Zan stood on the platform, with all of it's raving lights and such. Raised platform- hah! Who would have thought that he would get into a fight over an elevated platform. Unfortunately he had his hands inside the pockets of his loose jeans. Bleh.
Facing his foe, Zan watched the male with curious eyes. This guy....he seemed to give off an aura of power. Sheer, unbelieveable power. Almost as if his experience and fighting intent was a weapon itself.
No matter- he would put up a good fight. Shifting his body into a more comfortable position, Zan tensed as he placed both of his feet into a defensive stance.

I must be getting rusty...
Keith needed to shake off the "rust" that was building up. In short, it meant that Keith was getting rusty in his fighting. To get rid of the rust and "lube" up the parts of the machine, Keith needed to get into more fights. This would be one of the many fights that he would be getting into in this training regiment.
He stood there in front of his opponent as they both stood stood on top of an elevated platform. The platform was elevated high above the ground as the ravers danced underneath. Keith was primed and ready as the energy from the club seemed to infuse him with a sort of energy and excitement. But, those eyes of excitement were covered by his black shades.
His gloves were starting to glow as if they were hungry for action. And damn, those gloves were still heavy... The gloves still weighed at least ten pounds a piece. Keith was virtually wearing ten-pound weights over his hands.
Heaven's Judgment, the left glove was glowing a bright light blue as it emitted bolts of electricity. Hell's Punishment, the right glove was glowing a bright crimson red as it started to emit flames of fire. He would literally deliver Heaven's Judgment and execute Hell's Punishment. Though the gloves pack a lot of punishment, Keith still needed time to get use to the weight and feel of these things.
The more fights Keith got into, the easier it would be to use these gloves.
Now, it was time to fight. Without saying a word, Keith would stand there and stare his opponent straight in the eye through those dark shades of his.
Keith would wait for his opponent to make the first move. He would stand there all night if he had to.

Zan watched the intimidating opponent of his through his own, semi asian eyes. How scary the man looked, dressed like someone out of a weird sci-fi shooter flick, with his weird shades and long coat. His fists seemed to emit an unusual aura of sorts: one fiery blue lightning, while the other glowed a hellish red. Hopefully the guy wouldn't use his fists for this fight.
Slowly, Zan took a few steps forward, then took a few more back. Suddenly, his foot slipped momentarily as he stepped off the platform halfway. Leaning forward, he jumped and landed in the middle of the platform- and stared at Kieth for a moment.
"So, who makes the first strike?"

OOC: Sorry about that. Been busy and preoccupied.
"So, who makes the first strike?"
Keith remained silent as his opponent asked who would strike first. He wasn't the type to attack first. In combat, Keith tended to prefer using all sorts of counter-attacks. So far, Keith was trying to adjust to the weight of his gloves. Still, they were pretty heavy. Each glove had weighed at least 10 pounds each.
That would mean, Keith literally had 10 pound weights over his hands. For now, Keith would not focus on using hand strikes. Perhaps his feet will suffice.
While remaining silent, Keith would give the indication that he would let his opponent give the first strike. This should be an interesting fight tonight. Keith needed to shake the rust that was building up anyway.

The first strike belong to him...hmm...where to strike. Where to strike....
"I'll go first then-"
Zan pushed off with his right leg, and dashed forward, aiming for Kieth. About 2 feet from his opponent, Zan would plant his good left foot onto the ground, and raise his right knee upward for the guy's midsection-
only to plant it down in front of Kieth. But...that was not his intention at all. As soon as the foot planted, Zan would use the forward movement and bash his head against the college freshmen's chest.

"I'll go first then-"
Keith watched and observed as his opponent would come at him. Instead of throwing a knee strike, his opponent would headbutt him in the chest. Interesting move on the boy's part. However, the pain did nothing to faze Keith.
As soon as the boy headbutted the chest area, Keith would step back a few inches. He would then bring up his right knee aimed for the boy's face. If the knee strike connects, it should force his opponent to fly upwards hunched back. Should that be the case, Keith would whip out his right foot with the knee elevated and execute a hard front snap kick to his opponent's chest.
Playtime was over...

Zan felt his headbutt connect- but his foe didn’t seem affected by it. He watched as the lightning fast knee came upward towards his face. Oh please- not the face!
Gritting his teeth, Zan quickly backed away as he felt the knee collide with his forehead- hard. Stars flew as he tumbled backwards, out of reach- and enough to make him return to his original position. Dazed, he stood up and prepared himself for the next attack.
His legs shook a slight bit- but he held them steady. His all was put into this fight- a new experience, not to mention a new way of fighting.
Zan’s legs shook once more, as the sense of vertigo washed over him- just how hard was that knee?! Nevertheless, he began to stagger left and right, his movements erratic. He would stumble to the right first- body leaned toward Keith, then to the left- then the right. Unpredictable, unstable and weird- it was perfect for his current status. Albeit, he maintained a good distance once more- he wouldn’t last long.

Keith just stood there and watched as his opponent staggered from left to right dazed after that knee strike to the forehead. Looks could be deceiving. He had no idea what a person like his opponent would be doing in such a staggering state. Instead of attacking, Keith would stick to defense. If it weren't for the gloves, Keith could move at his full speed.
But, Keith needed to get used to those gloves. Right now, Keith wouldn't attack. He would stand there and observe his opponent's movement. Once again, Keith would wait for his opponent to make the next move.
He would observe and analyze his opponent's next step. But, it was highly likely that this fight wouldn't last that much longer.

A feeling of panic and possibly desperation rose up inside Zan as he watched his opponent stand there. Grinning for a moment and still staggering like a drunken boxer he told Keith
"Your the calmest opponent I have faced yet- it's impressive."
Stagger stagger
He wobbled a bit here and a bit there, as his vertigo continued to spin his mind around like a top. His insides felt weird and his head felt oddly light. He was sane though.
Sane enough to dodge attacks- and avoid confronting his foe.
Sane enough to keep an eye on Keith and think his plans through.

"Your the calmest opponent I have faced yet- it's impressive."
Keith remained silent. He would remain calm as well in the midst of this match between himself and this young boy. As the boy continued to stagger around, Keith would stand there and observe every single movement.
But looks could be deceiving as well. Would Keith attack? Not yet... He would wait for his opponent to make the next move. The trick was to remain calm and relaxed about things.

((About the whole stat discussion thing- i'm roleplaying with the stats I had when I started this fight- 13 CON and 16 WIS, albeit this is a STAT/RP fight, i'm still a bit on the tippy side- so sorry if it sucks XP))
Zan decided to stop staggering for a bit and stared at Keith. He tensed his body and went into a crouching position. Grounded, he just waited for his opponent as well- but inside his head he was facing a mental battle with his foe. Reaching down, Zan untied his shoes and held them in his hands.
Then he ran forward a few feet, turned on the spot whilst swinging his arms, stomped once, and performed a weird "baseball throw" at his opponent- throwing one of his shoes. Of course, he kept the laces in case he needed them later- but the shoe itself went flying. As it did, he ran forward again, zig zagging and sliding a bit since his socks had much less grip.
....then he tripped, rolled, slid and landed in a crouched position. This was really limiting.

Keith slowly watched and observed as his opponent stopped the staggering motion. He watched as the boy knelt down to untie his shoes. Was Keith going to act? Not yet... Then, the boy just ran at him and executed a baseball style throw. Instead of a baseball, the boy threw one of his shoes at Keith. Keith had to admit that this was an ingenious move to execute. Unfortunately, this attack wasn't going to work on Keith at all. As the shoe flew at Keith, he would turn his back to it. He would throw his body up into the air and make a kicking movement in a scissors motion. His right leg would kick high overhead and execute a Bicycle Kick in which the foot would connect with the shoe. Yeah, Keith was going to deflect the shoe back at his opponent.

The bicycle kick worked- and deflected the shoe. Zan watched, with wide eyes, as the shoe came right back at him- pretty darn fast. Standing up, he swatted his shoe out of the air with the other shoe and watched it fly up into the air even more. Worse than that- he was slipping backward- stupid angle.
"Gragh-"
He tripped over backward, fell on his back, caught his descending shoe, and stood back up.
Once more, he ran at Keith, and threw another shoe- this time, he moved to the left afterwards in order to avoid being hit. With that, he chucked the other shoe at his foe, from a different angle- and ran straight at Keith.
This was it.
Any longer and this battle would wear him out even more than he could handle. As he approached Keith, he executed a slide- which would end abruptly as he snapped a diagonal kick upward at his foe as soon as he could.

As soon as on shoe was thrown at Keith, he would tilt his head to the side and let the shoe pass. Keith calmly watched as his opponent ran to the left (Keith's right) afterwards. Then, the boy would throw the other shoe at Keith and run straight at him. Keith had to say it was pretty original.
If the boy was faster and stronger, perhaps the shoe throwing would've worked on him. But, it would not work today... Keith had to respect the boy's creativity and ingenuity.
Soon, the boy would slide and Keith and execute a diagonal upwards kick at him? Keith had to really respect the boy's ingenuity. But, the boy lacked the necessary speed and strength. At the same time, Keith's reaction was pretty solid.
However, the boy needed to be faster. Keith would bluntly show the boy he needed to work on his speed.
Keith would calmly step back and let the boy execute his kick. He would kick forward with his left leg aimed at either the upper or lower back of his opponent. Then, he would kick up with his right leg for a scissor kick. But, the kick with the right leg would be aimed for his opponent's leg.
This was going to hurt, for his opponent.
