Can't Repeat
July 18th --Mild weather, relatively clear. All quiet in the Western wing of PHS#259.
There wasn't anything than just that for her journal. It was Friday, and after school, of course it was going to be quiet. The girl placed it inside her totebag and placed her hands on her lap. Arim had asked the janitors and a few teachers ahead of time to allow them to use some of the equipment in the school, and outside, for a school project.
Well, it was more or less a project.
Arim sat on the stage of the gymnasium, waiting for Yahto arrive. This was going to be a mutual training session between them, they both had things that they needed to learn. Arim had observed how Yahto had fought against John not long ago, and she had noticed that there was little tact behind his fighting. He was strong and fast, and could interpret enemy attacks well, but that could only go so far in a fight.
A small bemused smile crossed her face, then again, Arim wasn't exactly a fighter. She was weak, really weak. The only thing she had going for her was her intelligence and speed in a battle, and she wasn't all that fast anyways. Either way, this was something that Arim had to learn one way or another. She needed to be a little less...
....
whimpy.
Delilah and Rem have been up to things lately, there was an unusual stir among students. Something was going to happen, something big... "Well, I guess I'll give you the opening move. My name is John Ong, and I'll be evaluating your survival rating at this school... A war is coming, will you be prepared?"Arim remembered over-hearing this in the scuffle between John and Yahto.
Arim's Survival rate = Slim to None.
T__T;;
Arim hung her head for a moment and took a deep breath, she needed to think positive! Moping won't fix anything, she needed to increase that survival rate. It had to be somewhat decent... I mean, she was way smarter than most people in this school.
That had to count for something...
....Right?

It was just after 3:30 in the PM when Yahto came strolling through the open doors of the gymnasium. Usually, this would be one of the last places he would ever want to be in, and for good reason. No matter how times he tried to ignore it, he just couldn't stop his nose from crinkling whenever he smelled the sweaty and hairy stench of the school's gym teacher, Ms. Eisenkasten. Or as Yahto thought of her... "The Man/Woman that Hygiene Forgot". Sorry, but the way she acted and the way her sweaty man-pits stunk up the place... Yahto felt perfectly justified with the rebellious little nickname he'd assigned her. Not that he'd call her that to her face, though. Not without a good reason, anyway.
But since Arim was the one who called him here... Well, he could make an exception just this once.
So with that in mind, Yahto did his best to swallow his pride [and his gag reflex because of Eisenkasten's stench on his super-sensitive nose], and slung his backpack to the floor when he reached where Arim was sitting. "Hey you." Yahto greeted her with a bit of cheeriness. However, the glum look on the blonde's face caused him to immediately tilt his head a bit to the side, his eyes blinking perplexed at her. "The smell getting to you, too?" He meant it as more of a joke, mainly because he knew the stench wasn't what was bothering Arim. At least, he hoped not. Otherwise, he was afraid she was going to get sick.

The blonde's head picked up when she heard a smooth, yet familiar voice call out to her. The girl brushed her bangs out of her face and shook her head, she was used to living in a dump anyways, this was nothing. "No no, I'm alright" she reassured him, despite it being an utter lie. The teenager adjusted herself forward so she could slip off the edge. After straightening, the girl bent down to pick up her bag and proceeded towards the large metal doors that lead out of the Gym, back outside. The girl used a chair to prop the door open, then looked over at Yahto and smiled widely, crooking a finger to tell him to follow her.
The blonde stepped outside onto the grass, and took a step to the side. When Yahto come outside, he may have noticed a small white box painted onto the grass. It was small, probably no bigger than two bathroom stalls. However, that was not what Arim wanted him to focus on now. The girl took a few steps forward and stood in the middle of the field, "I've seen you fight" she started, looking around the field, "You're very good, I do not dispute that you know what you're doing. From what I can tell, you've been trained to fight". Her hands shoved into the pockets of her shorts and she turned to look at Yahto, a thin smile stretched her lips. "But... there is a lot more to fighting than fighting", the girl took a step back and held her hands out, "And that's what I'm going to help you with". Arim pit backed up one foot and thrust it backwards, causing it to hit a tree behind her. The small kick made it quiver a bit, though it caused something large and clumsy to flop onto the ground from it's branches.
It was... Letz Shake.
"You're going to fight Letz Shake" she told Yahto, holding out her hands as if presenting the punk like a platter. The blonde grabbed the befuddled punk's arm to heave him up and nodded. "I will be with Letz Shake, giving him advice on what he should do to attack and dodge, he will... be the fists, per se" the girl told him before she climbed up onto his shoulders and sat on him, like a child getting a piggy-back ride. Luckily, Arim was able to get some assistance for this fight for the small payment of a pair of her panties. "You're strong, fast, and can interpret attacks well" the blonde began, "But I need to ask you... what happens when you fight someone equally, if not more, stronger and faster than you are?". The girls hands sat aron top of the gargantuan teenager's moehawk, "Or even that 'body flicker' technique you use. There is always someone that is better than you are. When fighting an equal or stronger, there is one thing that will set both of you apart. Strategy".
"I apologize if this sounds sour, but.... You lack in methods, planning, tactics and efficient counterattacks" a small, friendly smile curled her lips again and the girl crossed her legs over the punk's chest. "So, we'll see how you fair".
The tall punk, taking the end of her speech as a signal to attack brought up one foot. Qi surged throughout his body and into his feet, making the punk smile crookedly behind his bandana. The punk laughed hysterically and his slammed his foot onto the ground, causing the ground in the general area begin to shake violently. It was like an earthquake, but different, it was thumping to the beat of the moehawk'd punk's dancing. It was causing a few objects to bounce uncontrollably and knock into walls, the whole ground would become nearly impossible to keep a balance on.
((OOC: >_>; I'll be posting with Letz Shake on this account, just need it to be on one account)).

"...."
O_____<;
Quite simply, Yahto really was that speechless. He had thought he and Arim would be spending the time bouncing ideas for strategies and going over simple drills or something of the sort when Arim first suggested the idea of meeting after class in the gymnasium. Ya know, something small and simple and fun. But this... This was just plain bizarre. Anyone would think the same thing if they saw one's girlfriend piggybacking another guy and telling you to fight. But since that other guy happened to be Letz Shake... Well... If Yahto were a computer, he would probably have the ol' Blue Screen of Doom with the words "Does not Compute." plastered all over it.
And Yahto didn't like Shake that well before all this.
Of course, Yahto forgot all about that when the ground suddenly started to quake beneath his feet. Well... Almost, anyway. But even so, Yahto knew he had bigger things to worry about! The initial shock had caught the boy quite off guard, but the following trembles nearly knocked him off his feet. He knew the best thing to do was drop down into his Wolf Style's four pointed stance and get some stability so he could figure out what was going on. What he saw was Letz Shake... riverdancing... on the ground with Arim still on his back. What made it even more freaky was that the tremors were coming in tune to the punk's dancing steps. Yahto could already feel that anime sweatdrop sliding down the back of his head. "What in the...?" he managed to mutter before another shock nearly made him lose balance and topple over.
Regardless of how it looked, and how weird it actually was, Yahto knew the only way to end his farce was to do just that. Just man up and get it over with. Knowing that, Yahto shifted his posture a little bit and felt the flow of Qi surge strongly throughout his body, making his senses and reflexes even sharper than before. He thought about using Body Flicker to attack Shake's blind side, but then he remembered Arim's words earlier. This session was meant to get Yahto to not rely so heavily on familiar techniques, and actually get him to use more strategy than force. Besides, Body Flicker would be all but impossible without some stable ground to push off of. That, and it didn't look like Shake would be stopping his quake-inducing dancing anytime soon. How someone would dance like that on such shaky ground with a person on their back was a mystery to Yahto.
Another shock wreaked havoc on the blue-eyed boy's balance and his right hand ended up slipping to the side. He barely managed to catch himself before he would've faceplanted into the cold soil, which would've been quite embarrassing because of Shake. The punk would've probably never let Yahto live this down if he lost. Which was all the more reason for Yahto get him to stop that damn dancing of his pronto.
"Here goes nothing." the boy muttered again, just as he bent his legs underneath him and crouched lower to the ground. Since he couldn't move on the ground efficiently, he would just have to go over it! Knowing that, Yahto suddenly pushed off with as much power his legs could muster and took like a missile aimed directly at Shake's exposed [and abysmally pale] chest. It was more like a long horizontal leap than anything else, but it would serve Yahto's goal just fine. Just before it seemed he would collide with Shake and Arim, Yahto suddenly spun to the side and aimed a sweeping and high-powered heel kick at the side of Shake's right knee. Yahto figured he couldn't dance if he couldn't use his knees.
There was only one way to find out if this would work.
