Well, I got that bit across at least. As I listened to Alex my eyebrow raised higher with suspicion with each passing word. The first thing he thought of to mention was the view from the roof, that seemed odd… even for this place. Ms. Clavering seemed to continue from where Alex left off, but not exactly in the way I would have thought though it was information I was glad to hear. A riot where students went missing… interesting and exciting was not the words I would have used, far from it to be exact. More like dangerous and tragic.
Anyway the whole revelation brought some questions, which were general summarized in the one Alex asked. I mean, what started this riot? Who did? Why? I had figured out when, where and how… genius me. But really an answer to any of them would bring about many more so for now I planned on sitting still and listening to whatever answer this doctor had.

"Um... excuse me miss... could you tell me a little bit more about this riot thing?" Layla would just smile. Yes, she had caught the two boys' attention. This would be interesting.
This teacher didn't care if she scared these two out of school. Reactions were everything for her and it was fun to play around with it. "Not really~" she'd tease, "I do not know if I'm allowed to give much information about that."

"I do not know if I'm allowed to give much information about that."
Alex grinned. He grinned for two reasons: He knew that even if a teacher wasn`t allowed to say something, that wouldn`t stop him/her from saying it anyway and he had noticed the teasing undertone.
"Please?"
Not much else was needed. This teacher looked more like someone who wanted to talk about stuff then to keep it a secret. She would talk eventually.

I stood without saying anything, simply because I had nothing to say. Though the teacher’s reply was bothersome in one of two ways, either she really couldn’t say anything and what had to happen for that to be the case, or she was seriously teasing which… honestly I should have expected. I didn’t think the polite please Alex tried was going to work but at this point a pig could fly by and crap a gigantic golden dragon statue and I’m not sure I would be surprised. I might be more surprised if one didn’t show up and do exactly that.
Now while I wanted to know about this riot Ms. Layla was talking about from her and particularly what she knew, there were other ways to find things out. I could always ask other students though what more a teacher might know I couldn’t figure. Frankly I really just wanted the cold hard basics of it, no details thank you very much. They weren’t something I needed or wanted to know. Knowing too much was dangerous, I knew that much.

"Please?" Layla saw that spark in Alex's eyes. Aye, pure interest. That was something Layla liked a lot. She glanced at Cole, and he looked just as interested as well. Well, no point in hiding it any further, no? They'd prolly find information about it sooner or later, considering the speed of gossip.
"Well, since you've asked so nicely~" she said, her back leaning onto her wheelchair. "A riot broke out late in the morning of two weeks ago, things aren't so clear with me on the root of the event -- but I've heard one of the teachers were involved in getting the Enforcers riled up. That ended up as a riot that got them all angry and the Student body went out at them."
The woman crossed her legs, displaying that she was still able to use them despite the wheelchair. "Now, after that event... five students ended up missing. Five. Two days later, I found out that three more had been missing the week later. Interesting, hmm~?"

So teacher started it? Supposedly? Fantastic. I thought about it for a quick moment. This place was completely fucked up in so many ways. Ms. Layla seemed like the least worrisome as she was only odd and not causing riots… yet. Well, at least any paranoia I had in this school would look natural instead artificially induced. Anyway I shrugged lightly, “Woun’t say ineresting… disturbin be maor laikit.”
“No prabloem, my got notinta woarry bouw… cau no truoble be no truoble.” That was the basis of it. If I didn’t cause any problems here, which I intended to do, then there was no reason for me to be hauled off like these other students were. After all I saw no reason other than involvement in the riot for them to be taken away, which is what I figured. Either that or someone was randomly stealing high school students and in that case all I had to do was play the odds and I would be fine. There were plenty others to be taken before me if that was the case. Granted these outlooks might have been cold but hey it’s the world as it is.
