The teacher's lounge was pretty aesthetically pleasing. For all the bullshit they had to put up with with the students, they damn wel deserved a nice place to relax when they weren't teaching. One of the walls was nearly all windows, letting in the natural light. A little kitchenette had an oven, sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, aaaand, a coffee maker. And not just the regular kind either. The kind that you see at gas stations with the different flavors and stuff.....yum.
Even the chairs were super comfy. Marina was sitting sideways in her armchair of choice, her legs dangling over the side and her back resting against the other arm, her candy apple red pumps lay on the floor at the foot of the chair, her toes dangling free in the open. In her lap was her trusty clipboard and she was thinking deeply, turquoise eyes trained on it, bright red lips in a pondering pout.
What was her dilemma? Planning a school event. She had had a few ideas lined up, but in light of the recent near demolition of the school, she decided to change her aim to some sort of fund raiser. But what?

Wheelchair sounds would ram close into the fellow teacher's ears as Layla's wheelchair slowly entered the room. Though it wasn't one of those fancy electronic self-running wheelchairs, it moved by itself -- it was something that was nothing out of the usual for something as unusual as Layla Serigawa Clavering. She closed the door and the racket of the hallways now blocked out by 90%. Now that her well-furnished classroom had been all but torn to pieces, she had to put in half her pay to have it redone. A sigh. Adorned in a rather lavish kimono and hairdo she woman peeked at the mirror before settling herself just beside Marina. The two weren't close, really... well... as far as she could remember. "Shinichi, could you fetch me a cup of green tea?" she would ask the little blue haired plush doll -- who was pretty much wearing a rather cute plush-sized yukata. Caffeine was dangerous at this point in time. The school was in chaos, reporters were everywhere just yesterday, and it seems the school will end up in a big financial crisis if things continued to be this way. ... Her student-patient had disappeared off the face of the earth too. Just... what the heck was happening to the world recently...? Well, she'll have to recheck the surveillance videos on the broadcast room. For now, Shinichi would seem to float off to make Layla's tea. "You seem to be in deep thought, Ms. Cassidy." she said, a smile feigning on the woman's face as usual, free of any worry.

Marina looked up as the sound of a wheelchair entered her ears, her train of thought breaking. It was okay because it really wasn't going anywhere today. A mild smile crossed herl ips as she recognized the eccentric Layla Clavering. The two hadn't really had that much chance to talk, but marina knew who she was, and appreciated the eccentric charm she brought to 259. However, she didn't understand the living doll thing she had, it was bewildering, but whatever...everyone has their quirks, right?
"Indeed I am, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be going anywhere."
She looked down to her clipboard and crossed something, taking a sip of the coffee in her other hand before continuing.
"I'm trying to think of a new social event. We haven't had one since that masquerade ages ago. However, I was thinking maybe we could do something along the lines of a fundraiser to help in funding repairs for the school. But I don't know what."

"Indeed I am, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be going anywhere."
As Marina continued on, Shinichi had floated over... bringing the sweet-blended cup of tea to Layla -- the porcelain floated right there in mid air as she took the cup and took a sip of the warm, green liquid.
"I'm trying to think of a new social event. We haven't had one since that masquerade ages ago. However, I was thinking maybe we could do something along the lines of a fundraiser to help in funding repairs for the school. But I don't know what."
The porcelain saucer would land softly on the table, just as Layla would have her teacup rest on it as she began to make her thoughts known... though, what were the things that Ms. Cassidy considered first?
"You seem to have crossed out quite a few already, may I have a look?" she would extend a hand, hoping that Marina would let her in on her previous ideas. It would be useless if Layla suggested a repeated idea that was already thought of and thrown away due to whatever reason.
Though, Layla did have quite a few in mind...

Nodding, marina would hand over her clipboard for Layla to see, it was a little messy and thought strewn but the basics were all there.
----
Carnival
Dance Casino night
Picnic
tea party
FUNDRAISER !!! car wash? cat wash? bachelor auction? bake sale? (who bake?) knitting circle? ...
SELL THEM TO SCIENCE
-------
Some of the ideas were ridiculous (selling them to science?!), and some required too much funding for the school's current budget but could be ideas somewhere down the road. Right now she had ignored the top of the list, focusing on fundraiser ideas.

And who should burst through the door with a scared look on his face, but Mr. Alex Malice himself. He would shut the door quickly behind him, facing it he would feel all around it moving from the botton to the top. Once he had done so he would nod in confidence with his hands on his hips and turn around, a cheesey smile on his face with his eyes closed. He would take a few steps before opening them to see.... TWO OF THE FEMALE TEACHERS WHERE ALREADY IN HERE!!!! He'd make a noise of surprise as he would go to one leg all three remaining limbs would go up for quick protection out fo surprise as his eyes went wide. After a moment his limbs would instantaniousely correct themselves, as he stood straight coughed once and said.
"Oh, uh.... Didn't think anyone would be in here.... Yet... And... Sup?"
He seemed more nervous than anything. his right arm behind his head scratching as he spoke. Wearing a black sweat shit with the arms cut off completely defeating the purpose and black jeans. His black hair was brusdhed back except for one bang that crossed over his face. In all rights people may not know or even trust him just yet, but he wanted to change that.

Layla smiled at the silliness of some ideas. "Selling them to science? It sounds good desu yo~" "Shinichi, dear. We can't sell them to science.""Why not...?" "Ethics. You know much about that, don't you?" she nuzzled the plush doll, taking it into her arms lovingly. "But seriously, Marina-- if I may call you that -- I think you're onto something with these ideas."A pencil floated out from Layla's purse and into her little hand. *Scribble* ... *erase erase* "Hmm..."*scribble* "What about these?"--------------------------------- Carnival
Dance Casino night
Picnic tea party
FUNDRAISER !!! car wash? cat wash? bachelor auction? bake sale? (who bake?) knitting circle? ...
SELL THEM TO SCIENCE
Sportsfest "festival" ---------------------------------- The woman sighed, thinking again about what other ideas would be good. "We could set up a sportsfest." She said, "We can set the Freshmen to Seniors in four teams and put them against each other in some sports and other things. They can compete in basketball and such, and the non-athletic students can manage stalls, booths, and other such activities..."The woman took her tea for another sip before she continued. "We could set the teams on a specific budget, and the team with the most points... win whatever award. This will give the students freedom to think about what they will do, and they can practically do anything... from washing cars to bake sales."
"They'll win, for the sake of pride."

The door opened and a tall, lanky African American wearing an absurd-looking black silk shirt with the top two buttons undone, black trousers and a pair of Italian wingtip shoes sauntered into the room. Closing the door behind him, he gave the room an appraising eye while ignoring the other teachers for a few seconds.
"Oddly nice..."
He half-turned his head and cast a lackluster glance to observe the other side of the room, his eyes passing over the other staff members.
"So this is where we wait for the inevitable demise...oh..."
For the first time, he noticed the other people in the room.
"...I should probably introduce myself. Darius Griffith."

Marina nearly fell out of her chair when the door slammed and a surprised sound split the air. She jumbled the clipboard as it was passed to her, righting herself in her chair, slipping her feet back into her candy apple red pumps. She quirked a manicured eyebrow, looking at the man as he straightened himself up and spoke sheepishly. Mr. Malice? Allllright....
Marina coughed, fighting back a grin.
"I'm well, Alex, just thinking up some events with Layla here."
She looked over the list, nodding, her smile growing a little wider as Layla elaborated her idea. She jotted down down notes as she talked, twirling the pencil in her fingers.
"That's fantastic. I think a sportsfest would be both fun and fund raising. Each team could have a small fee to sign up, and then the booths can all bring in a profit. Food and drink, souvenirs, school paraphernalia..."
She jotted them all down as she brainstormed, slipping her shoes off again and tucking her feet up indian style under her. She thought best with her shoes off. It was an artist thing. Her tain of thought halted once more as another member of the faculty wandered in, and Marina could nearly see the cloud hanging above his head.
"Marina Cassidy. Pleasure to meet you Darius."
She nodded in his direction, making another quick jot on the clipboard.

Some guy barged in all of the sudden.
Well, Layla was a little surprised, but not enough for it to show on her face. After all, she WAS a person who let very few of her emotions off to be seen by the world. She would blow lightly to the man, in silent greeting.
After all, she was busy sipping tea.
"Oh, uh.... Didn't think anyone would be in here.... Yet... And... Sup?"
"I'm well, Alex, just thinking up some events with Layla here."
Ms. Cassidy followed it up with a little positive feedback. The woman would place the half-empty teacup back on the table... sighing.
"That's fantastic. I think a sportsfest would be both fun and fund raising. Each team could have a small fee to sign up, and then the booths can all bring in a profit. Food and drink, souvenirs, school paraphernalia..."
"We could have the sportsfest last for a week or two, at least three days. We can also rent a few basic carnival rides, earn extra profit... maybe we can have people use the school pool for a limited time for a fee. " she didn't mind the new guy who entered just now, maybe glanced at him and went on to continue as he wandered, "We teachers could set a program and all that."
"...I should probably introduce myself. Darius Griffith." And so he finally went to introduce himself. Such a tall man, but his aura felt gloomy.
Made her want to reach for her pockets and take her tarot cards... well, which she just did and started to shuffle them.
"Marina Cassidy. Pleasure to meet you Darius."
Layla smiled at Darius, "Layla Clavering, it's nice to meet you... Mr. Griffith.~"

"Marina Cassidy. Pleasure to meet you Darius."
The man's right eye twitched suddenly. Pleasure?
"Layla Clavering, it's nice to meet you... Mr. Griffith."
His eyebrows narrowed. Nice!?
"LIES!!"
Darius clutched his head suddenly and keeled forward, dropping onto his knees. His steel-gray eyes dilated behind his glasses.
"Pleasure is nothing, nicety is a sham!!"
Almost as suddenly as his little outburst had began, Darius was back onto his feet and adjusting his cuffs with an affected air of sophistication. It was as though nothing had happened; a whimsical illusion of sorts.
"Yes, well, it's...tolerable... to meet you both, ladies."
He stuck his hands into his trouser pockets and glanced over at what Layla and Marina were doing.
"Ms. Clavering and Ms. Cassidy, making plans for school events?"

The door would suddenly open with a window shattering bang as Miss Eisenkasten entered the room. Her deep brown eyes were glowering underneath her unibrow in an utterly menacing expression. Her over-0large nostrils expanded and contracted, moving the brown facial hairs on her face in time with her heavy breathing. She cleared her throat. "I AM SORRY TO BEINK LATE." She hollered in her over-loud voice. "CLESS HULD ME UP. GIRLS HED TO BE FINISHINK THEIR BEESKETBALL GEEEM." ..... All those round, plump melons bouncing and jiggling as the girls darted across the gym, getting all sweaty and hot...FOR MISS EISENKASTEN?! VHY GIRLS, I DO NOT ZEENK I SVING ZAT VAY, BUT 'ELGA VILL TRY ANYZINK VUNCE <3
foooooocuuuuuuussssssss
She cleared her throat again and leered smiled at Miss Cassidy (WELL HEE-LLO CLARICE~!) and Miss Clavering (UND HEE-LLO TO YOU LAVLEY~!). "SCHOOL EVENT DA?" She shouted again, peering over their shoulders and into their shirts as a droplet of sweat spattered on the page. She frowned at the sports fest, then burst into gales of LOOOOUD laughter. "SILLY TEACHER GURLS. JOO SO CUTE VITH IDEA OF 'FEESTIVAL'! HOHOHOHO~. STOOPID CHILDREN VILL DESTROY EET ALL, LIKE ZEY ALVAYS DO! ZESE STUDENTS ARE NOT TO BEINK OF FESTIVAL MATERIAL, ZAT IS FOR HOITY TOITY PRIVATE SCHOOL OF GURLS IN SHORT SKIRT, IT EES!"

"NOT ZAT I AM TO BE KNOWINK." She added quickly.
"ALLOW MISS EISENKASTEN TO PRESENT IDEA, DA?!" She pulled something out of her pocket and took a pen out of her low-cut shirt, then scribbled on it. "HELGA EISENKASTEN VILL GIVE JOO ZEESE SUM OF EURO IN AMERICAN DOLLAR." She passed the slip of paper to Mr. Malice. "TOO BE FUNDED TOWARDS WEEKEND TRIP TO ROCKY MOUNTAINS! VE VILL GO ROCK CLIMBINK AND HIKINK. IT VILL BE SO VEEGOROUS, ZERE VILL BE NO TIME FOR FIGHTING, DA?!"

Marina blinked as the door slammed open again, admitting a butch woman. Marina recognized her as the new gym teacher, though she hadn't had a chance to actually sit down and talk with her just yet. She smiled in return as she smiled at her, ignoring the odd glint in her eyes as she looked down at the ideas on her paper, frowning slightly as the woman said it was a bad idea.
Well she was a phys ed teacher right? She would know about sports, more than she or Layla.
She was unable to see the sum of money on the paper given to Mr. Malice, but Marina looked at the two of them curiously, chewing absently on the top of her pen, a thoughtful habit.
"A trip to the Rockies? Well it has been ages since any sort of field trip has been taken. And it could be educational as well as fun."
Personally, her adventurous streak liked this idea. She had never been to the Rockies herself but she had gone rock climbing before and it was a lot of fun.

Ohhh... Rock climbing.
The mention of it made Layla wish her feet were as strong as it was a few years ago. "Can't we do both?" the woman would suggest, continuing to shuffle her deck of Tarot Cards. "Either way, we'll be earning money to buy enough materials for school repairs and all of the books destroyed in the Library. Well, that is if Ms. Eisenkasten agrees with me."
She then turned to Ms. Eisenkasten, smiling sweetly at the Gym teacher. Layla was not so fond of her, as the Gym teacher was relatively new... but a little more older than Mr. Griffith.
Then she turned to Griffith and smiled yet again. "Take the top card. It is your future."
The very first card said, "Death".
...
Though, Layla's predictions never do happen... actually.
Layla's smiles were scary. Primarily because of the fact that she never seems to be upset, worried or put under any negative thoughts on the surface... nor could anyone tell if she is on the inside. She was a born actress, or at least... that's how Shinichi's death brought her to be.
