The Past Behind the Mask

Born in England, the United Kingdom's capital of power and luxury, Thetis Jane'a'Lin Robbinson was a baby who came early by two months. Born at 1:30 in the morning, Feburary 14th of 1993, she was considered to be a miracle. Hospitalized for two weeks before given to her mother, they named her Thetis, defying the english name-sake and adapting a greek one to their family name.

As she grew up, she grew up in a mansion of luxuriousness. Never allowed to go outside, she lived in her room in solitude, taken care of by a night and morning nanny. Playing with dolls, admiring porscelines and the untouchable gifts given to her, growing a taste for the outfits she always saw; maid.

Growing up, she showed intelligence. A small dose, her mother would have said, but she was instituted into pre-school nonetheless. Never attaching to the other children, she became isolated in her own little world; never seeing, never believing. She had no interest in what the world had to offer her, it seemed, for her own crowd seemed to be sitting in the sidelines, outcasting her, calling her a burden.

Thetis reached the grades of the public system graciously. Instantly put into programs to test her wits, her parents wanted to proove her worth something other than a body mass. They held no love for her, never reading her to sleep, never tucking her in, never holding her in their arms. Always on business trips, always busy, never paying her any attention.

She excelled beautifully. Growing slowly, children no longer met her maturity and development; teachers understood her, and could have literate conversations with her. To occupy herself, Thetis asked her parents to buy her a library's worth of books; and so they did. They did not waste their money on children's books, but instead, they bought novels. Historical, geographical, fictional, and sexual. Design magasines, fashion booklets, things describing professions and the hidden eroticas of human life.

This is where she developed her love and like of the gothic lolita. She began to get her hair dyed, and be shown how to properly apply make-up, while having other sorts of clothes bought for her by her mother. Thetis never showed herself as spoiled, as she explored, but merely as an exploiter of the profiteering.

(Writer's Block. Generally: She moves away from England to get away from her parents, with the nanny they gave her, who had the last name Immortali. She took that last name, with her green pass, and came to the area with the nanny. Who passed away from cancer a short six months later. Starts highschool. Blah blah. I'll write it up when I can think of something better than this short shit.)

Description

Thetis uses the martial art of pressure points typically used in the art of "Karate", switchblade as a double-edged sword. As her typical fighting style is that of what would be considered graceful, she has barely any arm strength, leading her to rely on the "grace" of her fighting style.

Along with pressure points, she's skilled with her feet, more so than her hands/arms, hence the upper body is the weaker link in her figure.

She relies on pressure points to get the job done, along with the agility of her legs. It's a Khenpo style, and is used in dojo's today.

Here are all the points Thetis uses commonly:

o Liver - 3 = will render that foot useless, 14 = can cause damage to lungs/heart
o Lung - 1 = can cause nausea, pain down the front arm, 5 = increases pressure on joint locks
o Large Intestine (Colon) - 10 = increases pressure on joint locks
o Stomach - 5 = grants control of the head, applies painful pressure/pain, 9 = can cause knockout
o Governor Vessel - 16 = May cause paralysis/death, 26 = good control point
o Spleen - 6 = very painful! xD
o Heart - 1 = Very dangerous and difficult to reach; can cause permanent paralysis, nausea, knock-out...all depends on how hard
o Small Intestine - 16 = paralysis, cramping, knockout; typical effects. Dangerous point
o Bladder - 62 = temporary knock-out
o Kidney - 23 = painful point, may cause permanent damage, knock-out, loss of air; close to the heart
o Pericardium - 1 = sensetive even to the touch, good grappling control, 6 = used as a "universal", increases the effectiveness of any other pressure point
o Triple Heater/Burner - 17 = painful with pressure, lots of physical damage, 23 = knockout strike
o Conception Vessel - 14 = basic[/ul]

To make it fair, I took the system from my old 552 character to calculate. The pressure points rely on the person's constitution, and the attacker's own personal strength, dexterity, and constitution (not as much as the victim).

Depending on how hard and how fast the blow is, this calculates how the damage goes. So...

With starter stats: 20 (DEX) x 10 (STR) + 7.5 (1/2 of CON) = 207.5, then reduce that number by the vic's con. Example CON: = 25.
