I don't like to start fights, I'm an artist at heart- lover as opposed to fighter, but I have no problem taking out the trash as needed. History Information
History:
Right well. Lemme think.
My parents, Regina and Thomas, were married at 18 as well- I was a mistake. They both worked, bought a house and were good enough parents for while they lasted.
Mom had a big heart, an endless amount of love..but Thomas got fed up with us pretty quick. He left when I was five. The most I remember about him was he always smelled like whiskey and cigarettes. He was a young casssanova..I think he died in a car accident or got married a few years later- I think we..we have a few other siblings.
But back to the story at hand.
My mother, God love her, carried on without a beat. I never really asked what happened to dad, as he was supposed to be at the toy store. So I'm happy with thinking he's been there forever. Whatever. So my mom worked her ass off as a nurse at the local hospital. She had a talent, my mom, an amazing healer and....as I noticed her stomach start to swell when I was around 10, a great lover of men as well.
While my mom romanced and worked, I was in school- never been very social but I took on guitar and piano lessons. Turns out I had one talent and it was playing music. Mom seemed to like it.
I met Charlie once. He was a big guy with bright blue eyes. Lohkey looks just like him and I think mom resented him a little bit- but she never really showed it. But she didn't really have time. After Lohkey was born- Mom married James. James Arichbald Smith was a cold hearted- woman beating, child hating monster. But for some reason, my mom was head over heels for him.. or at least his money.
Between helping with Lohkey, the few friends I had, had gotten into dancing- break dancing. I found out I could dance and again- my mother thought it was great. She encouraged it. I got quite a bit better.
Shortly after the marriage, my mother had been diagnosed with lung cancer and an aggressively growing tumor in the frontal lobe of her brain. James took us on and dealt with us as necessary- though as soon as our mother passed away, he handed us over to the nearest child care agency.
My mother had died when I was fourteen and I almost lost my little brother to the state three days later. But it was with luck that I convinced my grandmother, on my mother side- Nanna Gen- to save us.
Nanna Gen hated us- I know she hated me at least as I was the one that ruined my mother's life. But she like Lohkey. Loved him- which let me strike a deal.
She kept us for two years. Until I had a job, a car, and she had bought us a house.
So, now at 16- my brother and I live in a little house that my grandmother bought. She checks on us often and watches Lohkey in the after noon until I get home from work at about seven. After that, he's my problem until I get him to school. On the weekends he goes with me, my boss being a generous woman.
