"Wenn Sie mich gerade weg fallenlassen konnten hier, würde das groß sein. Danke."
"What?"
"Errr... Just drop me off here. That's all."
Wow. Spent a little too much time in the Old Country than I thought I did...
The taxi cab would skid to a sudden stop, the tall figure in the back of the cab's whole body jerking forward. Well, that's what happens when you don't put on your seat-belt, ne? He would pay the driver in full with a pretty hefty tip and would exit the door. It was a rather sunny day outside, beams of light striking down upon the figure's almost "angelic" face. Standing at 7 feet tall... This man literally towered above all those in the streets before him. Public High School #259. It had been quite some time since he'd been here, let alone taught there. That's right, Faust had returned. Still with unfinished business here, he saw no reason why he shouldn't return to his occupation as a teacher. And from what he heard, the school was currently in bad shape, somewhat of a "rut", as these americans would say. A major reason he came back was because several representatives of the school had somehow got in contact with the behemoth while he was an ocean away and informed him of their current situation with the school. Riots, uprisings, rebellions... Oh, the surely would not do.
Faust would continue his walk along the block until reaching the entrance of the school, heading for the main building. It was almost automatic for everyone's head's to turn in his direction while his presence was made known. He scoffed it off. Not like he wasn't used to it at this point, ya know?
Whispers, whispers, whispers...
"Is... Is that Professor Faustus?"
"It HAS to be! But why the fuck would he come back to this shit-hole? My brother told me stories about how he..."
"Really?! That's the same guy...?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah..."
Here they come again. Fuckin' rumors and stories are impossible to stop from spreading, especially when you got students with such loose jaws. But what can you do? There was an obvious tension between every individual and Faust as he made his way from the main gate to the central building. He had to report to the general office to receive his papers and designated classroom check-ins. People were obviously moving from this beast of a man's path as worked his way into the building...
Here we go again...

It had been some time since a school activity of sorts had been set up and the pressure was on Ms Cassidy to bring some ideas to the board. Muttering to herself, she made some note on a clipboard in her hands. The clipboard was colorful, covered in deliberate and accidental paint on both sides, but it was pretty much expected of an art teacher.
The woman herself was just as colorful as the clipboard, dressed in a flowy multicolored skirt and black leggings ending in colorful pumps, two layered vintage tanks covered her torso under a colorful beaded necklace. Even her hair was vibrant, brilliant reddish pink cut in a bob with a thick headband perched on top of her head.
As she was walking and thinking, something caught her attention. Whispering, it came from the students soliciting near their lockers, their eyes darting toward the entrance where a very tall man stood, both comfortable and out of place with his surrounding. Marina quirked an eyebrow, casting her gaze over the students before clearing her throat.
"The bell rang three minutes ago, and I suggest if you don't want to spent your weekend scrubbing graffiti off the gym equipment and repainting it that you head to your classes. NOW."
She kept her eyes narrowed until the students, grumbling and sending death glares her way, shuffled off, still whispering a bit. The art teacher rolled her eyes, kids were so disrespectful. She turned her attention on the tall man, who even in her heels was nearly a foot taller than her and fixed a mild smile in place.
"Can I help you..sir?"

His eyes would fall on that of woman in front of him. She obviously wasn't a student due to the way she handled those students, so she had to be one of the new teachers. Hmmm. She wasn't that bad looking either, pretty cute. He'd nod and give a slight grin in her direction. This woman made it sound like he was some kind of stranger when, in fact, he probably knew more about this place than most people did. But that was of no concern. He just needed to make himself known to the faculty that he had returned. Making an acquaintance couldn't be that bad now could it? Especially when the acquaintance was a lovely lady standing before him.
"I've got business here. Returning to my position as a professor. Faustus Darien Ankari, at your service..."
He would give a slight bow, chuckling a bit as he did so, looking up at her intently.
"May I ask your name, mademoiselle~?"
His tone was that of a very soft one. A tone that he was not very accustom to but had learned to use when the time would arise.
((OoC: Sorry, just keepin' it short for now. thanks for replying. :] ))

[ooc; No prob! ^_^ I haven't taken out Marina in a while, so it's a good excuse *brushes dust off* XD]
Marina quirked an eyebrow of curiosity when he stated that he was a teacher here. Marina hadn't seen him here before but as he said, he was returning and Marina had only been teaching at 259 for a little over eight months, so she had more than likely arrived after he had left. Her demeanor changed from the cool people-friendly tone to one slightly warmer as she addressed her colleague.
"Well in that case, may I be the first to welcome you back, Mister Ankari."
The corners of her mouth turned upward, teal eyes glinting as she shuffled her clipboard to the left arm and extended her right hand in greeting.
"I'm Marina Cassidy, art department and student extracurriculars."
Vaguely she wondered what the students had been whispering about, now that she knew Faustus had been a teacher here, as now she understood that they had recognized him. Secrets? A shady past? Now, now, Marina, don't let your imagination run away with you...damn artists. She pushed the thought aside for now, as she was certain she would fill in the blanks eventually and wasn't really one to pry.
"Is there anything I can get for you? I'm sure Mr. Malice is already aware of your arrival.."
Gawd, she was sounding like some sort of secretary...blame the clipboard. Once she warmed us she was a lot more casual than this, but she didn't know anything about Faustus, and in light of the recent mayhem in the school, she thought it wise to be decidedly courteous until she learned more about him.

"I'm fine, actually. I was asked to return due to the sudden increase violence and riots within the student body. Not that there wasn't a massive amount of it before I left, but there's much more that needs to be tended to according to my knowledge and the information given to me by... Who was it again...? Malice?"
It wasn't that big of deal. He was here and that's all that mattered. Apparently, the need for teachers/enforcers was in great need for this school. And Faust still had some unfinished business in this area, so why not get paid for sticking around and busting some skulls open? He'd grin at the thought of it, a sick twinkle in his eye as he pulled himself up from his bow. The students roaming the hallway had still been staring, waiting for any sign of hostility to prove their theories correct about the loose cannon Faust really was. But he wasn't going to blow his cover JUST yet. He still had to gain the trust of the faculty, look up some information that would help his cause, then eventually pull the strings that would tie his plan altogether. Faust just had to wait for the right moment was all. Plans at #552 had been shot to hell, but he still could have his chance here. Especially if he pulls the right strings necessary to get things done.
All he needed was time... And he had plenty of it. Time to liqiuidate the current flux of gangs, riot-leaders, and etc... But that wasn't his concern right now.
"Mind escorting me to the general office, Ms. Cassidy~?"

Marina nodded at the mention of increased violence in the school, oddly enough the majority of it had all started when Alex Malice had dismissed the enforcers that Mr. Asiv had put in place before his untimely death. It was then that all hell broke loose. Thankfully it had died down a bit but not by much. Fights still broke out and general mayhem and chaos could be found in every corner. Marina broke up as much as she could, but they wouldn't be able to completely quell it until they weeded out the leaders.
"That's right, Alex Malice. He's the new supervisor. I'm sure you worked under Mr. Asiv? I never met the man myself as I started here after his passing."
She wasn't exactly sure if she should mention Asiv's death, as she hardly knew the man and therefore had no emotional attachment to the subject, but it could be a sore spot for someone else. Everyone these days were worried about being so politically correct and not harming each others feelings, but will turn around and sucker punch a guy in the face, so Marina figured in the scheme of things her little mention wouldn't be that harmful, it was just a fact. Asiv was gone, Malice was in charge of the school, instead of shedding tears on a man with a secret agenda they should be focusing on the situation at hand.
Cherry lips pulled into a grin when he asked if she could escort him to the general office. None of the buildings layouts had changed much since it had been built so she was sure he knew where it was, but Marina was free this class period and could probably check her faculty mail while she was at it. And besides, it left more time to learn more about this man.
"So, do tell me a little about yourself Mister Ankari."
She offered smoothly, jotting another note on her clipboard before turning her gaze on him as they walked down the hallway.

He noticed her grin. She was even prettier when she smiled. Grinning to himself, he'd give her a quick wink and continue walking down the hallway, hopefully with her at his side. A little about himself? Faust literally held back the urge to laugh out loud. What could he tell her? That he was convicted murderer, infamous gang-lord in New York City, and that he was committed to an asylum for several years at a time? No, no, no, no. If he wanted to win this one over he had to be rather... "subtle" about things. Hmmm. It took him a couple of seconds until he was able to come up with a few things to say. But improvision was never hard for him. So it was quite easy to cover up the fact that he might be concealing some facts that he didn't wanted revealed to his newest of colleagues just yet.
"Well... I'm 25 years old, I'm of German and Romanian descent, I'm a Public High School #552 alumni, and I just finished a 'tour' of my old home in Romania. But if you'd like to know more... We could always go out for lunch after this, if you'd like, of course."
He was droppin' hints like it were his job. But then again, it wasn't as though he were being a smug prick about it, ya know? Stretching out his arms, he'd watch as the students cleared from their path. A majority obviously frightened by his presence, his aura. Then again, that dark and frightening aura just seemed to travel alongside him. Not like he minded it though. He'd turn his head back to Marina once more and speak up.
"Why don't you tell me a little bit about YOURSELF now, ne?"

Marina smirked slightly when he winked at her...well wasn't he the charmer, eh? And not too bad on the eyes either. She noticed out of the corner of her eyes the looks he was getting from the student populace, and it only piqued her interest. Were they afraid of him? Even in their rebellious states of late they steered clear. Some of the younger ones just openly stared, and more whispers. It must be bothersome to have that follow you around all the time,, a silent note to herself.
"I'm 24, of equal American and Hungarian descent. My father's family fought in the Revolutionary war, but my mother's parents were the first of their family to travel over here as immigrants. And lunch sounds nice."
She added, returning the wink he'd given her earlier. Yeah that's right, Marina could be a bit of a charmer herself. Further down the hall a mini fight had broken out between two boys, one grabbing a hold of the other and flinging him in their direction. Bringing her arm arm, marina easily deflected the flying boy, sending him crashing to the ground. She picked him up by his collar, pulling the kid back to his feet.
"Ahh, Mister Carrows, I was just on my way to the office, I'm glad you could join me. And you as well."
The last part became an order as her gaze pierced the kid who had thrown the boy she apprehended. He froze in place for a moment, staring like a deer in the headlights before taking off down the hallway.

"Haha. You teachers are too soft. Letting students slip like that. But that's why I'm here..."
He'd turn to his fellow 'colleague', give another one of those ever-so charming winks of his and grin. Faust had taken an obvious liking to her and was willing to show her a good time, if she'd let him, of course. Which was obviously a yes. I mean, what woman in their right mind would deny him?
You can really be a smug prick, ya know that?
I suppose so.
"I'll be right back, beautiful. Wait for me, ne~?"
And with that, he was off and down the hallway at almost lightning speed. He was a god among insects physically at this school, so catching up to this little maggot wouldn't be difficult. In fact, it wasn't. Seeing as he came up from behind him in mere seconds. The student would swerved in and out of others but to no avail, once Faust's sights were locked... There was absolutely no escape. With that of the most graceful motions, he would pull his arm back to build enough momentum and grip forward to get a firm handle on the boys skull. With the already built momentum of moving and latching his hand out to grasp the boy, Faust would push forward into the ground, the student's face forced to grind up against it's surface.
Fatality. Flawless Victory.
"Tssssk, tsssk."
Throwing the boy over his shoulder with the greatest of ease, Faust would make his way back over to Ms. Cassidy. A smirk of accomplishment spread-wide across his face. He gestured to the unconscious boy over his shoulder. Maybe he went a little overboard there? Meh. No matter, he just knew how to get the job done. Well and efficiently.
"Kids these days..."

Mortal Kombat, much? Marina quirked an eyebrow as he called her soft...well teachers in general. The truth was she could have caught that vagrant, incapacitating the first before taking off after the second, but she felt that the students had seen enough violence lately to simply snip it in the bud rather than add to it, and besides, it was about time he got back into the swing of things, and also so she could see just how he handled students.
It didn't make her soft, it made her merciful. Yeah? Something.
But what she wasn't really expecting was the open flirting. Oh Rly? The young woman's face took on a curious expression, but she was a veteran to these kinds of things. She knew the field well, played with the best of them. She wasn't the type of woman who swooned whenever she came within three feet of a man. And she also knew her job, but it didn't mean she couldn't look, eh?
Apparently Faustus' approach to discipline was direct and physical. No mercy, hua(!). Taking off like a bat out of hell, he targeted the runner, incapacitating him quickly before slinging him over his shoulder and prancing back, pleased with himself. Marina offered a casual smirk in return, if not at the action but his manner.
"Simple and effective. Let's just hope he wakes up in time for his disciplinary hearing, hm?"
Honestly, she found the whole bit amusing, but the students thought quite the opposite. The boy in her grip had paled when he watched the tall man tackle the kid he'd been fighting, and thanked his stars that the roles hadn't been reversed. He went quietly, though not without a sour look on his face. He didn't want to have to face the tall man himself.

"Doesn't matter to me."
He would bluntly state. And truly, it really didn't matter to him. He had better things to do and worry about then whether or not a student learned his or her lesson. Poor attitude for a teacher, some would say. Fuck em', Faust would say. They would continue walking down the hallway until they reached the general office. Holding open the door for his female companion, he would continue in after her. Slowly dropping the unconscious student in one of the empty seats in front of the main desk, he'd go to the receptionist. Giving his information, the receptionist would shuffle through a file cabinet and hand over several documents to him. Apparently there were several labeled with big red letters. They had to be pretty urgent for someone to make the file so painfully obvious to look at in the file folder. Skipping to the part of his schedule, he'd find that he wasn't due for class for another few periods.
Ah, more time to socialize~!
"Well, looks like I have class around fourth period. Until then I'm free. So, Ms. Cassidy, I'd like to know if you'd wanna keep my company for a little while longer. Unless you have class, of course."
He'd turn to her, his file folder tucked underneath his arm. Hopefully she'd agree to stay for a little while longer. Not only was she pretty cute to look at, he could actually get some information out of her aswell.

Marina shrugged in a 'hmm, whatever works for you sort of way,' dragging the student down the hall with them and pushing him into an empty chair next to the unconscious boy. Clearly he'd been in trouble before because he simply slouched and waited to be called in to see the supervisor. Kids these days...the art teacher shook her head slightly.
While Mr. Ankari was signing in with the secretary, the red haired woman moved over to the teachers mailboxes, pulling the papers and envelopes from her little cubby...hole...thing. It was kind of tacky, with their names all under each box, but it was the most efficient and laziest way to deliver the memos to all the faculty. Marina shuffled through the brightly colored papers, her teal gaze dull as she scanned over the messages. Nothing important, and a waste of trees. Maybe she would turn it into a collage or something.
She looked back up at Faustus as he spoke, mentally recalling her schedule as well.
"I don't have my first class until around 3rd period, would you like to grab a cup of coffee in the lounge?"
Ahhh caffeine. America's battery. Marina had sworn she'd never get hooked on the stuff, but teaching in a public school meant early mornings, and she wasn't a morning person. She opened an envelope and scanned the content withinin without interest.
"Unless you have a better idea."
Okay, yeah, that did sound bad. Fore go the innuendo, it was early, she was practically sleeping standing up.

"Coffee would be good."
Leaving the main office with his files and such in hand. Scratching the back of his head, Faust knew that if he led them to where ever they'd definetly be in the opposite direction of where they should be. (IE: the teacher's lounge.) Memory-loss, ftw~? Looking back at Marina, he'd obviously given off the impression that he had NO idea where he was going. Forgetting such minor details was going to get him into trouble of he didn't pick up on this sort of stuff in due time, ya know? He was sure she didn't mind leading. Ms. Cassidy didn't seem like the kind of person to get irritated over such trivial details. And if she did, Faust would just tell her to fuck off like he did with most people who gave him that kinda attitude.
"Uhm... Teacher's lounge... That way? Maybe that way? Possibly this way~?"
With each question, he'd point in a different direction. Just for comical purposes. I mean, he was only friendly like this when it came to women or dealing with someone he'd consider an extremely close friend. (IE: his ONLY close friend, Ark.)

Marina slowed to a stop when she noticed him stop in her peripheral vision, looking up from her boring notices to find he was a bit stumped. To further this observation, he began pointing in random directions and Marina wouldn't help but break into a grin at the absurdity. Shaking her head she pointed to the right, which luckily had been one of his choices (granted, he'd pointed nearly every direction possible), and began walking in that direction, waiting for him to catch up before continuing down the hallway.
"So, how long did you work here before?"
Not knowing where the teachers lounge was was a slight indication that it had been a while since he'd walked these halls...or there was the possibility that the lounge had changed locations, which was possible as well. A small bit of information but she could file that under miscellaneous. Turning the corner, the teacher's lounge approached on the right hand side, in the same wing as the art studio. Marina loved the proximity of it, often lounging there whenever she wasn't teaching or working on something.
Opening the door she held it graciously.
"I believe you're looking for this."
Oh, zing. She couldn't help it, he was really easy to tease, and the best part was that he went along with it graciously. Adulthood was a big fun ruiner, making people bitter and cynical and straight up bitches, but Marina was an artist, a free spirit. A liberal (if she knew what that meant) and a downright eccentric fool sometimes, but it was better than a dreary suit-and-tie view of life, no? And it didn't mean she couldn't be serious or thoughtful, just that she chose not to.

"I believe it is~"
He would walk past her and through the door, thankfully for him, he didn't have the same frame Hiroko Katashi did. That hulking animal was more of a tank in comparison to Faust's slender, athletic build or else he'd take some of the door's structure along with him as he walked through. The lounge had changed quite a bit, it was alot larger than it was previously. Not familar with his sorroundings here, he'd just walk over to one of the couch's and sit down, gesturing for his colleague to join him. Stretching his arms out around the back end of the couch and kicking his legs up onto the table in front of him, he'd give one of those boy-ish grins of anticipation as she would approach. But behind every smile hides a motive. A motive Faust would not make known just yet. There was much he'd need to know before he could even make an attempt.
"So... How long ya been in California, Ms. Cassidy~?"
((OoC: Sorry, for it being sooooooo short. I'm not familar with the layout of teacher's lounge and whatever. So just lead me on this one, kiez?))
