Description of style:
Mach 13: Self-proclaimed fighting style, created by Helly in her younger years. By using her gymnastic skills learned at a young age, she incorporated this into fighting. It involves a lot of her body, but mostly the lower body. In this style, fists are rarely thrown; instead she uses flat palms or extended fingers. By putting more force into individual fingers, more pressure is placed onto the opponent in concentrated areas. A lot of this fighting style is based on balance as well. Her usual pose is bending one leg, with the other bent and hovering off the ground with her arms spread far for balance. She often only keeps one ligament on the ground, with three free limbs to attack with. It’s known as a grabbing technique as well, practicing double-edged moves to hurl the opponent onto the ground.
Systema: A Russian martial art. It is designed to be highly adaptive and practical, training using drills and sparring instead of set kata. It focuses mainly on controlling the six body levers (elbows, neck, knees, waist, ankles, and shoulders) through pressure point application, striking and weapon applications. It is said to be widely used by the Soviets, and even Stalin’s bodyguards. By controlling pressure points, and levers that control balance, a single tap in the shoulder can send an enemy to the ground. Minimal movement is used in this fighting technique, and fast, snake-like movements and simple dodges can manipulated the enemy. Counterattacks are widely used in this fighting style.

Helly grew up in a rather strange setting for as long as she could remember. From a very young age, she was raised in a circus. A freak show, to be exact. No one knows how she had ended up at the cirque, only that she was there. The members were unsure of what to do with the child at first, but decided to keep her for her unusual talents. These talents didn’t take much time to arise, though. The girl was born with the quirky and unusual ability to control her clothing, giving it life-like features, even a developing consciousness. The unusual ability was profound, and no one knew hoe she could do it, but she could. However, the clothing she controlled only seemed to have the same intellectual progress as she did. Using this unique technique and her natural flexibility and amazing gymnastic skills, she became a very successful act.
After starting to sport the circus’s usual uniform of black and skeleton patterns, she earned the act title of Helter Skelter.
After her many years in the circus, it was tracked down by police and shut down for its illegal services behind stage, many members sent to jail. Helter Skelter being a minor still was sent to a special center for juvenile delinquents instead. Many of her memories here have been blurry; she doesn’t remember many of them. To this day, she’s attempting to go to school for the first time and living on her own with government funding before she can find a stable job.
