heard he was pretty decent fighter. If she could fair well against Travis (albeit losing and getting a broken arm as a prize), she could take on this guy.

john didn't give a damn about what sort of rules this place had. Nor did he care who he was fighting, or for what reasons. Right now he just wanted to fight. He had been in the hospital reading the journal Jyo gave him teaching his mind alittle before he tried to give himself the will to Once the arena's where showing the names John made his way to his fight against someone named Sevren. Interesting name, hopefully he put up a good fight. He had met many people at this school so far, most didn't like fighting but got into trouble anyways. Yet their was those who where very good at fighting that he had run into along the way. Travis, Levi, Jyo. They where good fighters. Maybe Sevren would be added to the list.
His Silver hair wasn't combed properly, but it looked descent. His dark red eyes looked pretty focused, he had learned that losing his temper made him stronger and faster at times, but it ultimately defeated the purpose of winning the fight. A dark purple muscle shirt was tucked into black jogging pants with a dark purple stripe going down the outside of the right pant leg. He was prepared for this, and lets just say no one would stand in his way this time. If the referee got in the picture stopping it because John would be too injurred to go on, he may get a mouth full of fist.

Karel's eyes opened as the feeling of a few dozen hearts were beating around him, the atmosphere only similar to a certain Cage arena he had fought in everyday back at 552. Pressure. Something that was easy to cope with in his view, and what was more was that he use to win cash for it. For curiosity's sake, he looked to who he was suppose to be fighting - after all, he was an entrant and had registered to be in all this - couldn't risk getting rusty and out of practice, can he?
