OOC: Andrew Black. Yay~ Character developement!
She ran out of the house leaving her car there. Once a couple blocks away, she had Reita come and pick her up, and as always, he knew that instantly something had gone wrong. He didn't pester her, but rather gave her a reassuring once in a blue moon hug. At home, she dragged her blankets and pillow into her closet, along with her music player, and just like that she fell asleep. It was something she did when she was sad - something she started a long, long time ago - something she hadn't done in years. And Reita, who had been watching over her all this time, could not help but feel a heartache pain as he watched his younger sister sleep once more in her closet. He didn't know who was to blame, but he had a general idea. Ever since that Andrew Black had been introduced, Mitsuki spent less and less time at home during the weekend.
Why?
["Mitsuki, wake up. Tell me where your car is so I can go get it."]
No reply.
["Mitsuki?"]
Silence.
["Mitsuki!"]
His beautiful blue eyes. How she stared so deeply into them, the look of remorse. Why couldn't she see them before? Was she really this blind? Was she always this blind? She was so sorry - but how could she go back to him? How could she after turning her back? That look. That look of...
["MITSUKI!"]
She gasped, eyes opening wide as she turned to look over at Reita. How many hours had gone by? Four?
She scrambled to her feet. She was in different clothes, sweats and a tee, and as she grabbed her cell phone, she headed off toward Andrew's house in the dark, her clothes and figure blending in well with the shadows. Drenched in sweat, she was at his doorway, panting for breath. So tired, she was on her hands and knees in front of his door, trying to figure out what she should say to him, what she should do...
I'm sorry for being so blind.
I'm sorry for turning my back on you.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
And so she sat there, in front of his door. She knew his security cameras would pick up, and that he'd probably see her from his phone.
How long would she stay in front of his door?
As long as she had to.

Andrew had cried himself to sleep.
He was still in the place by the wall when his phone began letting out a loud beeping alarm. His head rose from his lap, his eyes red and puffy from the tears. He SO didn't look like himself. He wasn't even worthy of being called a man at that point. His tears had long dried up, but the feeling deep in his soul didn't. He didn't bother getting up, even when the second phase of his alarm rang out. As the third, the red zone, began to ring, he stood, and walked over, intent to break the phone as though it were nothing. He didn't care if people were breaking in. If they were going to kill him. He just wanted to sit and wait for it to happen.
Thats when he saw who was sitting on his doorstep.
Mitsuki.
First feeling-anger. Why the fuck did she come back? Second feeling-Resentment. She had walked away without care. Third feeling-Calm. He would let her in, but she would find him far more withdrawn than he was before. He hit the button for the door, the electronic chip causing the doorknob and hinge to swing open. He would be there, on the stairs, standing with his glasses clean over his eyes so nothing could be seen. What did she want? Some sort of reaction? some sign that he was heartbroken or didn't care? She wouldn't get either. He was the pinnacle of mellow, the glasses hiding any sort of trace that he had been crying. He was still a little pale, but other than that, there was nothing.
Should she enter she would see him sitting on the steps, forearms across his knees, hands folded as she came around the corner.
She was so...so beautiful.
His face showed nothing.
"Forget your keys?" He said coldly, before throwing them down the stairs to lie at her feet. "There. No harm done. You can leave without worry." His words dripped poison, though his expression was unchanged. He didn't say anything more, he just sat, and waited. He couldn't take back her seeing into his eyes, her knowing everything. He wanted to...oh how he wanted to. But he just couldn't. He waited for her to respond to his cold words, or to pick up her keys and leave. He wanted something more..
But what he wanted he just didn't know.
And this is why he stayed away from closeness.
Because of pain like this.
He stared on, waiting for movement.

The doors swung open, but she remained in place. She would apologize, he would forgive her, and everything would go back to normal. Or so she wished. When her keys along with his cold words were thrown in her direction, she broke out in a smile. Did he hate her now? What was going on between them? Did she lose him? She did. She really did. Even if he did forgive her, they could never go back to being as comfortable with each other as they once were. Her eyes were a bit swollen, but could Andrew see that? She turned her head to face him, as her back was facing the door. He was paler than usual, stoic look on his face, such seriousness that caused her smile to slowly, painfully drop. She wanted, for one last time, to be like a normal girl once more before turning into an android like person.
Her hand had gotten a hold of the car keys as she turned to stand and face Andrew once more, her guard completely and utterly dropped. Another smile held true to her face, strong, unwavering. If they were to break up, she would not regret it - she would refuse to regret it. He had made her into a stronger person these past few weeks, and she'll cherish the memories they had together.
"I didn't come here for my car keys. I came to..."
But the words wouldn't come out. She had never actually formally ever apologized to anyone, or at least, not that she could think of at this moment. It was awkward, and odd - she never thought that she would have this pride that kept her from apologizing. But she did.
She was silent for a minute, shook her head with that smile still on her lips.
"Apologize, actually. I'm sorry."
And with that she let out a sigh, tilting her head up to blink back the tears.
Crying.
She really did not want to cry.
She would wait for his reaction, and if there was none, she would take her leave in silence.

"I didn't come here for my car keys. I came to..."
She paused. What had she wanted to say? Gloat? Laugh? Ask him why he even thought himself good enough for her? Tell him he was nothing? That it was fun while it lasted? That she would be over someone like him sooner than he expected? That she hated him? To spit on him? To make fun of his feelings? To crack jokes? To kick his ass? To threaten him? To-
"Apologize, actually. I'm sorry."
Andrews mind registered shock, and his guard and silent, emotionless expression was dropped. He didn't exactly know how to reply to such a thing. He, in his wildest dreams and thoughts, hadn't begun to form the simple apology that she had rendered. He just couldn't understand it. She had said she was sorry. He didn't think he had ever apologized to anyone before. He may have done it out of pity or to mock, but a sincere apology? Nope. She looked like the type who would rather die than do what she had done. She had pride. He could see that. He had it too. Pride is what kept your backbone. Kept yourself together. Made you feel important. She gave that up with a smile, giving him a simple yet effective two words in return.
His face went paler still, and he threw his eyes to the ground. His hands and feet were numb. He was hitting himself over the head with a bat, telling himself, yelling at himself that this isn't what he wanted. He had decided that. He didn't want to be with her. It was too much pain. But all of that was based off her leaving, turning away from him. He didn't know what to say now that she had said what she did. He open his mouth to speak.
"I...you..." He stuttered a moment in both embarrassment and fright before going silent. He was afraid. Oh, how he was afraid. Andrew Black didn't feel fear. He could look down the barrel of a gun and grin, look for a fight he knew he would lose and laugh. But here, here he was scared to death. His heart was racing once more, and his mind was reeling in pain and numbness. What should he say. Say SOMETHING! anything! his mouth wouldn't work. He tried to mouth those words. He couldn't do it. Couldn't even move his body from the position he was in to hold her. He just stared at the ground, hoping she would try. Hoping she would take the leap just one more time and touch him first. Give him some sort of physical contact. That was all he needed.
He couldn't say it out loud, but he screamed it in his head.
'I find that i'm madly in love with you, Mitsuki Park. That is why I'm afraid. Thats why i feel so distrustful. Thats why I'm trembling, and why these hands that hold a deadly gun rock steady are shaking as though aflame. Thats why i said i don't trust you. Thats why i cried for the first time since i was a boy. Thats why your scent and presence has me sitting here paralyzed. I cant help it. You captivate me. I love you. Truly, i do.'
He remained silent, Purple eyes closing in sadness beneath the shades.

She saw everything but his eyes. She wished that he had his shades taken off, so that then there would be no need for words on his part. But he replied - somewhat. His words were ever so confusing, causing the young girl to step forward because he had spoken so softly, thinking he would repeat it but... Did she miss a word, or did he purposely leave it out?
"I...you..."
You what? Forgive her? Pity, even? There were many, many things that he could have said, but it seemed that in a given situation, a person like Mitsuki might be a bit of a pessimist.
"...you hate me?"
That was Mitsuki's baffled thoughts, as ironic as it may seem. But there was a thin line between love and hate, the two being outrageously similar. He said nothing though, stayed in place. Did he want her to leave, now that she had apologized? Did he want her out of his life? She could do both, easily, and when the time came for them to fight for her title, you can bet that she would not even recognize Andrew for who he was - just another competitor. She was like a machine in some ways, but when she worked, she put her mind to it. Stubborn and headstrong, but flexible.
She didn't hear him actually say 'hate' though. She needed some real confirmation, and so she walked up to him, stealthily walking toward him. Would he stop her? She didn't care, she needed to know.
His shades would come off, fingers lightly brushing against the side of his face before tugging them forward. And, if lady luck was on her side, she would gaze into them, searching for that answer she had seen back in his bedroom, before she had turned and walked away.
"Say it again."

'You hate me?'God no. Anything but hate. While there was the grade shade of hate in everything, he couldn't find an ounce of it within his feelings for her, and thats what scared him the most. He didn't want her to think he hated her in any sense of the word, but he just couldn't form the words. He couldn't even shed tears of frustration at that fact. He just sat there, head slightly bowed and looked toward the ground, expecting her to walk out the door and leave with no final goodbye. Then, his glasses began sliding off his face, and her fingertips brushing his cheek. His eyes crashed up into hers, the passion in his own soul causing a sharp exhale. He didn't say anything, still couldnt move, all he could do was stare, his mid not allowing his eyes to move from the grasp they held on her. Deep into each others souls. He hoped she would find the answer there. The fear. The hesitation. But most of all. His true feelings for her. Love. "Mitsuki..."Just a whisper.

"Mitsuki..."
What she saw in his eyes, they were unfamiliar. Never had she seen nor received such a tender and caring look before. She thought for a moment that perhaps she had been seeing things, so from one eye to the other, she kept searching, despite the fact that the answer was right in front of her. She didn't understand - the feeling of her rapid heart beat, being light headed, butterflies literally exploding in her stomach. Was this enough to be called love, or simply a strong infatuation she was having for Andrew? She wanted to see him daily, wanted to be in his presence. Was this enough to be called love? She didn't know - as of right now, she was strongly infatuated with him, but was it love?
"Andrew..."
She lifted her hands up onto the side of his face, stepping up as she closed the distance between the two of them. She pressed her forehead against his, up on her toes as he was a bit taller than she. He wasn't going to break up with her, that was simply her overactive imagination - her simply thinking too much.
She didn't know what to say, what to do. She was relieved, however, that this was, pretty much, a misunderstanding. That much, along with everything else, she revealed. Did she love him?
She would learn to.

Andrew heard her voice, saw her movement. He would do anything for her. He knew it, and he knew that she would now know it too. She would be his all. But not yet. Such a transition from having nothing to having everything could break a man, and so Andrew reached down and scooped up his glasses, holding them as he looked back up into Mitsuki's eyes. His face was calm, expressionless, but his now unshielded eyes showed everything his face refused to acknowledge. He decided that, for once in his life, he would be brutally honest, and straightforward, even if it led him to be hated or incriminated, even if it pushed her away.
"Mitsuki. I find that i, as a man and as a person, am Falling hopelessly in love with you."
His mouth had no troubles forming those words. His body was working again, her body so close to his calming him, her smell destroying all sense of fear and reason.
"Ive never felt this way about anyone, or anything, in my entire life. Ive said it before, but this time...this time its different. I would do anything for you. And that, more than anything, scares the shit out of me. You are my greatest treasure, and my greatest downfall. I cant...I cant go from having no one and nothing to having everything I'll ever need. My mind is flooded with everything at once. I need...i need to slow it down."
"Someday, i hope to never have to wear these around you again, and to acknowledge your wish to always see me with them off. But, right now, i just cant. I just cant stop being who i am. I'm not even sure if, after this night, I'll be as open or as loving as i was only a few hours ago. Its like two parts of me are clawing for dominance, and are going to tear me to pieces unless i just try and take it slow." His eyes lowered. "I'm sorry if this makes you feel duped, or let down. I don't want to let you down, but the Micheal Stevens in me-" Though she didn't yet know who that was "-Isn't ready to go down without a fight. I still want to be with you, and change with you, if you'll have me, though I'll understand if you don't feel the same or are angry."
He looked back up at her.
"If you want, we can spend the night together, as Andrew and Mitsuki, this one last time before my mind rebounds, and i have to return to the darkness once more." By returning to the darkness, he meant the darkness of his glasses. He hoped she could understand...hoped she could find it within herself to know what he was going through. He felt like his brain would explode, but, as of right now, his softer side was in dominion, and if she wanted, he would try and keep himself as open as possible, and as loving as he could before he returned to his "normal" self.
He wanted to hold her. Wanted to kiss her. wanted to love her.
Soon.

Michael Stevens.
...could Andrew Black..possibly, like so many others at 259, be a schizophrenic? But. Instead of thinking that, she had a decision to make. Could she wait for Andrew Black? Could she handle him being more discreet in their relationship, or would she eventually grow to be suspicious and paranoid? Would she be able to endure, for him? Or would they only grow distant from each other? They had already opened up so much, to simply close off again might be a rather difficult thing to do. Awkward tensions might rise between them, and...
"Okay."
It was whispered, and she did not meet his gaze when she spoke. Rather, she nodded her head slowly, her hand reaching for his as she repeated once more of what was quietly said.
But what he didn't know, is that she would be gone before he would wake up.
"Off to bed, young man."
She grinned.

Andrew looked up at her after she agreed, a small smile forming on the corners of his mouth. Here she was, back in his house, holding his hand, and agreeing to waiting for him to finally be ready to open up again. He didnt know how things would go after that day, whether it would go well or if it would suddenly plummet because of his decision that night, he didnt know. He hoped they would be able to stay together, but he just...he just didnt know. He stood and headed upstairs, leading her by the hand. After they entered his room, he closed the door, the lights off, night having long come since their fight earlier.
As soon as the door shut, he would wrap his arms around mitsuki and give her a deep yet tender kiss. He didnt know how long it would be until they kissed again.
Nor did he know if he would stop kissing her at all that night.
If this was going to be the last time their lips met for a long time.
He was going to make sure he memorized the feel of them.
Every.
Little.
Spot.

They say that Chemistry happens when the lights turn off.
A gut instinct told her that all of this was a bad idea. Her agreeing with him, staying the night - that it would all end badly, and the both would get hurt more than they could ever imagine. On normal occasions, usually 99% of the time, Mitsuki would follow and trust her gut instinct; some of those instincts were logical, some weren't. This one happened to make sense, but she ignored it - or rather, forgot it when his lips came crashing onto hers. Would they ever kiss again? His tender lips pressing against hers? And would she be able to be around Andrew with his shades on, knowing he won't be so open anymore? Uncomfortable thoughts that were, just like the rest, forgotten for the rest of the night as she returned his kiss aggressively, as if it would be the last.
The two were in a rather dangerous zone. In his bedroom, lights turned off, making out - though the thought of her even losing control of herself did not yet cross her mind - the thought of what this could lead to, however, did. But that was the thing - she didn't want to think in this situation, about anything. And it was easy, because kissing Andrew Black was like... Well. It was good. So good, that her surroundings seemed to have become rather hazed.
"I miss you."
She whispered against his lips, pulling away for a quick second for the both to get some breathing in. He was right here, pressed up against her.
So why did she miss him? Figure it out.

'Uh oh.'
That was the only thought that rang out through the confusion in Andrews mind. His reason was all but gone, and he was completely mixed up. Not to mention that fact that her body was pressing into his and wasn't helping him to control those feelings much at all. She told him she missed him. He just leaned back in and kissed her again, wrapping his arms around her waist and hoisting her into the air. This couldn't be good. Or could it? He just didn't know. It was dark, he was in his room, and now his shirt was off...wait a minute? His shirt was off? The quick thought was thrown away as he walked toward his bed laying her down as his lips pulled away. He stared into her eyes, only a slight glint shining from them off the gap in the doorway. He leaned in softly, gently, gently grazing and pressing his lips to hers. He kissed her chin, then her neck, taking in her scent as he did so.
'Shit'
He tried his best to contain himself. He wanted her to push him away so badly, but another feeling, one just as strong wanted her to leave him be, to egg him on. His hands were on her waist and began sliding up, lifting her shirt enough to expose her stomach and leave it just below her chest, so he could feel his body against her, his skin with her skin.
'Uh oh.'
This cant be good.

His shirt was off? Oh snap. Her breathing was staggered as he leaned in for another kiss, pulling her up into the air with ease, as if they had done this a million times before. It was so natural, to be held by him - it felt so nice. And then pressure on her back, the cushioning of the bed against her, eyes staring rather intensely at each other. She stared at him, his lips brushing against her own, her chin, her neck. A gasp, a sharp intake of air, body slightly arching to fit against his own. She felt his hands on her waist, his touch brushing against her stomach as he lifted her shirt - she should have stopped him there, but she didn't. The feeling of his flesh against hers made her hiss, left hand wandering down his bare back, her right hand brushing through his hair. Stop.
But I don't want to. Stop.
"Andrew--"
Another intake of breath. Hands slid to his shoulders where she would apply some force, but not too much - as if she were still trying to decide if she wanted to continue or not. They should stop, but she didn't want to. Teenage hormones, you know?
"Stop."
She whispered, but her tone of voice was nearly begging for him to keep going.
So what's he going to do?

'stop'
A whisper.
It was all that was needed.
The small voice struck like an arrow through his thoughts, and he immediatly pulled away, sitting up between her legs and breathing heavily. He didnt want to. He almost leaned back in, almost took her tone as paramount to "i want this" but he didnt. He stood up, hands on his hips, eyes looking away from Suki. He needed a moment to think. What was he doing? His reason returned in a blink, and he almost kicked himself for what almost happened. This was neither the time, nor the place. He couldnt even look at her. He knew she wanted it too. He felt it.
Felt her body heat.
Felt her rise to meet him.
Heard her implications.
He walked over to the window and sat in the chair there, head in his hands, breathing heavily.
'Your so fucking stupid...not now! Why did you think now? of ALL times? Idiot...'
He didnt look up, thoughts swirling in his head as he finally regained control.
What to do?

She remained absolutely still when he pulled away, another sharp intake of breath as if he had literally taken her breath away. He wasn't looking at her, that much she knew, and when he got off the bed and toward--..well, she wasn't sure where he had gone, for she was staring directly at the ceiling, composing herself.
Hand reached into her pocket and pulled out her MP3 player, turning it on and pulling a headpiece into her ear. Getting up, she approached Andrew, hand reaching for his wrist. She would pull him up and put a headpiece into his ear, arms wrapping around his neck, head resting against his chest.
It's called dancing, and you do that until one or the other falls asleep.
