These shards are calling out to their masters now. May everyone flock to this tournament and claim the prize that awaits them. Fools! They don’t even know what the true prize is, but I do. You told me what awaits the victor and I shall calm that unspeakable power.
Looking down at his glowing bracelet on his right hand Cliff rubbed in gently as he watched it start to glow with hunger.
I know you are hungry, I am too. Heh. Don’t worry about a thing I shall bind all the shards to you, and together we can rule over all those who possess one.
Sitting in the main front right arena in warehouse one, Cliff waited patiently for someone to show up and enter with their keycard. The tournament was starting today, and that means many people will be entering his domain for a chance to unlock the power of these mysterious items.
As he was waiting the lights in the warehouse suddenly went on indicating someone used their keycard to enter the room. Still sitting up against one of the polls in the ring Cliff then shouted, “Whose there?”

This is where I'm supposed to show up?
Keith was given a keycard to use to enter the warehouse and the other fighting areas located around the docks. It was pretty sleek and high-tech. Kind of felt like a cross between Metal Gear Solid, Tekken, and Def Jam: Fight For New York. But hey, Keith was pretty much used to this stuff. However, this tournament was something definitely new to him.
He was pretty curious about this tournament. But perhaps there might be something more than meets the eye. Keith would probably find out soon. There docks were pretty familiar. However, Keith didn't manage to find the person in charge of these docks.
Perhaps he might find the person in charge in this very tournament. Getting led into traps wasn't new to the senior. He's evaded traps during his time at 552. Normally a person would call out for somebody. But not Keith, from his past experience, he would play the quiet game. Without saying a word, Keith quietly entered the warehouse.

Waiting for a response Cliff only chuckled a little at the silent response from his first opponent. In a loud confident voice Cliff then said, “Find you don’t have to say anything, but you should know that I can track everyone who uses a keycard so your identity won’t be a secret for much longer.”
As he was laughing the green hair person then flipped open is phone and started to enter keys. As Cliff was doing this he was making lots of noise so only a completely moron could not find him.
After a few more Clicks the loud voice then added, “Ok I am logged into the system. I can read your file right now if you want and find out everything about you or you can introduce yourself. It’s your choice.”
As soon as he was done saying that comment his eyes immediately diverted towards his shard on his right bracelet. It was glowing a bright neon green demonstrating that the quality of the fighter that just enter. His shard was growing hungry and it could hardly stand to wait one more minute of waiting.
In a much lower voice Cliff then added with a serious intent, “Please tell me you feel it too.”

“Find you don’t have to say anything, but you should know that I can track everyone who uses a keycard so your identity won’t be a secret for much longer.”
Keith looked down at his keycard. Now he knew that the keycard acted as a tracking device. In a sense it felt like he was in the Kazahana flash animations at Lifepoint1. Least Keith knew it wasn't a trap. Hopefully it wasn't a trap.
“Ok I am logged into the system. I can read your file right now if you want and find out everything about you or you can introduce yourself. It’s your choice.”
Might as well introduce himself to this person. However, Keith didn't reveal any of his past at 552 so the person wouldn't know that much. Keith made damn sure that his identity would be secret. Didn't want any old skeletons coming out from the closet and hunting him down at this moment. Especially the hard work Keith put forth with this new "life."
"Name's Keith," the senior said with an English accent. He had on a pair of black leather pants, a black shirt, black shoes, black gloves, and black shades over his eyes. His long black hair was tied back into a bun with two chopsticks holding it in place.
He cleared his throat.
"But humor me... What does the system tell you about me?"
Keith could definitely feel something going on. He would probably figure that out soon.

"But humor me... What does the system tell you about me?"
After hearing that comment Cliff only laughs out at that comment. This is the system that Cliff uses to maintain his peace, and his control in this section of the city. How occurs this piece of equipment is none of anyone’s concerns, and all they really need to know is that this system is what gives Cliff his power to rule. Of course it is these shards that will give Cliff his power to dominate.
In a loud voice Cliff then replied, “You think I will tell you about this system that I run, and use to control the docks? All you have to know about this system is that I see and know all that happens in my domain. Now can we cut the cit chat, and get down to business.”
Squeezing his right hand into a tight fist Cliff then said out loud, as he stared at his right hand, “How do you feel about your shard? That is your lifeline here.”

“You think I will tell you about this system that I run, and use to control the docks? All you have to know about this system is that I see and know all that happens in my domain. Now can we cut the cit chat, and get down to business.”
...
Keith didn't want to know the specifics of the system. All he wanted to know was what the system told this person about him. That was all. He didn't need to know all the other stuff about the system. But perhaps he'd find out eventually. It could go good for him in the future. Especially since Keith's trying to get certain people to come over to SoCal.
There's been rumors of Auroth arriving in the area. But that hasn't been confirmed yet. Perhaps Keith would look into that in the future.
“How do you feel about your shard? That is your lifeline here.”
The shard. Aw yes, the shard was indeed glowing. But Keith had to be calm and collected in a fight.
"I feel whatever the shard feels," Keith calmly answered. One must be like water because it can take on any size, shape, or form. This was why water was the most powerful element. Seemed the shard had some special qualities to it. Keith's mind, body, and soul, would have to be in sync with his shard.

"I feel whatever the shard feels.”
“That’s a nice answer, but I wonder if it is the complete truth,” Cliff answers in a sarcastic tone with a hint of madness. It maybe just Cliff’s shard, but Cliff could feel the thirst of his shard as it craved for substances. It was the hunger that was driving Cliff insane, and he intended to quench this seemingly undying hunger for violence.
Now standing up in the ring, Cliff slowly turned to his soon to be opponent with eyes full of a dark desire filling up his very being. In one movement Cliff jumped out of the ring and landed on his feet a little distance in front of Keith.
With a grin on his face Cliff then said, “My shard is tired of waiting. It wants to feed off of your power, and I can only guess that your shard is feeling the same way.”
Without wasting another moment Cliff launched himself straight towards Keith. Since it was a short distance it took Cliff less then a second to get towards his opponent, at which time Cliff planned on throwing a right jab straight towards his opponent’s chest. His right QI gates were open so that meant that if the attack hit then any sort of defense his opponent would put up just became useless. Of course since it was a low about of energy in his hand that damage shouldn’t be to major, but enough to tell him that something strange is going on.

“My shard is tired of waiting. It wants to feed off of your power, and I can only guess that your shard is feeling the same way.”
Great...just lovely...
This was what the tournament was about, feeding off peoples' shard powers. But sorry, no dice. Keith wasn't going to let anybody feed off the powers of his shard. People could try, he'd just have to kick their asses in response. He wasn't chosen by the Crimson Fury for nothing.
The guy didn't hesitate one bit as he threw a right jab toward's Keith's chest. Luckily, Keith could be both offensive and defensive when he's fighting. If this guy wanted a fight, Keith was definitely going to give him a fight.
As the punch came at Keith, he would respond promptly by circling a bit towards his left to evade. At the same time, Keith would quickly grab his opponent's wrist with both of his hands and execute a Morote Dori where he would flip him forward onto the ground using his own momentum against himself.
Should the Morote Dori connect, Keith would release the hold and step back a few steps to distance himself from his opponent.

As Cliff moved forward for the attack he gin as he notice the quick evasive move that came from his opponent. It was a simple move with good reflex, and naturally what a person would do in that position would be to deliver a swift counter to knock his opponent of balance. After the balance was removing then the attacker would be defenseless, but Cliff was never one to loss his balance in a fight since that is the source of his fighting style.
As soon as Keith dodge the initial jab Cliff quickly lean forward as he slide his left foot up as another brace for the next stage of the attack. Once his left foot was on the ground Cliff would quickly pivot on it and turn his entire body to deliver another attack with his left hand straight towards Keith’s gut.
Should this connect then it would do more damage then a regular punch since at the point of impact Cliff would inject some of his Qi energy straight into his opponents body causing more damage for the physical attack.

Keith managed to evade the right jab. However, his opponent had a left jab lined up aimed for his gut. It was Keith's turn to attack. Before his opponent could attempt to make the jab connect, Keith would use his speed and quickly move forward. It seemed that the fight was getting pretty interesting.
So this is an actual fighting tournament and not a ploy...
Getting close enough, Keith would quickly catch his opponent across the chest with his right arm. Keith and his opponent should be standing side by side with the right arm across the chest area and under the arms. Should that be the case, Keith would use his strength and lift his opponent up and then fall forward to drive him back first onto the floor for a Sidewalk Slam aka Rock Bottom.
He would be fighting new opponents in this tournament. Keith would have to fight fiercely but also wisely and intelligently.

As Keith moved forward it looked like he might be able to avoid most of the attack, but with how Cliff’s attacks are structure only a little graze can significant damage. This can all be contribute to his special Qi that he develop, and since he does not use its full power often most people can’t comprehend his power.
As his opponent brought his right arm across Cliff’s chest Cliff prepared for his next move. First thing Cliff did was preceding his with left jab in hopes that it would connect. The next action was Cliff rotating his right hand in a quick motion to loosen it a little. Once his grip was loose Cliff would then move his right elbow back completely in a swift movement.
As he would do that Cliff would use that momentum not only to break free from Keith’s grip, but also to reposition himself. So instead of being side to side, Keith would be right in front of him with little to no defense. With both hands free Cliff only smirked as he then attempted to grab Keith, like a bear hug, but instead of throwing Keith, Cliff would bring both hands in and have them tap Keith’s ribs causing a rush of his Qi into his opponents body. At which point Keith should be facing some massive internal damage.

Impressive...
As his opponent attempted to shake loose the attempt at the Rock Bottom, Keith would have something else in mind. Using the speed to his advantage, Keith would still keep his arm placed on the opponent's chest but would move it down to the waist area. There was still the issue of the left jab that was still coming at him.
At the same time, Keith would circle around to avoid the jab. From there, Keith should be standing behind his opponent. Should that be the case, Keith would bring his left arm around his opponent's waist locking both arms together.
From there Keith would use his strength and lift his opponent up and fall backwards and slam the person onto the floor back first for a Belly-to-Back Suplex. Should the move be successful, Keith would keep his arms locked around his opponent's waist and execute another Belly-to-Back Suplex before releasing the hold.

Now cliff was standing there with his opponent grabbing him by his waist, and trying to use brute strength to lift Cliff up. Leaning forward Cliff used his own strength to keep himself on his feet, and at the same time Cliff’s next move went into action. With both arms forward Cliff transfer the energy that were in his hands down towards his elbows.
Once that was complete Cliff would then send both of his arms backwards causing his elbows to connect with his opponent’s ribcage. The power maybe less then it was before, but there should still be enough to rupture something. ooc: short

As soon as his opponent put up resistance by using his own body weight to keep himself planted, Keith quickly released the waist lock. Seemed the opponent had a counter attack for the Belly-to-Back Suplex. But Keith had a counter in place as well. It was a good time to use one of the many counter-attacks in his arsenal. Seemed that the opponent was attempting a double elbow jab to the ribs. Good ol' fashion Bruce Lee there. Bruce Lee was famous for that move along with a bunch of other moves in his films. As the elbows came straight for the ribs, Keith would quickly react and swiftly slip both arms under the armpits, from there he would lock the hands behind the neck area. Should Keith be able to do that, he would push his opponent's head forward against the chest applying a good amount of pressure for a Full Nelson Hold. At the same time, Keith would bring his right leg backward and drive it forward into his opponent's lower back area with a hard knee strike, bring the leg back and drive into the back with another hard knee strike.

As Keith slipped his arms underneath Cliff’s underarms both of his hands slightly grazed Cliff’s elbows. At that moment the energy that where in Cliff’s elbows transfer directly into Keith’s hands. Normally, the energy would disperse along a targeted area, thus getting rid of the bodies natural defenses leaving it venerable to a direct attack.
However, in this situation Cliff was only able to transfer the energy into his opponent’s arms with only slight contact. Also, since it is the arms the energy and damage would only pertain to Keith’s hands and forearms. This is enough, however, to disturb Keith’s hold on Cliff since the energy transfer should make Keith’s arms extremely numb and venerable.
Due to the immediately loss of strength in Keith would lose his grip on Cliff’s arm for an instance. During this moment Cliff would bring both of his arms down to his side, and the force of this sudden movement could break, or at least fracture, both of Keith’s arms. This attack can normally turn a wall into dust, just think what would happen if it connects directly with an opponent.
