Personality: Yuu is as Emo as one can get. He is in a permanent state of angst, but he usually masks it well. He is rather shy and often tends to keep to himself, but this (as well as his penchant for being completely blunt when speaking) is almost always misconstrued as being completely aloof. He doesn't like small talk, and will often cut someone off in mid sentence should he find the topic boring. Despite his quiet nature, Yuu is quite intelligent.

Description of style: Yuu Aihara is a masochist in every sense of the word. He thrives on pain and lives for the endophin rush it brings. With his massive constitution, Yuu is able to take a lot of physical damage and pleasure he stems from this turns him into a 'Hulk'-like state; just smashing any and everything at random. This is the essence of the Shujouteki fighting style, though it incorporates many attributes from other forms of martial arts; i.e. punches, kicks, grabs, holds, feints, etc, and uses every and any part of the body as a weapon. In conjunction with his Qi, this can be quite the dangerous style.
History Information
History:
He has no memory of his life before the age of five years. The furthest back Yuu can remember is being taken into the care of an affluent elderly woman. His every whim was catered for and for all intents and purposes he was spoiled rotten. Most people would've loved that life, however, Yuu grew bored with it.
It was just a bit too normal.
Yuu had never been satisfied with stability and the nerve-wracking monotony it brought with it. As a child, he’d tried countless ways to stave off the boredom. Because of his meticulous and quirky nature, other children at school scorned him and so he had no friends. Noticing the child’s distress, his foster mother had gotten him involved in many activities, such as learning to play the guitar and practicing martial-arts. At first, he had enjoyed the release, but after a few years when he’d learned all he could from his masters, he found himself in another rut of dullness. It wouldn’t be too long after that that an 11-year old Yuu would find his forte.
Out of sheer boredom, he’d begun to purposefully put himself into precarious situations –sometimes life and death– such as placing himself into the path of oncoming traffic and leaping away at the last minute, and picking fights with high-school seniors, just for the temporary adrenaline rushes they provided. Still, it wasn't enough.
Then, one night on the news, he saw a story that interested him. Clashes between rival gangs in the city had resulted in dozens of teenagers being hospitalized. The story sparked an idea and, the next day, Yuu wandered into the violence-plagued district and single-handedly took on close to fifty thugs. He lost, horribly and was critically injured. However, he came to realize that the pain wasn't at all that bad as he'd imagined. Actually, he loved it.
From then on, Yuu has devolved into a masochistic, introverted youth.
It wasn't long before his elderly benefactor died, leaving her vast wealth for him. Stricken by the loss (he really felt love for the old woman), the tragedy prompted him to search for his birth parents. He wasn't able to find them, but he did manage to find out that he had a twin brother. Pouring all of his resources into his venture, he left Japan for California, eager to find and test his twin; a kindred spirit - or so he hoped.
