- Images: (... just look at the hair.)
Normal
Half X-Dressing
X-Dressing - Clothing: Her clothing is nothing fancy. If you look in her closet, you can tell that MinSu is a bit of a tomboy who will go with anything comfortable. She'll wear long jeans or cargo pants, and mind you, she does have clothes that are more fitting for the opposite gender. MinSu isn't one that "hates" wearing dresses and skirts, but she would rather prefer wearing things that cover her legs. For her upper body, you can find her wearing a sweater, whether it's a light one or not, in even the hottest of weathers, generally with a hood.
- Accessories/Scars: MinSu has a silver ring (just a band, really) that's hung around a thin silver chain around her neck, usually hidden underneath her shirt. She also has a thin scar on her back, just underneath her shoulder blade from falling backwards when she was younger against a rock. She always carries around her cell phone with her, in case of emergencies, and a paper clip. When cross dressing, MinSu always wears a cap to hide her medium length hair, letting the shorter layers fall off the the side to make her look more like a "boy".
Personality: To friends, Min may seem like the laid back kind of girl who seems to be extremely lazy, but unpredictable. It's a bit difficult to get to know her because Min isn't one to open up easily to those around her. She chooses her friends very carefully, or in other words she can be picky, as trust plays in an important role in friendship. She is respectful to those who respect her and blunt to those who uses such profanity to her friends. She is well-mannered, however, there is a small hobby of hers that can be looked down at in society: Pickpocketing. To those who don't know her, Min may seem like a loner; someone who would rather be alone than in a group and may look impassive. Although that is somewhat true, company isn't always a bad thing. Just depends on who it is. (;
Fighting Style: MinSu used to take TaeKwonDo back in L.A. back when she was eight or nine. She learned quite a bit, but quit after she reached her high red belt due to a loss of interest. MinSu was never one to fight, but she does know how to defend herself or run away if needed. She has a tendency to use her legs more than her arms in a battle, possibly because she has more lower body strength. Because MinSu lacks experience in fighting, she tries to avoid fighting altogether. She's more of the person to run away from a fight unless she's stuck and has no other choice but to fight.
Strengths: Although Minsu is physically weak, she likes to think that she's mentally strong. She knows when to stay away from dangerous situations thus the reason why she rarely gets into fights. She also has a keen eye which enables her to read attacks fairly well with a quick reflex to go with it. With strong legs and height, she is able to make long, but quick strides in running, allowing her to be a speedy little demon. Due to the constant running she does, her stamina builds up, which let's MinSu run long distance.
Weaknesses: The problem with MinSu is that she can be too trusting even though she is picky with the people she associates with. Something she lacks is a mere physical strength which tends to drag on a fight longer than necessary. Due to her lack of experience in fighting, her knowledge in combat is limited to cheap attacks, simple kicks and punches. Another weakness of hers would be her poor memory. Although somewhat intelligent, MinSu tends to forget things easily, such as birthdays and names.
History: MinSu was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea in a small orphanage that consisted of five or six other children. Her biological parents had only been sixteen when they had her, and with education playing a big role in the Asian country, they were forced to put MinSu up for adoption. MinSu, currently, has no whereabouts of where her parents are, or what they're doing, or if they have any other children. They, on the other hand, are searching for MinSu.
In the orphanage, MinSu was surrounded by the male majority, which explains the way she dresses. There would be times when someone would want to adopt MinSu thinking she was a male, but once they found out she was a female dressing as the opposite gender, they went somewhere else. The "parents" of the orphanage tried getting MinSu to dress more like a proper lady, but failed horribly and gave up any kind of hope. The boys would treat MinSu like one of them, but they kept in mind that MinSu wasn't really a boy, and gradually, as they went through puberty, a few guys from the orphanage had developed a small crush on her.
MinSu was always the quiet of the bunch, secretive, mysterious. None of the guys knew of her background, but figured that it was a horrible one and felt a pang of pity toward her. Wherever they went, they allowed MinSu to come along, but she would always be toward the back watching silently. The kids found this to be a little creepy, but none of them would admit that. They were all 'men' afterall, and she was only a girl.
She was seven by the time she started learning how to pickpocket. Getting the idea from watching a movie with the other kids, MinSu soon learned that there was an art in pickpocketing. Her first couple hundred attempts mostly ended in failure because of her inability to be swift and quick. There were times when MinSu decided to quit, but this soon became a hobby for her, and she found it rather exciting. As time progressed, MinSu developed her own ideas and came up with strict guidelines to follow, one of them being to only steal from those who seemed rich and snobby, and another would be to give the money she got to the poor. Though getting caught many times also meant that the parents of the orphanage would get into heaps of trouble. In the over populated Asian country, they would blame things on the parents for teaching their children "improperly".
MinSu, to lay low, stopped attempting to pickpocket people for a little over a year, and focused on school work. Wanting to go to the America's one day, she studied more of English than any other subject. She stopped going out with the others just to work on her accent, and her English teacher from school, after watching how hard she worked, decided to tutor MinSu further more after class.
She was fourteen by the time a family finally came to adopt MinSu, seeking a daughter because their son had wanted a younger sibling, but the mother was unable to produce a child. It all happened accidentally when the three were on vacation in Korea, and the son had gotten lost, and MinSu had helped him. One thing led to another, and soon, she found herself on a plane to California with a new family and a new school.
