(OoC: Mathew only, unless you want to watch.)
Leon stood outside the small cafe leaning against his little white Voltswagon beetle. Smoke in his mouth he looked up at the clear sky. Long Beach was an interesting place. How it survived everyday was beyond his understanding. A choke collar on his neck, his training weights snapped on, and his Strike Gloves, he was all prepared to just stand around and do nothing.
Right?
Anyways he was supposed to go recover some lost dog or something for some little girl whos daddy is filthy, and disgustingly rich offering lots of money for his daughters dogs safe return. Make princess happy.

Dull green pants covered in studs in the pattern of scales, A dull green trench coat covering most of his body, and a green gaze that burned with a fire within. It could only be Mathew Amtrum, the Earth Dragon. A legend in New York and a man that was determined to make his mark here, in California where the fates have dropped him. Mathew was leaning across from Leon on the wall of the cafe, his arms folded over his chest as his gaze moved across the streets in boredom.
The only reason he was here at all was because he was friends with Leon, the Lightning Strike Dragon. An old friend from New York and one that he felt closer too. They were reminders of a past time and another place. In a way Leon was the closest thing he had to home now. That wasn't to say they had a typical friendship. All of the Dragons had some sort of connection but none of them were truly close. Not in the sense most friends were. There would be no hesitation to fight or destroy each other if a situation arose. Back in New York in the gang wars there had been fights between the Dragons, but it was just two professionals doing their jobs. There was no hatred and spite in the fights. It was just something that had to be done, it was a relationship that most people didn't seem to understand, but that didn't really matter to Mathew. He didn't care if they understood or not.
"So whats the plan?" He would ask as his gaze returned to Leon with a small frown. He was hoping this was going to be interesting but so far it was just them standing around.

When Mathew asked what the plan was going to be, Leon pulled the cig from his mouth after a nice ong drag, the orange eye on the end of the death stick became a harsh hell fire for a split second before he blew out a puff of smoke towards the ground, closing his eyes and consentrating, seriousely talking as if he actually had everything planned out.
"We go to the pound, buy a dog and give it to the little girl."
Completely seriouse, he put the cig back in his mouth and leaned his head back again, calmly thinking alone to himself.

Mathew couldn't help but bust out laughing when Leon said that. It sounded like something that Mathew would say. Needless to say he fully approved of the fact that Leon was ok with ripping off rich people. He would push himself off of the wall as he walked over to Leon looking in to his eyes with a grin on his face before he slammed his right arm on to Leon's shoulder in a friendly way.
"I am so proud of you right now." He would say before wiping away a fake tear from his cheek. It was a bit surprising to see Leon suggesting so dishonest since he was normally in to the whole honor thing, but who was Mathew to complain. After all they were going to get paid for this right? After all most of the things that Mathew did benefited him in some way shape of form. Whether it was getting him in to a position of power so he could do what he wanted, or he would get money, or some other kind of perk. Unless it was just plain fun. That was also a motivator for him.
"Well I am all for ripping off the rich. So lets go get us a puppy!" Mathew would say excitedly as he waited for Leon to get in his car. Mathew would hop in to the passenger side of the car once Leon unlocked it that is.

Leon's honor code was still in effect, it just didn't bother him to go buy this rich snobs little girl a freakin puppy instead of hunting all of California for the damn thing. Honor only counted in battle anyways, any other time all was fair in love and war. The pat on the arm kinda stung since he was using alot of his strength to stay on his feet, even if he did look relaxed he was pressured. The collar around his neck was an interesting touch, but didn't bother him too much, his emotions seemed compressed with it, which was also good, but he did feel less affinity to his usual electric abilities.
Either way Leon would push the button unlocking the bug, and he would get in calmly. As they would begin to drive away, a huge bulking shadow would be walking up to where the car was parked, but by the time Leon would look in the rear view mirror the shadow would of vanished. Speeding like a mad man, weeving between cars that may or may not of been impossible, and driving on the side walk when cars where going to slow in front of him, he would finally find a parking spot next to the dog pound.
"We're here."
He would get out and walk inside to look at the dogs of chosing. He would look to Mathew and say the discription the little girl gave him.
"She said that her Dog was black, with a patch of white hair on his back. And that he had brown eyes."

"Uh huh." Mathew would say only half paying attention as Leon described to him what the dog was supposed to look like. It wasn't that big of a deal, and it wouldn't really require his attention to buy a mutt from the pound. Mathew would just stare out of the window with a dull gaze as they quickly made their way to the pound. He was oblivious to the shadowed figure that had approached where the car had been only moments ago.
By the time they got to the pound Mathew's eyes were shut having decided to rest them since nothing else was going on. It was a boring task, but since it paid he was just bitting his tongue and doing it. Plus he had to admit, ripping off a spoiled rich kid by just grabbing a new dog did tickle him. He loved making people's life harder then it had to be.
"Alright lets just get this over with. I think I will go home and take a nap when this is done. All this doing nothing has made me sleepy."
He would say with a small laugh as he got out of the bug, well after Leon parked it that is. Then he would go over the description Leon had given him one last time in his head, as if it would really matter.
"Black with a white patch? Alright lets go find her a puppy."

It wouldn't take long to find the dog that had a similer look than the discription, black and a white patch on its back, seemed simple enough. When they came across one they emediately nabbed it, put it in the car, and took off like a bat out of hell to the mansion where the rich people where waiting impatiently.
Presenting the puppy to the (boy) girl in boys clothing, he started crying.
"Look white patch, its your dog."
The kid cried to his dad, who brought a picture to show them.
"I'm sorry I was so vague before, you see. Dog, or as is the name of the Silver Back Gorrila, is my son's pet."
Leon seemed unfased by the picture and this new information, and put the dog down as it ran through the huge building freely.
"You guys didn't say anything about a huge endangered monkey."

Mathew would look at the large beast in the picture before looking up at the man. Then he would look back at the picture and at the little girl. His face was covered in an unusual mixture of shock and confusion, too things that was not normal for Mathew. Not a lot phased him, but this had come right out of left field. As his gaze moved from man, to child to picture he was left with only one thought, one that he had intended on keeping inside of his head, but in his confused state he had no choice but to say it aloud.
"What.... the.... fuck...."
He would blink, this guy couldn't be serious. How the fuck were they going to bring back a fucking Gorilla? It wouldn't even fit in the car. And he hired high school students for something like this? It was disturbing to say the least. Mathew would lean over to Leon whispering in his ear so the father and daughter couldn't hear him.
"Next time we do my idea and go on a heist. I mean... A Gorilla? Can we even do that? I mean thats.... wow..."
He couldn't say it more clear then that, his mind was just boggled at the turn of events. Of all the things he had done in his life, and the things he planned to do. He never thought he would have to battle a monkey. And thats what would happen. He doubted this beast was just going to walk home with them.

Leon would whisper back to Mathew with a simple reply.
"We'll just demand more money."
It had occured to him that there may be a battle, a gorilla though was fucking crazy but Leon had no thought about it really, a battle was a battle, man, beast, didn't bother him, but this was.... Strange.
"Alright, we want at least two more thousand. Big animals offer big pay checks, isn't that righ tlittle girl?"
"I'm a boy."
"Awe, nice try girly."
"Boy."
"Hmm, you don't look like a boy, too shrimpy, and weak."
The father seemed upset now.
"Stop insulting my son and get out, you will recieve your pay when you get Dog back."
