Fighting Style: "Hybrid" and Tae Kwon Do

Description of style:
"Hybrid": This style is just a mix of random fighting techniques and forms which Lance has picked up throughout his observations and such. Also, this style includes random street fighting and dirty fighting ( biting, clawing, choking,etc.) Although he will rarely resort to dirty tactics.
TKD: Tae Kwon Do style. Simple enough and fairly common. A mix of hybrid and TKD is preferred by Lyserg.

History:

Lyserg sat up in his chair and stared at the flickering computer screen. The monitor displayed a picture of a young male with light crystal blue hair who was holding up a bottle of coke towards the camera. Below the picture was a small file labeled “Lance Wespin”. Curious, Lyserg reached out towards the keyboard. As his hand made contact with the black mouse, the doorknob to his left slowly turned….
The door opened with no sound whatsoever, as the doctor came into the room. Lyserg, who had somehow managed to return to his original posture, sat languidly in the chair located in front of the computer. The computer itself, a Macintosh, glowed a bright blue, which gave the room’s white walls a fine blue hue.
“Lance, let’s have a look at your personal history…..”
“Your mother and father, Mina and James Wespin, have both recently left for a trip to Japan. Your mother, Mina Hitokawa, is half Japanese and a child of four. Your father, James Wespin is also part Asian, but there is no further information besides that.”
Lyserg sat in the chair staring up at the ceiling. As he stared, he spotted an errant fly, crawling across the ceiling tiles in a hurried pace. Paying no attention to Lyserg, the doctor continued.
“Lyserg. You were born February 13 at the Lincoln Hospital located in the financially challenged part of this city.”
A moments pause filled the air as the doctor looked over Lance’s personal history. The clock next to the wall ticked constantly, thus providing an annoying sound for Lyserg to hear. The chair he sat in felt like a rough mat, while the room felt like a small cubicle, boring, white walled and small.
“I see….you were raised elsewhere by one of your relatives….”
Lyserg felt pissed. This psychologist was supposedly helping him by giving him therapy over the weekends, but the only result was the wasting of time. Fortunately, today was the last day for the therapy, so there wouldn’t be any more sessions. Lyserg could care less…..
The therapy went on as the doctor retraced Lance’s history:
Childhood:
-Lance lived with his grandparents for about 3 years.
-His grandfather was a Tae Kwon Do master, and the owner of a famous dojo. Lyserg received training since he was 5 from his grandfather in TKD.
-His grandmother was a biology teacher in the community’s high school. She helped Lance foster an interest for science.
-Lyserg received an education from his grandparents during elementary school and most of his middle and high school education was funded by his parents
-Lyserg returned to his parents at the age of 8
Older Years:
-His mother, a cook, taught him how to make Asian cuisine
-His father, a lawyer, tried to teach him law- but failed to do so.
-When he was 10 years old, Lyserg joined a small gang
-In the gang, they practiced street fights and tried to find places where they had gang wars.
-Due to his “active” participation in the gang, Lyserg’s grades dropped quite a lot.
-Lyserg is suspended from his middle school when they find out he’s in a gang.
-His grandparents continued to influence him in areas of martial arts discipline and science
-In high school, Lyserg got into street fights and brawls; he’s still part of the gang.
-Chemistry class gets Lyserg interested! (Age 13, 9th grade)
-Gang participation causes Lyserg’s overall academic scores to plummet.
-Lance stays after school…almost every day, to make up his low grades and attendance records.
-The chemistry room explodes when Lyserg accidentally mixes two compounds without the teacher’s consent.
-The school (PS 367) is consequently burnt down and Lyserg receives 2nd to 3rd degree burns on his torso and most of his face. Arms and legs are slightly burnt, nothing severe.
-Lyserg is sent to E.R.
-The doctors say that he will need to refrain from moving his body during the healing period. Besides, Lyserg is immobile for at least 1 year.
-Lyserg from ages 13-15 stays indoors, while receiving strict homeschooling from his parents and grandmother.
-He manages to regain his mobility when he’s 14 and restarts martial arts. The bandages are changed occasionally, but most of the time they are kept on.
-Lyserg’s parents hear about PHS #169.
-Lance is sent there when he’s 16.
-Operation/ Plastic surgery is done shortly after he arrives at PHS #169. His MPD is cured.
