IT'S SUMMER!

Okay. Well it's been summer. And quite frankly, we've all be creating a wonderful story, seeing the development of things from Chi's constant exposure to violent rapes, Varsity Captain Aureus's depression and getting into various fights, School Captain Mitsuki, the only seemingly normal and sensible person around here, to Valekin's outright insanity and cannibalistic tendencies, and things like a failed 'Tournament of Shards' tournament and the whatnot. The paramount presiding with... well, up to this point? A God Quest where nearly EVERYONE died and to current times, the Emergency Assembly, which is making quite the spectacle, eh? But have we forgotten our roots? Well... if so, here's a link:

In memory and honor of the XIN series by Steve and Max... let's see how much you, the people, have developed. Who you have become IC. What role you have filled. The sinister and power mongering Mister Dimir? Have you become the stoic, silent, but absolutely all powerful Andre? Or have you become the secret hero of the story, XIN himself?

I've tried comparing, I've tried contrasting.. and I know some things may be off, but I'm hoping for those of the others of you who vote will help nominate the proper people to those positions. But aye, I cast my vote!

Also... Apparently, I forgot Finrak. I've added him.

Xin: Aureus Hayes Aside from Mitsuki (I was afraid I might have to nominate her a freaking '3' times.. XD) Aureus has that 'I don't care, let me just do what I need to do' personality bit about him. He's also fast, and among the most beat up. Resilient. He has that 'Xin' feel to him. And he's maintained it fairly well, aside from some developments...

Ghai: Valekin Von Kaluskov XII Ghai is perhaps among the only few in the series I can say are close to 'insane', in his methods of attack. Both are methodical in how they carry out their goals, the main difference in being that Valekin is searching for an NPC-almost-not-existing faction, whereas Ghai is seeking to destroy the school system. I'd say Jonathan maybe, but, Jonathan's only example of fighting like Ghai would be in the Emergency Assembly, among the few times that a fight has ever really been seen. Therefore, with Valekin's development of character... yeah. I'd say Valekin fits the bill.

Andre: Travis Delmonte Two things come into my mind when I nominate him as 'Andre'. Strength and endurance. This guy can take a fucking PUNCH. I haven't however seen him in RP enough to say everything for certain, but, y'know... it's not bad. I'm nominating mostly on basis of statistic observations.

Legend: Mitsuki Park With the void of Jyo, we don't really have any strong, benevolent fighter out there here, really. I would nominate Jyo, but he doesn't really come on here. Aureus, Mitsuki, and (maybe I'm biased) Jonathan may have a bit of it here, but Aureus is too divided, Jonathan's too weak... Actually, aside from some personality bits, Mitsuki's a perfect for this.

Mil: Ian Ian is, for the most part, really, incredibly fast. However, just like Mil, his strength leaves much to be desired. Also, while he isn't exactly 'servile', he shows tendencies to be like that of having a mind that is more idealistic. However, for how long this may be, until it turns into something negative, I'm not so sure, but for now.. he seems like a good example of Mil to me.

Barrack: Hiroko Kinda hard to decide. On one hand, we have Hiroko, the bastard who has nigh-unlimited strength. However, Barrack gets beat up much more easily then that. But Hiroko can give off a rather 'brutish' persona. Then we also have Thrush. And granted... eh. He's insane, but he doesn't seem to be without reason. Mr. Asiv is plausible, but he would appear more as a Dimir, since he seems to be orchestrating something beyond all this. Oh hell, I'm going with Hiroko on this one. XD

Ralph: "Thrush" Eh... the only reason I say this is because of Ralph's fighting style (Thrush has 'Shotgun', Ralph has Strong Rushmore.. or whatever it's called, but both revolve around really fast boxing-styled punches). Also, both get beat up frequently enough, and have 'loyalty' ties with them, with Ralph continuously seeking out strong masters to fight under and Thrush.. y'know.

Hanto: Aureus Hayes Hanto seems to be the most peaceful out of the 3 student hierarchy members of Varron Academy. He is skillful... with his legs. But then, he seems to be angered at himself, for his inadequacy for being an incomplete fighter, for not knowing how to utilize his arms for everything, except for balancing out his own kicks. Much more potential to be seen... and with Aureus, I see it as a match. Aureus is the guy who, while not suffering from any physical anxieties, is the calm, cool-headed person.. when he isn't angry. Very much like Hanto. He is passionate.. both are, and can be irrational. Both are idealistic, both want peace... And, really, I haven't seen anyone with a 'kicking only' specialty here.

Kiz: Karel Soresu Hmm... who among the established students here, aside from Aureus and Mitsuki and a few others seem like this? Eh... I'm gonna nominate Karel for this. Granted, Karel is actually TOUGHER then Kiz, but personality-wise, they've both got that.. 'cool' thing to them. This is the only one I'm really mixed on, but, eh. Aye. It's the 'cool factor'. That's the one thing about them that matches.

Finrak: Zachariah Blu Rose (Saint) The one main thing about Saint (where the hell has he gone!?) is that baseball training with Mitsuki. He's pretty good at throwing, catching, etcetera etcetera... as generally, successful baseball players must be good in all areas of sports, including running, catching, throwing, and must have adequate strength. He seems sorta multi-purpose to me, but then, I haven't had the pleasure of RPing with him, so, I can't say...

Steven: Kane "Akuma" Hikari Y'know... Kane seems to me more like an angry guy, maybe more of a 'Goth' to me, and many other things.. but, I still don't know much about him. For now, unless he pops up again.. I'll call him a Steven.

Max: Evan Robinson I don't know too much about them yet, and in the series, Max and Steven were just a couple of random fighters. That'll undoubtly change in the future, but for now, I want to recognize him as a Max. ^_^ I admire the fact that you've stuck with us, Evan.

Goth: "Thrush" Hmm... who's the most masochistic person here? Valekin? Or Thrush? -_-;;; Thrush. Sorry. I'm hoping I'm not being biased towards my own characters, and in truth, I've been considering nominating Kane, but... I haven't seen him on lately. And if he's deserted the board.. well, I don't want to nominate someone who's not going to be here. If he does, I'll edit this accordingly.

Dimir: Mr. Asiv At first, I agreed with how Mr. Asiv resemebled Barrack. But that has changed. Much has changed in the past few months. Mr. Asiv has developed.. as a character. He has deeper plots, deeper ideas... he has some hidden agenda that he keeps from everyone else, and he enjoys his power. He is a bit off, like Dimir, he is many things... but for a man who plays both sides of a shady deal, I think Mr. Asiv has come a long way, since the beginning of Public High School #259.

Silvia: Maxwell Parker Kinda sexy, kinda a few things, y'know? She's definetely got the spunk, she was originally even the original version of Silvia to an extent, and in terms of OOC and IC relationship, in the same manner of how Silvia seems to have both an 'outer personality' versus her 'inner personality'... yea. I think I got this one down. Max makes for a good Silvia... (It was either her or Chi..)

Oton: "Dylan" He's mellow. He's harsh. He has loyalties, and his true intentions are his own, and he does what he needs to, I suppose. Vibe among other things.

Dom: Carlos "Dark Chrynos" Khundar Look, I'd say "Kaufman" but I don't like nominating my own characters, and I haven't developed "Kaufman" nearly enough. While the two have definetely similar ideals, I think Carlos has a lot more potential, he just needs to get his ass into gear, among other things.

Jix: Mitsuki Park Granted, this one I had difficulty on. Mitsuki is the most quiet, but for the most part, she seems like a bit of a drifter, while showing the most amount of intelligence. She has shown maternal feelings in terms of development, but in terms of analyzing the situation of the school... well for now, she seems far too aggressive. Then there's the new teacher, Miss Violet. Unfortunately, she doesn't nearly have the same amount of seriousness as Jix does, and there hasn't been enough development of her character to warrent her as a Jix. Now, to the most extreme of these 2 is a third, Oki Nanda. She actually seems a lot more silly, and shows lack of insight, generally being more of a source of comedy... Y'know what. Thinking about it, Mitsuki, in the Emergency Assembly has shown the most amount of realization of the situation, passive fighter that she is.

Zumi: Calamity Scorn Not really the fighter, she has a strong affinity with strong people, or people who seem to hold up for some greater justice. And in the same manner that Zumi met Xin under initially harsh conditions, same with Jonathan, though, storyline wise, its different in how things have turned out. However, she seems to me like she has a perfect personality fit for this.

Ceer: Amuri Chihiro Okay. Maybe she's not as spunky as Chi, but when it comes down to it, they both know how to fight, they're both fast, and they're both resilient in their beliefs. Also... I don't know. For me, it's just a vibe feeling that I get in terms with this.

Min: Eurydice Stone I've been looking over some past threads with her... and her relationship with Leon on this board, well, makes for a very Min like feel... I can't say about this 100%, but in relevance with the past Xin Replica awards, and since she seems to come on at least once in a while, I'll just leave it to her.

I'm not going to participate in this, though I sanction it. Because I don't feel there are many TRUE matches, as most of us are rather unique, and not based off of XIN characters.
